I echo Rob's comments on Spring's review--and really enjoyed the points he made. This has the potential to be very powerful television as we explore these issues. I ask for season two and I truly hope the network doesn't tinker with Rob's vision. Thanks Bluesman. This show has grabbed me this season like nothing else currently on TV. I don't have BtVS-level love for it, but the potential is there and I will be very disappointed if we don't get a Season 2.

Couch Baron just posted his interview with Rob Thomas at TWoP. There are spoilers about upcoming storylines. That was wonderful. Most the the (semi) serious spoilers were on page 9 so I found pages 1-8 pretty safe. (Altho if you are totally spoiler phobic DONT read on my say so.) I'm just saying I'm not a fan of spoilers but I read the whole thing and other finding out generalities I don't feel like I've been spoiled for finding out any specifics. Page 9 however, also has all the pretty things about Jason Dohring. This is only the first half of the interview. Be sure to link us up when the second half comes out. Thanks.

And here is another link/essay for those of us who love VM: www.livejournal.com/users/wisteria_/470836.htmlalanna/wisteria (of Screen Caps fame) has an LJ entry titled: Veronica Mars: A Love Letter. Apparently she is also writing V/L fic. (Not sure I can read fanfic outside of the Buffy/Angel verse.)

I'm fairly critical on fan fic. It often fails to hit the right voice. But Alanna/Wisteria is a skilled author. Her Veronica/Logan story, based on the five stages of depression (four stages done) is an enjoyable read.

Couch Baron just posted his interview with Rob Thomas at TWoP. There are spoilers about upcoming storylines. Very good article - and very fascinating how it came about! Thanks for posting the link. Loved him saying "I see myself as a Northern Exposure writer in a C.S.I. world. . . " Lola

part 2 of Rob Thomas's TWoP interview is posted. There are some spoilers. <snip> thank you so much, wykbbb! i really enjoyed both parts of the interview, and i felt like some of my questions, and some of the board's questions, were answered in it (such as why some regular characters have consistently smaller roles than others). thanks again!

I get a new episode on Monday -- Betty & Veronica! Very stoked about it. Going with my wife, meeting a friend for dinner beforehand. Paley Center deal.

I kid because I love. Really. Not jealous at all. Nope. ;D Are you gonna post your thoughts on the spoilers thread? Because then I will have a very tough decision. But I love dilemnas like that. Lola

Because then I will have a very tough decision. But I love dilemnas like that. Lola I'll post general impressions of the episode in the Spoiler thread. And I'll outline the Paley event, how it went, whether it was worth it. No doubt, there will be other sites for those who need hard core spoilers.

Ratings from Zap2It
"R U the Girl with T-Boz & Chilli" scored a 1.8/3 for UPN, good enough to beat a "One Tree Hill" repeat on The WB.
UPN's "Veronica Mars" and The WB's "Smallville" tied for fifth.
the futon critic
R U the Girl With T-Boz & Chilli (households: 1.9/3, #13; adults 18-49: 1.2, #13) Veronica Mars (households: 1.2/2, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T15) Smallville (households: 1.1/2, #15; adults 18-49: 0.7, #14)
If I remember correct, it's the first time we beat Smallville.
One small step. I saw the end of R U that girl - and blech, blech and double blech.
Hopefully Top Model will bring some bigger coattails.
