Have I mentioned I hate having no edit button?! Just the lyrics this time...
Vampires, slayers and friends, Where will they go from here Where will they stop I believe that fate has brought us here And we should be together But we're not I play it off but I'm dreamin of Buffy I'll keep it cool but I'm cryin' I try to say goodbye and I choke I try to shut off the TV and I fumble Though I try to hide it, it's clear My world crumbles when you are not near Goodbye and I choke I try to shut off the TV and I fumble Though I try to hide it, it's clear My world crumbles when you are not near I may appear to be free But I'm just a prisoner of your stories I may seem alright and smile when the show disappears But my smiles are just a front I play it off but I'm dreamin of Buffy I'll keep my cool but I'm cryin' I try to say goodbye and I choke I try to shut off the TV and I fumble Though I try to hide it it's clear My world crumbles when you are not near Here is my confession BtVS has been my obsession All other shows need Joss' touch His great intellect, wit, and such With all my might I try But this I can't deny I play it off but I'm dreamin of Buffy I'll keep my cool but I'm cryin' I try to say good bye and I choke I try to shut off the TV and I fumble Though I try to hide it it's clear My world crumbles when you are not near Though I try to hide it, it's clear My world crumbles when you are not near

Patti said: Do you play? //David said: I always play ... oh wait, you want to know if I play the trumpet... completely different... Anyhow, the trumpet question was along the lines of the flute question -' David, it's just like the dog thing...I got your reference. I was 'playin' with you' too. You can almost always feel safe in not taking me seriously. Almost always.

David said: Patti, RE the FHM article with Alyson -- ...// And the penis question was #29. That explains it. The online site only contained part of the interview. It said to buy the mag for the whole thing.

// Rae has a site? How did I miss this? Ellie, did Rae post the address? Share please! // You didn't miss it Patti, I never really mentioned it. I gather that ellie probably got it off my ScoopMe profile or the one on the temporary new board. See my post to Sue (#52, I think) for the URL.

In the spirit, this will be my Anthem, long associated with the tears I shed in Coolie High, it will now also help me remember Buffy:
How do I say goodbye to what we had? The good shows that made us laugh Outweighed the bad. I thought the show would run forever But forever's gone away It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday I don't know where this road Is going to lead. All I know is where we've been And what we've been through If we get to see a spin-off I hope it's worth the wait It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday And I'll take with me the memories To be my sunshine after the rain It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday And I'll take with me the memories To be my sunshine after the rain It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday

I've posted part #18 to my betas and will await their word whether it's OK as it stands or needs more work before it goes before the rest of the S'cubies. Far as I'm concerned, though, I've made my deadline of before the series finale. Not a lot of Spuffy, but a lot of Spike, and that's good enough for me. I can rest now.

Cochise's death was second in my heartache only to Buffy's Season 5 death! And hey, it's been remastered and is now on DVD (on my amazon.com wish list).

All the pictures of Alyson that accompany the FHM article are good, and there's also some very good photos of Charisma (some of them she's practically nude and wearing a wedding band, so they are recent), Emma and Julie Benz (Julie has a great quote .... "One day (after a raunchy scene) I said to the crew, 'From now on, I have the world's most perfect body. I don't care if you don't believe it, but if anyone ever asks you, I have a perfect body.' They all had a good laugh over it."). There are others highlighted, like Sarah, Eliza, Amber and Clare Kramer, but they don't come with racy photos attached. Anyhow, this one photo was a special highlight for me. Hope the guys like. The ladies are welcome to like it, too, but it's not James shirtless, so I'm just not holding my breath on that one.
