//I have a terrible sense of direction. I'd probably have to ask James to point it out for me.// Oh, please, Rusty -- like you'd have to ASK.

Everyone knows we are all going to hell for this discussion right? I mean, Aly is a taken woman. Michelle is WAAAY to young for anyone but me to mention in this context again or I swear to Joss, David, I will gouge out my eyes. And as for the James nekid thoughts, you ladies should know better than to be so lustful and passionate. Those things have no place in a lady. Yep. Those Parents Watch groups were right. BtVS has corrupted our minds with sin.

I'm afraid I wouldn't qualify for the same standing ovation as Ally Hannigan.

While I am sure you are being too modest, I haven't seen and can't say. What I can say is this: Rusty made me laugh! Rusty made me laugh! That's for your continually witty comments sprinkled throughout this SSS Part.

The spirit is strong, but the flesh .... likes to watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer, with it's sex, violence and former preachers turned evil entities. Yep, we're all going to burn in hell. I'll try to save everyone else a really good seat up front ....

//I'm afraid I wouldn't qualify for the same standing ovation as Ally Hannigan.// Don't get too down on yourself, Rusty. Sometimes, all it takes is female. I'm reminded of a starlet that once was sharing what a famous actor once told her before the two had to film a passionate love scene together. He said, "If I get an erection, I'm sorry. And if I don't get an erection ... I'm sorry."

Too early? Too late? Too gay? Too straight? Nonsense, it's always a good time for nekkid James! In a crypt, in a basement, even strapped to a giant wheel! It's always a good time to give nekkid James a feel! ...Yeah, they really ought to find some way to make and distribute Nekkid James (TM). Mr. Marsters himself would be able to afford a gold plated swimming pool in two weeks time.

You guys are killing me! With all due respect to Rob and other Xander-philes, why does the sight of Nick strapped to a wheel have not quite the same effect as James strapped to a wheel? This place IS active at night. Forgive me, I've had a few drinks at the local watering hole -- this is my last stop before bed. I'm revising my whole view of good vs. evil in the Buffyverse given recent events on AtS. With any luck, it may even be essay-worthy before long. Jasmine made a great case this week for it not being about good and evil, it's about the power. So many teasing connections between AtS and BtVS almost, but not quite, coming together. Devourer. It's about the power. Willow saying "It's all connected." Sometimes, when I am out hiking on trails and I'm getting tired and think I can't go on any longer, I think of complicated issues in the Buffyverse, or start singing songs from OMWF to myself, and it keeps me going. This is me under the influence of alcohol. I'm going now. I'll laugh at myself tomorrow. You can all laugh at me now. xoxo Marianne

Hey Joshua, Dr. Suess would be proud. And for some reason, I'm now imagining James Marsters naked and smothered in green eggs and ham ..... Wonder how the ladies feel about green eggs and ham NOW, Sam I Am ....

//With all due respect to Rob and other Xander-philes, why does the sight of Nick strapped to a wheel have not quite the same effect as James strapped to a wheel?// That's a good question, Athene, considering that there isn't a single woman I can think of in the Buffyverse who when I imagine them strapped to the wheel doesn't aid me in pointing Rusty in the direction home. Buffy, Willow, Anya, Glory, Jenny Calendar, Fred, Cordy, Joyce Summers, Darla, Lilah Morgan, Drusilla, Amy Madison ... God help me, even Dawn. Nope, not a one. In the words of Xander, I'm sick. I need help.

OK I'm starting to envision a whole line of Nekkid James products including one of those stand up cardboard figures. We'd probably have about a week until the restraining order was filed, less if we posted them on ebay. It's so hard to exploit someone's privates for profit anymore.
