*Offers cookies and caffeine of choice* I have a new ticky timer from Cost Plus. It's an eggplant. A shiny purple eggplant. I am attempting to control my time*, so I have allowed myself fifteen minutes of PC before I get back to actual chores. We'll see how that one goes... *As in, make better use of. Ticky ticky tick tick tick...

What are some of his favorite movies? Almost anything with James Bond (not so much the newest ones), or Arnold Schwarzenneger. Or... well, I don't entirely know, because whenever he visits I say No Bond Or Arnie and he brings a backpack full of them and then there's arguing and then he rearranges my whole DVD collection. He likes Transformers. And Harry Potter, for the sports flying scenes. And... he ran out of things to buy from the local DVD shops quite some time ago so he now has double and triple of things... Just saw the Disney Pixar animation movie, "Up". Really cool animation, storyline is typical Disney with the evil that needs to be overcome and the schmaltzy, in your face metaphor and happy ending. But the dogs are fun! "Squirrel!" and the "Cone of Shame". I was giggling like I was 7.

Hey, we just finished digging out the driveway drains in a mere drizzle and 10mph winds so that we don't have to do it tomorrow when there's supposed to be 35mph winds, 2-3" of rain, and, oh, yeah, 38F temperatures. So wharrgarbl back, man. Julia, thingsare a hair tidier, though, that's always nice.

Blearghl. I did lots of small cleanup, here, there and everywhere. Now I have a backache, a neckache and a headache, and I feel rather ish. Virtue is its own reward, they say. I say I hunt them they down and give 'em a taste of Mr Bolty. And Kitty's not feeling too well either.

you know life, specifically the college related parts where I must get up at 0630 every wednesday and stay up until at least 1600, would be a lot easier if lying down in the warm didn't sometimes result in waking up again at half past eleven at night. #doh2#

Thanks for the advice Monnie and Rachael. I'll try to just take away the food until they learn to eat their own; I just hope that they learn pretty quickly because it sounds like it will take some effort to train them.

When my girlfriends and I went to see "Monsters versus Aliens" they were showing previews of Up and it did look like giggly good fun. As was Monsters versus Aliens, actually.

I have 2200 words for my essay which would be great except the most I can have is 1650 before I start losing marks. and they're kind of rubbish words. and the references got lost again even though I try and remember every time to never copy/paste without the [author] Release the editing monkeys!

Ooh, this looks interesting: Variety reports that NBC has given a pilot presentation order to an untitled comedy from writer/director/executive producer Larry Charles and executive producer McG, which studio Warner Bros. Television is calling a "prototype" for what the actual series would be. Project revolves around a group of small town sci-fi-obsessed fanboys who convene to shoot their own episode of a cancelled series. Oooooh! Art imitating Life that instigated Art! Coolio!
