Re "The Prisoner" -- there are 2 episodes back to back from 7 to 8 AND 8 to 9 (central).
I doubt we will watch.
Jim has the DVR 84% filled and I have a sister coming into town M/T/W so must get a lot of internet chores done tonight.
Afternoon got hijacked by leaf raking, but Tom was here and it seemed wise to take advantage of the moment.

Thanks, Sue and Lola!
I've got some good people on my side, I do.
In other news, I was sent a style guide for an edited collection I submitted an abstract to. I'm hoping that's a positive sign.

I still waffle, because, well, Ian McKellen. Not that I've set the recorder for it or anything, but I may swing by and peek . . .

Thanks, sweetie. And I'm keeping several logs in the fire. Something is bound to blaze up eventually... Someone's going to notice your awesomeness and hire you, and soon. I am unanimous in this.

Anyone else watching The Wizard of Oz? Such fun!! Hey! I love the W of Oz..what channel? I am watching the end of Serenity on Scify. We also got "UP" and "Sunshine Cleaning" out of the Big Red Box, which I think was a case of our eyes bigger than our..well, eyes... Since Nick has to travel again tomorrow and has some packing and work stuff to do tonight. I think I'll snag the grandson after work tomorrow and watch 'UP' with him.

I've been alternating between Oz and Serenity. It has been kinda surreal. ;D I think they're gonna repeat Oz again after this first showing is done.

We watched Oz last night.
Sam still hasn't watched SGU, and is disinclined to do so. Since he's the demographic they want, I think this is a serious problem for Wright and Cooper.
Julia, meh is spreading

Currently watching the NE Patriots vs. Indy Colts. Good game. Also fun today was watching the Titans win their third in a row. 17 to 17 with 10 minutes left: won the game 41-17. Only 4 games ago it was a 56-0 loss to NE. Also, the VU women got 90 points in their first game of the season. 2 free tacos! (ticket stubs for games in which we score over 75 points are worth a crunchy taco. I think we make back the entire cost of the season tickets.....) Misc news: Raked (yard is nearly an acre and covered in trees. Jim uses mower to cut and blow leaves into big piles, but piles have to be loaded onto tarps and dragged elsewhere. I start vitamin D supplements next week, due to a high parathyroid value. I'll let you know if I'm suddenly unachy, energetic, free of insomnia, stronger, etc. Nothing really to say. Avoiding some stuff that needs to be done since my sister gets into town tomorrow for 3 days. And it's 9:30 so unlikely to get done tonight. Get up early? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. maybe.
