Re Spike looking younger as TFE, I don't think he's the only one. Buffy seems to have a slightly different look as well.
I attribute it to the makeup and lighting departments (and even the actors themselves) working to make the corporeal versions more haggered looking. Buffy's been dealing with the appocolypse and her bad leadership, Spike's been dealing with the appocolypse and his soul, etc. They're worn out. TFE on the other hand, is just getting started, or so it would seem. TFE Buffy seems to have more pep; she's considerably perkier, for example. Spike, likewise.

Oh would you leave that little girl's dress alone! *L* It wasn't nearly as bad as you let on. Think of all the pics of SMG and Charisma and Eliza and most of the other actresses on BtVS and AtS from magazines like Maxim, FHM, and others and I think you'll notice that its a phase that all girls go thru.
It starts around maybe 15-16 and when they actually hit "quasi" adulthood at 18 (ie. removed from parental fetters)they go thru this huge rebelious "Look at me, I'm a WOMAN now, see my womanly attributes!" phase. Compared to what I have seen on (or not on) some of hte other young actresses in the last few years, I think MT's dress is barely a blip on the radar, and in fact, she shows more restraint at her young age than many. I'll bet that by the time she hits 21-22 you'll see a very chic, well made, professional woman, jsut as AH, SMG and so many other younger actresses develop into.
Vlad
PS. I thought her hair and face were made up very attractively. It took me a second from the first group photo to even realize that was my "little Dawnie." *sniff* Our little girl is grown-up.

Sorry Vlad, but I didn't touch her dress. It just sort of came off on it's own. Honest.

Looking back at the group shot that Patti led off with (and is apparently one of the more popular lead photos, or at least something similiar), was anyone else sort of struck by the group that was chosen to be in the photo? Obviously there were a lot of other people at the party who had things to do with making BtVS a success, everyone from Kristine Sutherland to D.B. Woodside was on hand. So for that group, I can't help but wonder what was the price of admission? Maybe I've just been to too many family reunions where each photograph has a sort of "theme" -- a photo of all the cousins, a photo of a particular branch of the tree, etc. That's also my professional opinion as well.
Maybe it's just me, but for the picture that would be used as the lead photo, the group should have been Joss and anyone who rated their name in the opening credits at any point. Emma, Alyson, Tony, Michelle and James all met that requirement. Nicky and Seth should have been in the picture. Sorry Tom and Alexis, love you both, but this wasn't your photo.

I don't know if anyone of you besides Rae have checked out mine and Diane's debate on the Misc. board but you should. Diane does an excellent job defending her position and I attempt to defend mine. I think Diane and I are in agreement that we're stopping for now so that the S'cubies can read and judge it for themselves. Rae asked some questions about our positions and Diane and I both responded to them, adding to our arguments.
I highly suggest checking out the debate if only for Diane's take on the subject.
I hope you enjoy!

// If you ask me, Alyson ALWAYS looks amazing. I'll bet she's one of those people who simply looks hot with bedhead and no makeup in the morning. // Ahh, David, I just got a great picture in my head of you waking up in the morning next to Alyson and not caring about her bedhead. Rae Hanson

//Ahh, David, I just got a great picture in my head of you waking up in the morning next to Alyson and not caring about her bedhead. // I wouldn't be caring about her bedhead, or much of anything else in this world, either. You've just realized one of my greatest fantasies, to roll over in bed on a lazy Sunday morning, the birds are chirping and a stream a light is coming through the skylight, illuminating us -- myself and Alyson Hannigan -- as we lay there, bathed in light and sateen. I wake her slowly by gently kissing the small of her back, and then whispering in her ear, "This one time, at band camp ...." David Crenshaw

Spring, Thank you. I appreciate the feed back. I'm almost ready to post my next chapter. I'm not totally happy with it, but I have to stop procrastinating.
I'll probably get it to Vlad tomarrow. One more chapter after that should get me to some stuff I've already written, plus I'll be able to stick the somewhat gratuitous 'Spike in Kilts' bit in where it belongs.

I've been lurking, but I think I'm going thru pre-withdrawl withdrawl. I know I just need to jump back in.
It's hard to catch up with all the nightcrawer postings. I think Vlad is siring some of you guys so he has somebody to play with when he wakes up. Fess up.
