Wow! We really nailed it, didn't we. Of course Aaron was acquited. Watching the preview, I remember thinking: V., you just totally jinxed it! when she said she wanted to be there to see Aaron's face when he learned he'd never again be a free man. Joss has trained us well (like it or not). Knowing what Aaron did, it was something of a surprise to me how much of the evidence against him came down to "he said/she said". I too am champing at the bit for next week's ep. Aaron may have been acquited, but he will get his.

I really loved Keith in this episode. First of all, I loved how he showed complete love for Veronica when she says everyone tells her she's easy-going. "You know how they sometimes call fat men 'Tiny'?" Hee!! That also reminds me that Curly is actually bald. But then again, Dick is truly a dick. #claps# and #rofl1# Clever! I loved loved loved the scene where he asks her if she's OK. The best of all possible responses, because it shows exactly what is important to him. Her well-being. I don't see Butters interest in Mac as being dropped. I think we just saw that Mac is still a bit interested in Beaver. Or at least is able to be friendly to him again. And flirt a bit. A triangle might actually be kind of interesting, 'cuz I like her with both of them too. I also kind of saw the scene as both of them feeling a bit of "whoa, compared to the bigger issues of murder and murderers and trials and so on, maybe our issues are the last thing we need to be worried about right now" realization. The smarmy gladhanding plastered over his anger and panic was rather creepily effective for me. Like he still is thinking he can talk and weasel his way out of this somehow. ;D The outing of all outings!!!!

It's practically like saying "at least nothing worse can happen". ;D He said/she said helped along by missing evidence (Logan I understand your pain, but dude it was sooooo stupid to erase the tape!) and some bribery, coercion and mudslinging. I am really hoping that Aaron gets his and that no one else gets hurt when he does!

Fooled around but didn't actually have sex. Grr. So the trial is going to drag Duncan out of Mexico. School shooting. Whoa. Brave Wallace. So now we'll never know what Lucky had to say about Woody. Woody lying through his teeth So, with Mac as a good friend, Veronica doesn't know about this email server thing? Even I sort of kind of knew that. Mr. Goodwood. Health Class Tests tend to be really easy from what I can remember. So the speculation is right, Woody was molesting the kids. Or is it something else and this is just a mislead? Way not to arouse suspicion, Veronica. Oh, no! Keith knows about the STD! How did the lawyer know that? Tutoring Weevil Sparks between Mac and Beaver again. Scary Woody Trust Issues: the other shoe drops. So this whole season has been about adding credence to this lawyer's spin on things. So Veronica skipped out on her last final, so she'll lose the scholarship?

I'm really late to the party but RL just took precedence over internetty life yesterday.
Severely underwhelmed. I thought the show had some nice moments but after all the fabulous shows we've had in a row - this show, the one before the last - AARON'S TRIAL MIND YOU - was hollow and empty.
Where was the passion? Where was the fire? Why the ****** was Logan so unemotional as his father lies his ass off?
Severly underwhelmed.
They could have taken out the Jackie/Terrence stuff and the stupid Weevil stuff (which was good mind you but hey - so unimportant in the next to last episode of the year) and spent way more time on the trial.
I liked Wallace and Veronica's moments. Very, very nice. Beautiful friendship, cemented in words and expressions.
I liked the opening - intense, emotional, and they get it all done in the Cold Open - bwah!!!!!!
I was frightened for Wallace even though I knew he wouldn't die.
But afterwards - too many things, all mushed together without emotional impact.
I liked the way they handled V and L's scene - it should have been awkward after all the emotionalism so I don't have a problem with that. I do have a problem with no interaction between them during the trial My God if it hadn't been for Keith's moment with the slimey defense lawyer - the trial would have been yawnsville. Nice call out though to Hamlin's actually being one of People's Sexiest of the year though.
Diane R. (the writer) what happened? You're better than this girl.
Also - what the what was up with Beaver and Mac? Suddenly they are all flirty and friendly again? Um .. . . whahuh? Didn't work for me.
Nice bit of continuity to put the student who filmed Lynn's jump in the scene though. Wonder if that's important.
Anyway - my impression, lots of meh with moments of goodness. Pretty much a waste of what should be building intensity.
And to summarize I repeat ...... where was the passion? A trial we waited all year to see and that was it? Of course he was going to get off - there was no physical evidence whatsoever but still? And is this why V suddenly had VD? So they could discredit her testimony? If it was a set up by the defense and they bribed V's doc to give her VD - then I might accept the idiotic plotline of V suddenly having chylmadia.
Now to see what the other S'cubies thought.

