Hey - I forgot to tell you guys! Saturday night at the orchestra was very fun! A showing of The Wizard of Oz with the musicians providing a live score. Very cool! You do the coolest things! I never do anything. I suck. Don't make me come over there! Although I get what you're saying. My town isn't as cool as Lola's city when it comes to the arts. We try, but a few murals and a few plays/concerts a year is about all we can muster. Love living vicariously through Lola's activities! I also love your avatar.

Um, casting news for Supernatural, so SPOILER ALERT, but I thought it'd be of interest to a few people here that watch a certain franchise of shows: Coolness!

Yes, that's Mr. SMG. Or I should say Mrs. SMP. Didn't I read somewhere where he's Jack's heir-apparent? Sure looks that way. However, isn't this the last season for the show? Are we going to end with Freddie baby taking Jack's place and just leave it up in the air? I thought the show was going to have a feature film to cap it off, but it seems that's out the window. Don't know if I needed to put that under the spoiler button, but there you have it. ;D Maybe they'll have a spinoff called 25.

Morning Scubies I watched 24 but I too hate Dana's subplot and didn't find myself very interested in anything. So . . . . I'm not sure how much more I will watch. We'll see. I loved Life Unexpected though. It truly did remind me of Gilmore Girls and I loved the warmth of the characters. And finally saw Leverage and just kept thinking the Scubies would totally ace sneaking into Fashion week. We already have the creations. I'm busy, busy, busy these days. My website has been insane and I'm getting last minute requests for monologues for auditions and it's keeping me hopping. I've also been doing lots of private acting lessons and dance season kicks off with the NYCDA competition this weekend. Speaking of dance - the dance studio owner's daughter and a senior both auditioned at SYTYCD Miami yesterday and both made the first cut. That means they get to dance their solo in front of the judges. Katie is today and Taylor is on Wednesday. for your homies getting on SYTYCD! *vibes* for your busy days!

Actually, I told Jim they should rename it "7" and then have the plot spin out over a week. (21 eps: morning, afternoon, evening x 7) Because the time compression element is soooooooooo laughable. We should pull in Renee and have her re-infiltrate the Russian mob. 5 minutes later they are meeting with the Russian guy. Sheesh.

I can't sleep. I think I'm having an anxiety attack. Crap. Tomorrow is going to SUCK. and big Mommy Anne hug. You know the kind of tired that is physically painful? That kind of tired would be an improvement. If I had any kind of sick leave I would have stayed home today. I feel totally like crap. I think I will do what MUST and bail. News on the workfront. Supervisor has been selected to be an Appeals Officer in Baltimore MD. Why she couldn't have been selected five years ago when she was making my life miserable instead of now when she is essentially leaving me alone is one of those things that go on the Sucks side of the Diane's Life Roster. Now we'll have to break in a new Supe. Given that most of them are selected from the Field Offices, and given the history of my life regarding supervisors, there is a strong liklihood of a severe case of Second Lieutenantism (i.e., all gung ho and going to make the troops do it the RIGHT way without any notion of how procedures actually followed here) among them. I'll be in my bunk. Anne, could you warm up Mr Bolty just in case we need him?

Life, Unexpected was watchable. Human Target was watchable. Mark Valley is always watchable. Just not sure I'll make time. And, just a personal reaction here but I really had a huge problem with: get engaged to one guy, spontaneously sleep with another (as if hormones are destiny and she was absolutely driven by her insatiable need to have sex with a guy she hadn't seen in 16 years, had only every had (one has to assume) had bad sex with previously and didn't even know anymore) and then go back and re-propose to the first. This really bothered me on a moral level, even though I know my attitudes toward extra-marital sex don't exactly jive with current cultural mores so I generally try to role with it. But ... didn't like that plot point AT ALL. Especially since I like the finance. He seems like a stand up guy and you know she didn't tell him about the sex. Excuse my judgmentalism, I"m probably not a "good fit" as a CW viewer.

You aren't doing yourself or them any good if you're a zombie.
