Thanks for the nice review, Lola. Entertaining and enlightening . . . what more can you ask for? I very much enjoyed reading it, and you made a number of connections I'd missed the first time around (the juxtaposition of Sun and Jin's conversation with the ending of Jack's marriage, for example). Nicely done. A great observation Spring, particularly in light of last week's religion-centric episode; Jack Shepherd's inability to accept that some things are beyond his control is such a contrast to Eko's acceptance of that very notion, not to mention his belief that such power lies with a shepherd of a very different sort. Man, I hope that makes sense--my brain is barely functioning today. Thanks, Sara! I meant to comment earlier on your post about Zeke BOG calling out Alex's name as the person to bring out Kate. Very good point!!

I found an interesting theory on one Russian board. Russo's baby was a girl (she refer to her baby as "her" - click the pic to see the subtitle) And one of the Others on the boat is a woman (it's difficult to tell her age - but still) Could she be Russo's baby?

It would really make sense, wouldn't it? This would also mean that either A) Alex is pretty important/respected in the group, being right in the thick of things both times or B) the group is really small and the folks we saw on the boat when they took Walt is pretty much all they have. Or both.

From the orientation film in Orientation: The Dharma Initiative was created in 1970 and it is the brainchild of Gerald and Karen DeGroot, two doctoral candidates at the University of Michigan. Following in the footsteps of visionaries such as B.F. Skinner [blip] imagined a large scale communal research compound where scientists and free thinkers from around the globe could pursue research in meteorology, psychology, parapsychology, zoology, electromagnetism, and utopian social [blip] I think BOG is Gerald DeGroot and the blonde on the boat is Karen DeGroot.

Oooooooooooooooooooooh! The DeGroots! Of course!!!! This would be an excellent solution!! And the pictures really do seem to match.
