I'll go with the "nerdy, geeky, lame spouter....cause you care about that person's opinion of you. The other person actually sounds like they would enjoy it and if you were clsoer to them, you would probably try to drag them along. Vlad, the wise I am now officially afraid of you. Lola

I am going shopping for a new stove tomorrow. I had to buy a new tape measure this weekend, because the old one was that retractable, locking type, and it kept getting locked and stuck - and I had to measure the opening I have for the stove.
Anyhow, as I stood in the hardware store aisle, looking at the dazzling array available for selection, I kept thinking of the S'cubies, for some reason.
And just to keep this on topic, I think a measuring tape would come in very handy on the island for building and such.
I must soon depart for beddy-bye.

Yes - also - butterfly vs moth comparison by Locke (butterfly gets the attention, but moth is actually stronger and swifter - something like that) And Charlie's "brother" saying he was the pretty one out front who would get the attention, but Charlie was the one who had the song-writing/musical talent. By the way: Did everyone think they were actually brothers? I had this feeling they were just calling themselves brothers, thought of themselves as brothers - but weren't actually brothers. And how about Charlie being so religious? Nice touch and nice depth added to the character. That confession scene was great. I think they were actually brothers. For some reason, I flashed on that band Oasis, especially since one was named Liam.

WTF!?! Okay, my money's on Locke being the bash brother. *sigh* Much as I hate to think about it, mine, too. But since that's the obvious answer, I'm gonna set a side bet that we'll be wrong.

I don't think it would be Locke. My money's on either Sawyer or the crazy French lady. I heart Charlie. Not Sawyer, unless he got someone else to set that rocket off for him, right?

Charlie so sweet. And Charlie has found people to look out for him. Jack wasn't realizing how important it was for Charlie to feel useful and important. Who thought that the cave-in was related to Charlie's anger? Coincidence, or related? My vote goes to related...although part of me wonders if Locke didn't ask the island to do it for him, so that Charlie'd have a cocoon to push his way out of.

The Island misunderstood him: He said "I'm a bloody rock god!" and the Island heard "I want to be bloodied by rocks, god!" and obliged....

I haven't decided yet which one I like better. I love an engineer, especially when he looks as good as Sayid in an open shirt. But Sawyer also comes off as very smart and you just know he's going have those attractive redeeming characteristics underneath the bad-boy thing. I'm just curious here: It may be jealousy of his prettiness talking, but what if Sawyer is just a complete, unredeemable asshole? I mean, what if he's just a jerk? *ducks and runs for cover*

I mean, what if he's just a jerk? *ducks and runs for cover* then he'll need someone who can love him in spite of himself. besides, he's already not a complete unredeemable asshole. He has proved it.

Admittedly, it's sorta vestigial, but it does serve a purpose, much like our tonsils: Don't need 'em, can actually cause a problem, but they DO do something and we are better off leavin' them alone until they cause one.. Vlad Is it just me, or does the bolded word look kinda dirty?
