So I just got an email from the Northwestern student-accounts address. They used to bill me for tuition. Thinking I would see a zero balance and wondering why they sent it at all I logged in.
Allie may be graduated but they apparently still have her license plate on file -- she got a $50 parking ticket last Wednesday.
Still -- surely they have some system for giving tickets to the general public that doesn't run through student accounts?

Carried Sue's post from the last part: Quoting myself because that's how I roll. On checking twitter stats, Colbert has over 1 million followers, whereas Misha has just under 30K. Big difference there, so I guess it'd also depend on whether or not the face off was on twitter or on TV. Man, I think my brain would melt from fangasming if Misha went on The Colbert Report. . . . . . So odd to have 1 million Twitter followers and only an average viewership of .6 million. Well, they probably aren't including those who watch the shows in reruns or dvr numbers, I would think. I mean, I had to take TDS and CR off my season pass because I just couldn't keep up with watching them and regular tv, but I do still try to catch reruns as much as possible. And I do follow Colbert's twitter.

But, but, but... That means taking personal responsibility! We can't go around doing that! [/sarcasm] Good points, I thought.

Hokay. I r dum. I got halfway to Fullerton before I remembered that my car's registration expired yesterday, and that the new registration and sticky are still clipped onto the kitchen calendar. So I drove very carefully the rest of the way to the one store I really wanted to go to, then very very carefully home and took care of that. Then I did the rest of my (fruitless) errands, managing in the process to shut the car door on my foot. And when I got home, I dropped a small hoop earring on the livingroom carpet, which promptly ate it. Me dum. Me go hide in Stupid Corner now. *Staggers through Thrall Room, tripping over assorted chairs, footstools and tables on the way* and arrrrgghhhh

I forgot to take my 11:30 am insullin until 4:30pm yesterday. Julia, my ADHD meds are so very unworky of late.

Ha! That's nothing. I forgot to take my 11:30 am insullin until 4:30pm yesterday. Julia, my ADHD meds are so very unworky of late. Okay, now that's actually not good at all. Nope. I'm all executive-memory free, which messes up everything, and is the #1 sign of needing a meds change. It's frustrating as hell. Julia, of course having to deal with at least two three (Sam is reading me from a list of people who were in the Marine Corps right now) corresidents who think that they exist, and therefore can be interrupted at any point, doesn't do much with my ability to keep a thought in my head for sufficiently long to finish it, or remember whyI had it to begin with.

Just finished watching last week's Parks and Recreation. Holy hell that was a funny ep. Now I see why Mo Ryan is using RonfuckingSwanson as her twitter icon. ;D

And I took the afternoon off from work because I didn't feel good and I was all bad moody and tired and it's been pouring rain here all day. So of course, now that I'm home, I'm wide awake, feeling better, and the rain is slowing down.

Culled all the never used, never will cookbooks and dusted the bookshelves. Now if I can only keep The Husband from wanting to keep them, not that he actually follows recipes anyway... Development chemists have interesting philosophies of cooking, to say the least. Anne, dusty, sneezy, tired, but I found the odd little cookbook illustrated by Tasha Tudor, behind some big books, so yay me ETA: Low last night 48°, currently 83°, no wonder my sinuses hate me
