Before the episode even begins I'm gonna offer a prediction--I think Sayid and Ana Lucia worked out exactly how they were going to interact with Henry when they got back to camp, with Sayid continuing in the role of loose cannon with access to sharp instruments and Ana Lucia acting as the voice of reason who wants to help Henry out. Good cop/bad cop, Lost-style. And feel free to point at my post and laugh afterward if I turn out to be dead wrong.

I'm going to keep mine simple: Bogus Henry = Dave.

I've heard a theory about compulsive eating being the reason Hurley was institutionalized. Sounds plausible and intriguing, so I'm behind that one until proven wrong.

Who else is thinking no one else can see Dave? Is he The First? Let's watch and see if he picks up anything.

OK - Dave picking up a coconut when only Hurley can see him doesn't count.

Yikes! Poor Hurley.
Now - he said he was taking Clonazepam (I think was what he said), which - that's not a anti-psychotic. But Hurley seems to have problems well beyond anxiety and compulsive eating . . . I mean, compulsive eating is just a symptom. He delusional, having hallucinatory experiences . . .Clozaril is an anti-psychotic, and being off it could bring hallucinations back . . . well . . . I am not an expert on this stuff by any means, so I suppose a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
The whole hallucinatory experience and the way it drives behavior and functionality is being well-portrayed, so that's the important part.
Hurley is just a great character all around.
