Heh! Hugo spanked him! LOCKE!! Dammit!! STOP playing the freaking game! Sayid, can't you salvage the explosives? Sayid! Did you TELL them about the explosives? Woohoo! Plans and Specs! Rousseau's right: he's got a good point. Amira again. And god, that's a beautiful cat. Ah, they're in Paris. I hope she beat the ever-loving crap out of those gutterpunks. And back to the story... "he will bite me or scratch me" "Forgets that he is safe now" Huh. My cat's never HAD any trauma, and she bites me and scratches me. I just thought it was a "cat" thing. She uses this elaborate story to try to get Sayid to admit something. But is he lying or is he telling the truth? DID he torture her, or is he just trying to give her what he thinks she needs, and is channeling his pain from others he tortured? Huh. So he DID torture her. She's releasing him as a deliberate breaking of the circle. Which has bearing on the decision with Mikhail right now. *sigh* He entered "77" You DUMBASS. Well, there goes ice. supplies. some clue as to what the hell is going on. So tha's why the cat haunted him. Nadia is the spirit and image of Amira's cat. all those who want to join me in beating Locke for being a total dumbass raise their hands now.... What the hell in the previews? Big inverted phalluses?

Matthew! Your chance to shine brightly, my man—translate! Mostly it was a back-and-forth of "You know what to do" and (I think) "Do you know what you are asking me to do?" No-one else gets it out there, I'll watch it on ABC online and get it transcribed. Eh, don't worry about it—I'm sure by morning they'll be dozens of translations.

And if looks could kill, Sayid's would have reduced Locke to a pile of smoldering ashes.

I think entering 77 sets off all that C-4... It sure did. Locke just can't help pushing the buttons to save his life.

Talk about your freaky coincidences. The actress who played Amira, Anne Bedian (also billed as Anne Nahabedian), appeared in an episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The name of that episode was "Shibboleth." I now draw your attention to this item from the Wiki entry about the number 77: "During World War II in Sweden at the border with Norway, "77" was used as a Shibboleth (password), because the tricky pronunciation in Swedish made it easy to instantly discern whether the speaker was native Swedish, Norwegian, or German." Whoa.

Ah, Hurley is the ping pong guy. Sawyer, you're gonna be grateful for that "mercy rule" thing. Either than or it's a clever ruse, 'cuz Hurley knows he is cursed to always get 11 points and then no more. ;D Sonar for the submarines and cable and blah blah we killed one . . . how long shall we play this game and let's move to the next stage. (Interesting word choices - games and stages.) Big fight, but Sayid and Kate end up winning, yay! Ah, now they want to torture Sayid back until he admits to torturing her. He admits to being there, but says he didn't torture her. Is he telling the truth? Is he lying because he knows they'll kill him if it was him? It is one of those "you didn't torture her, but you did torture others, so this is karmic payback" things? Ah. Noticed the saddled horse set up for someone else and found the trap door. Clever, clever Sayid! "Not every nook and cranny, John." ;D

#woot2# It sure did. Locke just can't help pushing the buttons to save his life. VERY good point.... Locke used to be one of my favorite characters, the whole deeper meaning thing, but they have really turned him into a drone. push the button, press this, do that, I am sorry but he went from one of my favorites, to one of my least favorites.

"I won't confess to something I didn't do." "My wife confessed to something she didn't do." Yes. This is the inherent problem with torture. Hmmmm. She stops it. Is she having second thoughts/memories? Is she feeling like, even if he did do it, the parallel to what she went through is too much? Explosives ready to go . . . doomsday prep, much? The game of evil is calllllling you, John, trying to seduce you away from your post. Don't do it, man!! The guy is faking still being out, don't you know that? Sayid finds the rule books. Not that I trust them, they're probably fakes or planted or something. John "wins" and gets his pellet like a good little button pushing rat. More meaningless old timey video. Codes and numbers and no helpful info at all!! Press 77 (or say) for hostile incursions. Press (or say) 2 for goats. ;D Aaaaand before he can hit 77, the guy gets him. Duh!!! Even I knew that was gonna happen, John. See what your button pushing addiction did, John? Aha! The "Other" woman from the dock! Action sequence, stand off, what will happen . . . Russian chatting and . . . bang! So, she told him to kill her? And he wants them to kill him? Because she/they don't want them to learn info from them (to parallel the torture Sayid flashback scenes)? Or because they can't get off the island and or get away from the Dharma people/Others and want to die? Or . . . . ?

And we enter on the flashback.. They don't want "truth" they want revenge. "Never touch a woman" What? Boiling oil. Ouch. "Enough for today" does she have another game? Convincing scars. That's what Andrea's (old friend of mine) skin all looked like. Watching over the tied-up prisoner while Sayid and Kate explore. Do NOT yield to the temptation to go play chess, Locke! The man has the control issues of a 3 year old, I swear!! Heeee! Totally, dude! Locke, Locke, Locke. What does it take to just have the guy take on one task and stick to it!

Locke has definitely been all about the "Don't tell me what I can't do." lately. He seems to have lost his purpose when he lost the computer that needed the numbers entered.
