Vlad, I think this week is a repeat. It's going to be 'Never Leave Me' I think. New Buffy is April 15, a week from Tuesday.

I got an email confirmation today from Slayage.tv, putting me on their mailing list for the conference. If you haven't done that and you want to maybe go, it's a thought..

"Regrets, I've had a few..."
I'd like a few swigs of regret from THAT bottle.

Bookmark Amber Benson's website and check it from time to time. I don't have the link or I'd give it to you.

OK, Alexandra, you asked for it:
Ebulgence: In the pants-wearing male, a noticeable volumetric increase in the way the front of the pants is filled out, when said increase is due to visual, auditory, olefactory or tactile stimulation - anytime, anywhere, of any sort, day or night, wrong or right.
SAMPLE USE: His sudden ebulgence left me breathless.
Ebulgeometrics: The three-dimensional study of the physical aspects of Ebulgence.
SAMPLE USE: No, Your Honor - it was solely in pursuit of Ebulgeometrics that such action was taken.

Lee, there are no rules to this thing. Just write what you want to say and send it to Vlad. I for one am not holding a red pencil, I just love to read other people's ideas on my favorite subject. This is a safe place to share!

Spikecentric. That one was mine, I think. Or maybe I stole it, I don't know.

You're right, it was 4 degrees. We're still 3 up on Kevin Bacon!

This I can answer, at least for the UK. The UK has no syndication rights so the shows can go immmediately to DVD, whereas in the US, Buffy is syndicated to a network which has exclusive rights to show certain seasons for a certain amount of time before people can get the episodes in other ways, such as DVD.

April 25th...Patti will have NO DEGREES of separation.
Have I possibly talked about this enough? Cause I could stop.

Glad I made somebody laugh. Hard day today. I could sneak a peek at what S'cubies were saying but couldn't post. Sometimes the only constructive thing one can do is laugh and just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Let the wackiness ensue.

I went to the s'cubie site to see all the new essays, analyses and fanfiction contributions. Needless to say I thought they were all great. I also wanted to re-read Vlad's short story, but it wasn't on the initial list. It was only after reading Rob's latest contribution(s) that I found it. My question is why is it hidden away? I love this story and I was very disappointed not to find it in the initial list. Is Vlad trying to hide it?

I echo Rob's sentiments and repeat my request for a companion piece in the Xander-centric "Go Fish."

Last week FX ran the end of Season 6 and the following day returned to the beginning with "Welcome to the Hellmouth."
It was an interesting contrast to see the sudden reversion of the characters to their first season selves.
I know everyone was much younger then, but has anybody noticed how much softer SMG appeared? Her first season Buffy is still babyfat soft and round with huge, innocent eyes. Her darker hair emphasizes that softness. Her fighting skills are more gymnastic but less accurate and every slay appears more accidental than purposeful.
I think when we see Season 7 compared to Season 1 the differences will be even more pronounced.
