My mum phoned today to ask if 'Watchmen' was a film suitable for my autistic brother. ... after a quick explanation of what 'strong violence' means in that context, it was firmly decided no. But I haven't ideas on what else he'd like, because my head is full of essay and Doctor Who. He likes the dalek movies but not TV shows mostly. Self contained short stories are more his thing. I think I watched 3 movies this summer, and the other two I didn't like. Oh, and Coraline. I liked it but I have no idea if my brother would.
... ideas?

Maybe it comes out of the advertising budget? Maybe *shudder* they're selling their mailing list? Julia, dunno, worth that price to find out, eh?

Ooh, this looks interesting:
Variety reports that NBC has given a pilot presentation order to an untitled comedy from writer/director/executive producer Larry Charles and executive producer McG, which studio Warner Bros. Television is calling a "prototype" for what the actual series would be. Project revolves around a group of small town sci-fi-obsessed fanboys who convene to shoot their own episode of a cancelled series.

Also today I got a letter from a lady from the local council saying I should probably move cause I'm vulnerable people and here is a bad place to live. ... the finally getting the letter is ... the housing here is the hall at the moment smells like a combination of pet shop, public loo, and dettol, and I do not wish to walk through it. I especially didn't wish to walk through it when it was mostly made of puddle. But there's only one hall.

Hmmm. That is kind of young to switch him over to adult food. I mean, if it's impossible to keep him from eating Yuri's food and to get him to eat his own, then at the very least I'd recommend mixing their foods together, that way he's still getting some kitten food, and Yuri's not getting too much kitten food.

Thanks, guys. And you're right; the right one will come around. I'm just not, you know, known for my patience. And they do seem like nice people; in the end, it comes down to who will be the best fit...and if that's not me, then that's probably for the best, right?

Almost anything with James Bond (not so much the newest ones), or Arnold Schwarzenneger. Or... well, I don't entirely know, because whenever he visits I say No Bond Or Arnie and he brings a backpack full of them and then there's arguing and then he rearranges my whole DVD collection. He likes Transformers. And Harry Potter, for the sports flying scenes. And... he ran out of things to buy from the local DVD shops quite some time ago so he now has double and triple of things...

Liz - we put the cat food down, each with his own type (diet for Riley), and take it all away when they walk away from it. It takes a while, but they eventually learn to eat when fed, because the food won't just be sitting out all day.

He likes those films though. MI more than Bourne.

I have 2200 words for my essay which would be great except the most I can have is 1650 before I start losing marks.
and they're kind of rubbish words.
and the references got lost again even though I try and remember every time to never copy/paste without the [author]
