Sawyer, you really are a total idiot. She handed you a second chance on a silver platter, for cryin' out loud. And you're surprised by this because . . . ? ;D

Huh. So he bought the Chicken shack. And that's the Tricia Tanaka of the title. He doesn't interview well. Ah. The bad luck has already started. Johnny ran off with Starla? So his friend has left him, and this is the Randy that's gonna be the manager at the box factory? Oooh, I hadn't put that together! Totally. Heck, whenever someone counts to three now, I stop at the one and go, what, you're actually gonna go to three? Dude, really. She's just pop-culturally challenged. I wonder if she was more thinking about letting the kid they rescued go. But I kinda agree with you in the not seeing what to apologise. Unless you want to go the route of his language lessons to Jin and think that the basic answer is just to apologise for anything/everything, even if you're not sorry or don't even know why. ;D

OMG. Jin's little eyebrow raise when Hurley shouted "I understand!" Hee! That was perfect! I love seeing the old gang again. And they ran out of Fruity Dharma Oat Bars! Heee! Brainshare. I love how snooty everyone's getting about the food now. ;D

CFL is my guess as well. Cause there is beer! Hooked on phonics. Dad is a bum to come back now. waiting for the other shoe to drop, Hurley's luck wont stay good for long, even though he deserves some good luck. He's so perky and now we know he's putting that perky face on over a very sad and scared inner Hurley. I hope things do keep going well, but I don't have a lot of confidence in that either.

Solid gold Jesus on the lazy susan. "Need a manly influence"? "The livestock, and I'm starting with him" "It's been 17 years. I have needs" Oh my oh my. He saved it intact. Oh lord, poor hugo... So sweet. So hopeful, even while trying to look like he wasn't hoping his dad would come back. Oh, I forgot about that one! Great line. With that crazy island magic!

Heee! He bought the chicken shack. And is not being exactly what they want in a puff piece for the news. "I like chicken" followed by all the bad things that have happened? So not maing Tricia Tanaka happy. But then, looking at the title of the ep, I'm guessing that won't be an issue for much longer. OMGWTFBBQMISSILE?!? What was that? Did someone shoot down Hurley's chicken shack?!! ?! ?!!!!"We're out of Dharma ho bars." ;D A line that will echo down the ages. And Sun is taking a hard line to teach Jin more English. Damn, that's harsh. I mean, yeah, immersion is the fastest way to learn a language, but maybe set some boundaries, some time when he can speak with you in Korean. Or am I being too much of a softy? A car! We can totally fix it! It'll be fun! The gang is not buying it. Except Jin. Who doesn't quite know what is going on and also probably just want to get away from Sun for a while. ;D Kate and Sawyer. A dart? Whose dart? Worrying, so close to camp. The non-apology and non-bonding over Little House on the Prairie. ;D First we had adorable child!Hurley and now I have visions of adorable child!Sawyer. So good to see their warm welcome at their home camp. Plus, the two of them, over? Yeah. Like I'll believe that one. HEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! Engineers are working on a chicken-shack seeking missile... It was only a matter of time . . .

Hurley is indeed Little Miss Sunshine tonight. LOL! Man, I'm loving the relative lightness of this episode. The past episodes have been so oppressively dark, figuratively and literally. Eetah! Totally and completely in love with this ep.

LOL! Man, I'm loving the relative lightness of this episode. The past episodes have been so oppressively dark, figuratively and literally. Eetah! Totally and completely in love with this ep. Yeah, light as all get-out! Only two people died in the course of the actual episode! And they died entertainingly. For us, I mean. I'm sure that Tricia and her cameraman wouldn't have been all that amused if they'd had time to reflect on their flaming death from the heavens. Too bad Randy wasn't one of them. I wonder if my insurance pays off extra for "meteorite impact"? It's like, double if I buy a farm on public transportation, triple if I get taken out by public transportation that I'm not on, and if a beer truck (with an unauthorized passenger on board) kills me, I think they give the beneficiaries the brewery, but there's no special mention of meteorite impact.... </tangent>

Unless you want to go the route of his language lessons to Jin and think that the basic answer is just to apologise for anything/everything, even if you're not sorry or don't even know why. Myself, I figured she was referring to this exchange: SAWYER: Let's get back to camp. [Kate is annoyed but doesn't respond] Well, are you coming, or not?
KATE: Should I walk beside you, or ten paces behind you? You've gotten so good at telling me what to do, I can't think for myself anymore.
SAWYER: Don't take it out on me because you feel guilty.
KATE: I don't feel guilty.
SAWYER: The hell you don't.
KATE: We had to leave Jack behind. I didn't have a choice.
SAWYER: I'm not talking about leaving Jack behind. I'm talking about you and me. I know you did it because you thought I was dead man. So don't beat yourself because the Doc's left behind. Call me crazy, but if a guy I'd just had a pretty intense sexual encounter with later told me he figured I'd just taken pity on him and given him one for the road... well, I'd find that pretty insulting all the way around: it cheapens the event, implies what happened between us wasn't as meaningful to him as it was to me, and suggests he doesn't have a very high opinion of me or my morals. So, yeah, I'd be a little pissed at him too.

And I wouldn't be pissed at the guy, I guess I'd be thinking "wow, he is even more insecure than I realised, 'cuz he's trying to give me an easy way out to stop being with him and instead care about the guy he thinks I love instead of him". Um. If that sentence makes sense. Which, on looking at it, it does not. But I can't think of a better way to state it. ;D
