Oh, yeah. A thought just occurred to me. What if Sawyer is the one getting conned? Yeah. Comes too soon after Kara's NotDaughter. I'm going to be suspicious of all secret children on tv after that. Obviously, I am, too.

Funny that two of the characters on Lost were on Deadwood--the one who got shot, and the one who visited Sawyer in prison.
Sawyer had them put the money in a bank in Albuquerque for his maybe daughter--wasn't that where Kate robbed a bank?
Desmond has Powers--and now Charlie knows it. Guess Des will get a little more respect now.
Especially if he keeps wearing that nifty blue shirt.

And we're back at the camp. Desmonds setting up a transmitter? Yep, a storm. Is this the beginning of monsoon season? What the hell was that? And cut to Sawyer going for a walk. Nice. Albequerque (sp?) Cementine Phyllis. That's his daughter? Clementine Phillips. Daughter of him and the woman he was working the Long Con on, in the guise of teaching her how to con someone else. Well, he WAS reading it: I guess he just left it behind in the prison library. They haven't been all the way around the Island yet, or they'd have known about the foot. I'm guessing that the Village of the Darned is on the Main Island, and the Hydra station is on Palla Island (and I'm calling it that only because of the Palla Island Ferry mentioned in the Pearl video). Because if the village is on Palla Island, well, Goodwin ran on water. OR UNDERNEATH IT!! SUBWAYS!!!!

So, good ep. I liked it, even through the disturbing parts. Sawyer wearing his hair like that in the flashbacks bothered me. Mostly because it makes him look a lot like someone from my past I'd be better off not thinking about. Jack doing his surgeon thing. Monnie likes that a lot. #liplick# God, I'm so shallow.

We've been seeing her in minor roles in a lot of shows lately. She must have one of those contracts that says shes gets to be in everything for five minutes.

He's reading "Of Mice and Men". Heeee! How fitting, with the whole bunny theme. And then there's the oh so perfect shot of the two of them walking down the corrider. ;D Yup. There's the con - make the mark think he's convincing you. Sawyer being cowed is what scares Kate. Kate being hurt is what scares Sawyer. She tells him she just said she loved him to get the guy to stop hitting him and breaks back into her cage. Well. They're all nicely jumping through the Others' hoops. "Danny can wait" to kill Sawyer, eh? Oh, yeah. This is a real democratic community alright. And Benry is not the boss of anyone. Benry wants Jack to sit with which "her"? The body, or Juliette? 'Cuz I don't think sitting with a body will bother him. "I don't care about making you feel better." #smirk# Sometimes I really love Jack. I tell ya. The contrarian part of me? Would so resent every single mind game these guys are doing that they could never ever ever ever win them over to my side. I'm so dug in to my dislike of the Others that they could show them using all lab rat stuff to cure cancer and bring about world peace and I'd still dislike them. So there! ;D Whose x-rays indeed? "I just 'happen' to be a spinal surgeon." Is this a legitimate thing that Jack just figured out, or a new mind game? I lean toward legitimate, 'cuz I think that Juliette really wasn't supposed to bring Jack there. But I could be wrong about that. Because of the whole doubt thing. Ooooh - Desmond built a lightning rod to aim the bolt away from the baby's roof! Cool!! He's . . . hey! He's the professor! Now we really will get to see a coconut radio. So, Sawyer and the Warden were in on it, but for the Feds. And you can see Sawyer really resenting being "brought to heel" by them. So, I guess that's supposed to let us know that he will also try to lie and cheat his way out of the island prison? That perhaps he may appear to cooperate, but resents it? "Don't you read?" is a nicer insult than he knows, what with the whole "I don't want you in my book club " thing earlier. #smirk# Of course, no real pacemaker. And all to enforce the control brought by never knowing what's real and what's not. And he thinks this will gain a con man's respect? Boy. I hope that's another lie, or Benry is waaaaaay dumber than I thought. You don't gain a con man's respect by conning him. You gain his hatred. You gain his respect by working with him on a con he wants to do. Oooh, that book insult did hit home (like the fist that, oddly, actually seemed to surprise Benry). 'Cuz he wouldn't have so deliberately and snottily quoted back at him if it hadn't stung.

Clementine Phillips. Daughter of him and the woman he was working the Long Con on, in the guise of teaching her how to con someone else. Ah. Ah again. I missed that. OK. Palla Island Ferry, right. Sayid, Sun, and Jin got part of the way around the island, and saw the foot and the dock. But if they didn't see the island those things are aren't in view of the other island. And they can't see the other island from either plane crash site. The Others village has to be on the Losties island, right. Cause they saw the plane separate above them and Goodwin and Ethan ran to the crash sites. The team that stole the boat came from Hydra station somehow. Probably through tunnels, so could be tunnels to either island, like Hydra station is in between the two islands. Or something.

I don't remember recognizing her in "The Long Con," so I don't remember her as the one he conned in that one. But I recognized her immediately tonight. Like I knew Trixi played Colleen. And goodnight, Sweetie. And goodnight all other S'cubies. *covets Sara's dragging the blankey off to bed smiley*

A drain? Ah electrocution. Of course, the Others are listening to the whole thing. We gotta take care of us. I can see where this is going to go wrong. Sawyer was a boxer? Oh, this is prison. "your buddy" the warden. Hey, It's That Guy! betting games inside the prison. Again, where does this fit into Locke's backstory timeline? Sawyer is 35. Yep, the power is turned off. WTF? It's been 2 days since the season 2 finale. The whatever has all their systems down. Sawyer tied down. Again it's lost on me. #rofl1# "Lost" on you, eh? ;D

And the reading party that took the sailboat, I think they were on the sub mentioned earlier... I just figured Sayid and Jin and Sun hadn't got far enough around the island to see the other island.

Stranger things have happened here... ;D

So, whatis he gonna do, flood his way out? AH!!! Zappies!!!!! Too bad he's under audio and video observation. "ain't gonna be ready for it" well he is, now. **nods** If nothing else, I had been hoping that would make them wise up that they were being observed. But, from later actions, I worry that they haven't. Yet, how could you not expect that was the case? The Sawyer wumping was pretty much non-stop in this ep, wasn't it? Yeah, I think he thinks he's playing a role to fit into their mind games. But I think that is really him. I hope he does. But then when Kate was breaking out, I couldn't tell if they didn't realise it, or did they just think she neede to move fast, or were they acting the whole thing out for the cameras? **nods**
