Well, so much for all those fun theories. Made for a more interesting interim, though.

Not exactly one of the most exciting eps we've ever seen. True. Covers the basics of what happened to them, and explained some of the warpedness of Ana-L and Misternko, but they'd covered most of that in the other stuff, previous episodes, in the storytelling.

There was a fight? I am bummed not to have seen any of our regulars. You were saying? I already saw all that before - I mean, nothing new at all for our regulars. The episode just bored me stupid. But you all don't me hanging around here criticizing the show - it's neither fun, nor useful. I don't think I can hang in there anymore with this show though. It's just not for me.

It's like friggin' clockwork, I swear. Last week they both walked in front of the t.v. with 5 minutes left. Big emotional scene, Shannon breaking down in Sayid's arms, my dad decides he needs to look out the back door. Maybe when Jan comes through for a visit I can get her to talk to them about this issue... We've got these electronic collars you can slip on them when they're sleeping.

Ooooh! Tailies landed in the water. Same panic, same confusion and death and distruction. Oh, and same examples of a few taking the lead and saving others, etc.
Ana L is their Jack and Mr Eko os their Locke, perhaps?

OK, maybe psychologist med student is their Jack. And Ana L is their . . . person with secrets. Like Kate. Or Sawyer. Or Charlie. Oh, she's Kawrlie!
Ooooh, and Bernard ended up in a tree!! Ana L is good in a crisis.
They think they'll be rescued too. Poor sods.
And Bernard wonders about the rest of the plane too.
Scary noise, like the first guys and the monster. But, Mr Eko?! ?! With a bloody rock? So he fought off the others from the start?

So they were attacked from the start. Taking the curly haired guy and so on.
Huh. The same fight over the beach versus someplace else. The same suspiciously convenient plane employee to tell them the aren't going to be found. The same wounded guy whose gonna die from an infection.
And now, the struggle to get food. Hey, they have chickens!! Cool! But not as much meat as a boar.
What, no one takes watch?! The did go for the kids first, didn't they? But they took big people too. Unless they were taking bodies.
A list? A list of who they didn't take?

Oh, duh. A list of the nine people they did take.
So they do have a mole. Like Ethan. And they don't have a passenger manifest to check. That's extremely scary.
Huh. Just like our guys, they settle in a natural spot - after some disagreements.
Maybe the guy they put in the pit is a spy, but I'm not sure. Therapist whats her name is a little too . . .
And Ana L is heading off to become the dictator we already know.
If I were a savage I would have cut off his finger already. That's tomorrow.
So, is the guy she said that to a spy too? Or rather, a spy instead?
Yep. I was right!! He's the evil guy.
Now, did she suspect that and say what she did to smoke him out?

Good point on the last one.. but no, I don't think she did: I think she was fixed on Nathan because of his two-hour bathroom break.... And Libby's the therapist: Cindy was the Australian Stewardess cave-bait.

Hmmmmmm. Or maybe Nathan was one of the Others and this killer guy is just . . . a killer guy. Who was sick of the dilemna and wanted it done. Nah. He's gotta be an Other. No real reason to kill otherwise. He killed to make you keep thinking Nathan was the guy. They found their bunker a lot easier that our group. Same bunker stuff, though. OK, electricity? People! If there's electricity, then someone is supplying it. Oh, oh. A radio. Someone's gonna get wacked on the head. Don't let that guy go to higher ground himself! He's gonna get wreck the radio! Um. But don't go with him just yourself, either. Eliminating threats. Well, that would explain why they went for Mr Eko first. And they want the kids because they are wacked out baby and kid stealers. Ana L. Figuring out the knife thing. So, did you take him up here to flush him out. She knows about knives, so for sure she's their Locke. Yup. Ask him about running out of the jungle. Get him, Ana! He thinks he can take her. But he's wrong. She'll take you out, buddy. They want the "good people"?! And the children are better off now. Oh yeah. She got him. But I bet she wishes she could have gotten some more info out of him. We're safe here now. Yay!!! The other side of the transmission that Boone heard!! Oh, Ana L. You're letting this pull you farther than you need to. Bernard believes there may be others, like Rose. Ana says "this is our life now". And we see the toll this is all taking on her. But this is why Mr Eko goes along with her. He knows her "insides". It's gonna be OK. You waited 40 years to cry. Mr Eko is their mystical Locke guy. ;D

And now we see the scenes we knew, but from the other side. Speedy catch up style. Cool!
And Ana did shoot Shannon. Ah, well. And killed her, according to the previews.
Things are just gonna get even more . . . interesting, aren't they?
;D

I should have remembered that Cindy was the one "missing".

Taking must have happened just before dawn... Cindy? She a stewardess? Huh. Serves the convenient plot device of telling them that they are SCREWED. She's hardened already, in response to it.. Huh.. digging that many graves is hard work without tools.. Day 7 OOH! Chicken! Well, hope it was a rooster.. So that's where he got his rep for silence. I mean, that and the other 41 days. Day 12.. nice of them. Huh.. maybe THIS guy is their "Ethan Rom" That's a lot of creepy zombies. I'd think they'd have ahd someone on watch.. but it was eleven days, so they might have lost the wash of fear.. Yay for convenient rocks! HELL YEAH! a knife!! Riches beyond their dreams! List of what? "Nine of us" what, names? Or did the shopping list just say "need nine assorted beach fugitives for zombie dinner" or something? **snicker** I like it. Nine assorted beach folk, please. Make sure they're nice and juicy. ;D

No Jack, no Locke, no supplies, no medicine. Our guys have it easy. Who the hell are the others? A list? They know who they want to take in advance? Yeah. I was thinkin' that too. Our folk had it pretty good.

Ah. Names, and descriptions. Ooh! She cottons on quick!! I'd trust bitchy's instincts. This whole island is less than sane. Day 15! I wonder if she's a cop, back in the world. Day 17! (running through them quick) Nathan is their Ethan. Maybe he's Rom's brother. So she dug the pit they were kept in all by herself? Day 19 Well, she's decisive. Day 23 Four days of torture? ah somebody is feeding him. He's a lot like a force of nature, there. No answers and sorta inexorable. Good point on the finger. Heh! "That's tommorow" Last mistake you are ever gonna make buddy.. NICE TWIST!!! (pun unintentional) Ana was right about a spy, but wrong about who. Wonder why...He didn't have the opportunities the other guy did... Makes me wonder why Ethan's crew didn't take people like these folks were taken. None of "our" people are "good" people? There are two different sets of Others and they work differently? They are based over by where the Tailenders landed and only sometimes go over to "our" side, so that Ethan was working almost alone - like a scout? That's why he was trekking through the jungle when he took Claire and Charlie and crew followed him and why she was able to get away - 'cuz he wasn't back with the COTB yet? Hmmmmmmm.
