Before I go to bed, I just thought of something - why was the ep called "three minutes?" Was there a reference to "three minutes" that I missed?
Just throwing that out there.
OK. Really to be now.

So he's been tied up for ten days? I was wondering about the timing of that too. The specialty of the Others. Seem to mean that either not!Henry or the BIG crew aren't telling the truth, or the whole truth. And thus we learn why the title. ;D Interesting how much the Others know about all these folks, eh?

The Evil Pediatrician, Ms. Klugh, told Michael that he had "three minutes" with Walt. Then Walt was all spilling stuff he shouldn't have and they cut him off early.

Really!! Um. And we haven't seen enough stripped down and wet Sayid. Or Sayid oiled up. Or Sayid posing pensively in the jungle. **waits expectantly** Until we do: Guh is the word, that's for sure. As is #thud#

More funerals. Locke lurking on the beach, away from the rest.. And his leg's healed up after three, four days? Where's he wandering to? Locke becoming mystery guy again, perhaps? YES!! Totally. And the glance between Hurley and Michael could also be taken several ways . . . I really liked these funerals. The ones for Boone and Shannon were a bit . . . "meh" for me, but these were just right. I know!!! OMGWTFPOLARBEARSAILBOAT!!!!!1!!eleventyone!

Eko has apparently become religiously enraptured with the button-pushing. Locke has passed the torch onto him. ETA: Locke has also taken off just like Desmond did after he passed pn the button pushing task. Huh. Ooooooooooohhhh! That's a very interesting thought . . . .

Until they brought Walt to Michael and said he had only "3 minutes" with him, I was thinking it had something to do with the countdown in the hatch and how Eko typed in the numbers as it was at just over 3 minutes to go . . . and that it almost seemed like the counter flipped over even before he finished. And then they said the thing about Walt. Except I'm still not convinced it doesn't have more than one meaning.

Aaaargh!
I set my tape wrong and so did not tape either Alias or Lost! What's worse is that I was actually home for Lost but thought, no, I'll watch it on the tape later. Darn it!
Would someone mind giving a recap? Please?!

Would someone mind giving a recap? Please?! I... uh.. Huh. Michael got caught handily by the others, and they sent him back with a laundry list of people to bring back: Jack, Hugo, Sawyer, and Kate. Sayid figures he's been compromised and warns Jack, and tells him that they have another night to come up with another plan to deal with the fact that he thinks Michael is going to lead them into a trap. They bury Ana-Lucia and Libby, Then everyone turns around and sees a sailboat. There was other stuff, involving a touching moment between claire and charlie, Charlie tossing the smack out to sea, and some slasheriffic stuff between jack and Sawyer, where Sawyer calls him "the closest thing I have to a friend now" And more stuff I can't quite remember.. You can download the episode, tomorrow, for free, off of ABC.com!

Thanks, Matthew.
I was starting to pick up a few things by reading the thread, but they were rather jumbled and confusing. These boards are loads of fun after watching the show but rather maddening after missing it.
I hadn't thought about downloading it. Thanks for reminding me.

"I think Michael has been compromised" "Keep walking Jack" I LOVE it that that they've got an experienced intelligence agent on their side. LISTEN to Sayid. <snipped> BOAT!? BOAT!!! SHIT! BOAT!!!!!! OMGWTFSAILBOAT! I love that about Sayid, too. I KNEW he wasn't buying it, and I cheered when he told Jack what he was thinking. I also loved the Jack/Sawyer exchange. ;D I'll be trolling the net (heh, heh--the net) for some new fic the next few days.... And, OMGWTFBBQSAILBOAT!1!1!!1!

Random thoughts:
1. Interesting that Vincent leads Charlie to the heroin once the solo church-building started. Almost as if the dog decided Charlie was ready to take a key step in his recovery.
2. That little anecdote Eko chooses to share with Michael was supposed to give us a strong impression Eko at least senses what occurred in that hatch, yes? I don't claim to understand the new agenda...but my guess is Eko's got some sort of plan beyond blind faith in the Code.
3. I watch every episode of this show, yet still most things slip right past me. Is it wise for Charlie to be giving inoculations to Claire and Aaron without...oh, I don't know...consulting the DOCTOR first?!
4. "Lost" is the rarest of breeds: a cult-style television show that has developed a mass following. I don't think we've seen the like since "Twin Peaks" commanded the nation's attention, if only for a year or so. This thought has nothing to do with the episode itself, by the way...just pointlessly sharing.
5. The Emmy noms are going to be extremely crowded this season, especially in the male Drama acting categories (House, Sopranos, Grey's Anatomy, Deadwood, The Shield, Prison Break, and Boston Legal immediately spring to mind)...but I still believe a great injustice will have been done if Jorge Garcia doesn't get official recognition. I'm not necessarily saying he should win - I'd give the trophy to Enrico Colantoni, personally - but Garcia easily deserves a nomination. If someone displayed more range on a television series this season, I'd love to hear about it.
Still not holding my breath on the wish-list, though.
