I want Mr. Gordo.
It's weird being up at this hour. I actually can't sleep 'cause I've got a cold. Ik.

I know you all saw this a million years ago and probably can't remember or else discussed it thoroughly at the time before I lurked, but did anyone else think that Spike/the First looked a lot younger than Spike in Never Leave Me? And, if you did, was that supposed to show that being evil keeps you young?

No, I don't think so. I think it meant that Spike was tired, worn down by the soul and by the First's tormenting him (even vampires poop out eventually.) The First, being noncorporeal, was fresh and unburdened.

For those of you that have already visited Dave's profile, it might behoove you to take another look. He originally took the initiative to copy the profile questions from the others profiles and didn't realize that I also asked for a pic at the end of the questionaire. Then he saw a pic on someone else's profile and sent me an inquiry.
So, he sumbitted a pic for all you lovely ladies to look at. Go and enjoy!

Diane - good questions! I guess we'll know it's over when it's over (could I be more vague?). As to the second question - let's let the S'cubies judge!
S'CUBIES - go read the debate between Diane and I about the humanity of Buffy. Here section is really, really good - mine is alright. Let us know what you think of them.

VLAD: Thanks for correcting the typos, even if you did have to disillusion all my fans! It's tough to be perfect, but I try to live up to the S3 site standards. Actually, it is a high quality site and it is nice to see we are getting fairly high ratings from people on BuffyGuide.
DAVID: By Buffy saying "I love you" to Spike, I mean "I'm in love with you," as its gonna have to be all or nothing here. We might get nothing, but it doesn't seem we are going to get platonic, not with the "still hot for each other" set-ups we've had this Season. So . . . I'd say get the nitro-glycerin tablets ready. I don't just say this as a Spike fan. It really seems to me the set up all along has been for Buffy to come to love and embrace Spike (and what Spike represents - her power and her dark side) as much as she has Angel (her feminine side, her "light") - a metaphor for growing up, becoming a complete person who knows and accepts all of herself. I will be really disappointed if ME doesn't follow through on this, after all the set up we've had.
CAST PARTY: Oh, Michelle! Yes, that dress was too much. But she did look beautiful, as did they all. So sad!! I just can't believe they are done - they'll never again film a BtVS episode together. Sad, sad, sad.

Lee, you flatter me. I sweated Mister Pointiess trying to respond to your entry. However, it's done. Go pick my argument to pieces. Then, if you like, we can stop and let the S'cubies chew on it for a while.

I think AH looked best. She just was so pretty. I don't like seeing MT so tarted up. She's too young, to skinny and too YOUNG to wear all that makeup and...WHAT DRESS?

When's your next fanfic installment scheduled?

Alyson looks simply amazing. Michelle T. really went all-out for this, no? ASH--where did you get that tan, buddy? Love Juliet's outfit.
Wahhhh...I'm so sad.

First of all, I can't believe I was totally caught up with the board when I left here last night and this morning there are 7 more pages of postings to catch up on. And me buried in work with no time to read them and get my work done. I'm supposed to take the day off tomorrow to spend with my sister who's in town from CA from that means falling seriously behind at work and with the board. When work isn't so busy it's not so much of an issue but these days...well, I'm just venting now.
I'm jumping in to respond to Spring's question about whether once Buffy owns up to loving Spike a couple of kisses will suffice or will only a final sex scene satisfy. I say, none of the above.
See, this is what I'm afraid of and James' comments on the finale; the 'bloody, romantic, heartbreaking' remark, just reinforces my fear. I don't want Buffy to wait until sometime during the last episode to tell Spike. I don't want their happiness to be confined to a fraction of the final episode. I have been longing for her confession to happen, well, weeks ago would have been good but in time for them to actually be together as a true couple, just for awhile, to support each other as only a romantic couple can, to see the others reacting and adjusting to them being together- you get the picture. And now all I can see happening is maybe one last glimpse of them together again before disaster tears them apart. We'll probably see less of Buffy and Spike together than Willow's and Tara's reunion before Tara was shot down. I am very angry and upset in advance.
But I have to go back to work now.