Woody did it! - Aaron did it! - Terrence did it!
Curly did it! - Weevil did it! - Logan did it!
Meg's baby did it! DISCUSS!! Heee! Following is my spec - based on no spoilers of any kind as I have avoided all the who is the murderer spoilers: I am going with Beaver as the killer (molested/sexual identity issues/blackmail ) and Gia as my backup killer at this point. Obviously the whole sexual thing has got to play into this and Woody is too much the final red herring of the show. Whether Aaron factors into this in any way is still kind of unclear but bottom line - I think for the killer to have any sort of emotional impact it has to be someone we've seen all year. And I just can't see Dick as the killer. Plus we still have that ambiguous Sally reference in Ain't no Magic Mountain High enough and this week Amber on his car. Comments about being a eunuch and neutered from Dick. The tranny. Lots of interesting sexual ways they can take all this. As for Gia as my backup - I don't really have a reason except that she has been featured alot, is part of a dysfunctional family, and it would be wildly out there in a season of gotchas.

Ooh! What a great thought! She got treated for no reason at all. You're a genius! I'm probably wrong. Woody is even more of a pervert than we thought - those are really young boys. Gute did a nice job with the slimey last night. I'm going to have a hard time watching all my old 3 Men and a Baby movies after this because ewwwwww!!!!!!

Earlier in the episode, in the keyed car scene with Beaver, there was a boy - named Hart - who told Veronica not to worry, that he kept quiet. Any idea what that was all about? I really really want to know. There is something V doesn't know that he thinks she does. He knows more about the party where she got slipped the drug? Maybe someone else had sex with her? Or . . . I don't know. That was important somehow, but . . . Did anyone answer this? He was the boy who taped Lynne's jump off the bridge.

Hee, hee - I see Rae did answer it. Never mind. (You always beat me Rae - ;D )

Ausciello has clues for the finale this week where he has astericks in key words. I think they have all been figured out and may I just say whoa!!!!!!! (If spec about the answer of one of those is correct.)
I wouldn't read them if you don't want any hint of spoilage.
Just a warning.

Oooh, another person on the "I think Beaver did it" train with me!! ;D I keep changing my opinion on the actual actual "doer", but I'm leaning toward Curly, as hired by a group that included Beaver. And that the bomb went a bit farther than they intended. As my second wildly speculative guess, I'm picking a consortium of adults, who all link back to the "Boatloads of Fun" group, and who are involved in some type of extremely sordid sex and drug ring. Because that would make for one heck of an "outing" and surprise. ;D All of which means, of course, that it actually was Woody or Aaron. Since I've picked neither. Wait! I mean, the baby! It was actually the baby!

Jason stated that he was completely surprised when they told him who the bus crasher was and I think Woody is the one wearing a big, neon pick me sign, pick me. I do think he is a pervert and a molester. I think he probably molested Beaver too and Beav is the brains behind blackmailing Woody. So Peter, Marcos, Lucky, Beaver - all part of the molested.

What woud Beav's motive be for sending his classmates over a cliff? Not that I have any better ideas, I just like Cassidy so I don't want it to be him, and he just doesn't seem evil enough. On the other hand Woody seems TOO evil (as in too obvious). Oh, heck. I don't know. How about . . . uh . . . uh . . . uh . . . hmmm. And how does the taped rat fit in? The bus was purposely made smelly, which Dick pointed out. And then . . . how about it IS Woody, which would be no surprise, but the surprise part is elsewhere, as in something that is revealed about someone else, as part of the whole revelation? SOMETHING is going on in that Casablancas family, that's for sure. "Sally," "Amber," life insurance policies, a step-mom who isn't who she say she is, a shady dad . . . I hate for the bad seed to be Cassidy though. I'd rather it be that nasty Dick, or Dick Sr.

I agree with those who think Woody is the last red herring, as far as the bus crash is concerned.
I'm thinking a bit convolutedly.....
Let's say Aaron's goal was to eliminate all evidence for his trial. Have we heard of any connections between Lily and the dead bus riders? Was there anyone on the bus who could have been a confidant of Lily's? Someone who was an eye witness to the affair? Someone who had to die before the rest of the evidence was destroyed? I think the ultimate finale would be to connect this year's mystery and last year's...
