Heh.. snark between them on the girl. Heading north? Maybe to contact the CFL? I hadn't thought of that. Interesting idea. ;D Bad daddy is sometimes right. Perceptive and clever and a wee bit manipulative.

Good that Jin and Sun are talking. They're getting to issues they need to talk about. They need to find a new way of being together - each of them needs to change and adjust. Wow. Hawaii very pretty. (Locke and Sawyer and Jack and Kate walking down the grassy hill - very pretty.) Ah, the uncomfortable chat with the wife. Points for telling her about the kiss right up front. Ah - this is a comparison scene! Comparing Jin and Sun with Jack and whats her name! But I don't think Jack's getting a happy ending. Yup. Mom was helping her pack. Ooooh! She's been seeing someone else. You will always need something to fix. Ouch!! Very true and very very ouch. Now, Kate's gonna blame herself and I think Jack will blame her a bit too. But I don't know that there would have been a radically different end result without her. Yes!!!!!!!!! Jack!!!!! Now that is an organized response to being on this island, threatened by unknown forces!! Did bearded guy ever say they had Michael? Or did he just imply that? 'Cuz I think they don't. I think Michael is still out there heading after Walt. I'd disagree on that, with the tenseness that they've been having. Confess it, yes, but not in the middle of the awkwardness and everything going on. They BOTH confessed to feel better in themselves, not out of concern for what the partner was feeling: While I agree he needed to tell her, I don't think that was the time: turns out the point was moot, but....

I wonder who Jack's wife's been seeing, and if it'll tie into the story somehow.....//thinking way too far ahead//

The patient's daughter who is so flirty with Jack looks quite a bit like Kate. I am not taping this, but I kinda wish I was, because I am "not understanding" quite a bit of dialogue. I keep wanting to ask, "What? What did he say?" but I don't think the dogs are going to answer me. How do you know for sure? You should try asking. ;D OK. I tried asking - but both poochies had fallen asleep. They tell me that unless Vincent's on screen, they're totally bored.

Three casings doesn't mean four more might not be elsewhere. Brass can be hard to find. "I'm out here, Sawyer, because I've got Issues dating back to my childhood" and now we get to see some. Damn. Italiadaddy died. Doc Shepard Sr. was right to tell her: Jack might have fallen into the "comforting the grieving" trap. Yep, well, a month in the hospital gives you a long time to stalk someone you find stalk-worthy... And there, the floor gives way underneath him. *sigh* "I have to run like a litttle girl now, Gabrielle, rather than comfort you" Better choice, really. Hi, dead Daddy!!! or was that one of the pirates? #rofl1# #rofl1# #rofl1#

Ok - I may be crazy. But those eyes on that bearded guy looked like Jack's dad's eyes. All this comparison to Jack's dad is totally creeping me out. I mean, his body wasn't ever found, was it?

Kate needs to stop puppy-dogging Jack. Oh, that's such a cute little baby. Ana is a better match for Jack. She hasn't got the starry-eyed "you're my hero" thing going, and he's already had that with his wife. I think that's what he's rejecting in Kate. He knows if he's a white knight on a horse, he's eventually going to fall off the horse. Good point. I also think that he's most likely very wary, given Sarah's betrayal, of competing for another woman's affections--especially since he didn't fare so well the first time around. Hell, he might not believe, in his heart of hearts, that he has a chance of making the story end any differently now.

Interesting how Sawyer just stops the snark when he needs to. He can talk to Locke in a practical manner when he needs to. Oh, I think he's there for Michael and for himself and to just try to make sure the Others don't get another one of them. And the old man died. Both the old man and the woman understood the risks, Jack. They wanted to try. Ha! I knew he was gonna end up kissing her or having an affair or something! Ooooooooooooooooooh!! The grizzled bearded Other guy!!!! And he knows their names!!!! He's a fan!!!!LOLOLOL! A groupie! I know how he feels. Grizzled bearded Other guy was hiding it well, but he sooooooo wants to be part of their group. All the threatening and hostility was a dead give away. They're the "in group" of the island and he's being all "nya nya, I don't care".

They should've stayed up! They missed Vincent's cameo appearance there at the end. Interesting that the dog has glommed on to Ana Lucia. Is that some kind of a sign. First Walt, then Shannon, now Ana? ETA: Vincent is the Poochie Reaper!

Gabriela was hot for Jack from the start. She did her research. I wonder what else she found out about him other than he had a wife. She's a medical stalker.

Uh, maybe you need to play the Geronimo Jackson, if you've never heard of it before: purloined letter. Heh. Hurley sees the possible Libby chemistry... "Everyone" is interesting. And so here we go with the pirates parleying. Uh, a desert Island is not your "house" asshat. Huh. "LET you live on it" "Don't believe you" hee! Bearded guy's a chessman. And he's got the better board position, looks like. "No" So why is Jack NEEDing to cross the line? And so that's where Kate got to. Was afraid it was something like that. Oh christ, what a position. I hate bullys, terrorists SO much. Damn. No guarantees that he won't kill her anyways. And of course Locke would have a holdout (personally, I think he's got two). Huh. Gives them back Kate. "you allright?" while not looking at her. Purloined Letter is a Geronimo Jackson song? Does anyone know the lyrics?

BIG island. you can see one part of the ocean from where they are inland, because they were not heading directly away from the water, towards the center of the land. At least that's my take on it... Well - you have to make some assumptions there, but it could work. I just don't like it, because it . . . it bugs me. Sayid! We haven't had nearly enough Sayid this season. Not enough Sayid! Must have more Sayid! Preferably half naked - in the water - and lolling on the sand.
