//Re: Spike's height. I'd asked about it because nearly all the other men in the cast seem so much taller; Xander, Giles, Wood, not just amazon Reilly. Seems like they must all exceed 6ft. I agree, 5ft10in not short, just other cast members all seem tall in comparison.//
If everyone else is reporting that they are 6' and James is only 5'10", that's quite believable -- at that height range, a few inches isn't much, and a 6' man doesn't at all tower over a 5'10" man, the way a 5'5 woman might dwarf a 5'3" woman. It's all relative.

//huh? what? My son playing Tigger? I must have missed those posts.//
You ladies may be thinking of the photo Michelle posted of her (I assume) offspring in a Tigger costume, for my benefit. Not exactly sure why -- must have said something at some point about it. Okay though, since I like Tigger almost as much as Eeyore, and I like pictures of kids even more. Heck, I'd post one of mine for the masses to enjoy if I had one in digi-land I could get to.

I'm planning to do more with Ripper, but not in the next chapter. The next one belongs to Xander and Buffy.

Diane's Nerd Alert is up, and of course I had to take a stab -- I'm such a nerd. Anyhow Diane, you said not to typecast, but to me, typecasting is half the fun!

Looking forward to that too.
So much is going on in my life right now it's hard to find the time and head space to write so I'm glad you and Nan are going strong.

Nan. I'm glad you've decided to post the next chapter. I have been looking forward to it since reading the first 3 chapters last night. I am sorry I did not respond straight away after reading it, but I usually need a lot of time to get my head around what I've read and last night I went into cognitive overload: I read all the new Tabular Rasa reviews (BTW that Tiramisu is a dummy spitter sometimes), Rob's first five chapters and your first 3 chapters. I felt I needed a brain extension to understand what I had read. Even now all that I understand about your work was that it was extremely well written, especially Spike, and Dawn seemed to swear a lot. I am waiting until you've finished so that I can try to get my head around what you may or may not be trying to say.

There is no way I could avoid a post with a title like this! And, yes, I'm going to enjoy reading the books no matter what. Patti T

David said:
As our favorite characters are killed off, we too become infected with the blood.
Uber-creepy!
That makes me of two minds about the possibility of Spike dying.

Nan, I am sorry, I have been so involved in my own report I have not read ANYONE else's stuff yet. I have not even STARTED Rob's latest, and I love Rob's stuff. I was going to start catching up tonight and then Miss Pamela called and we talked for THREE HOURS! She is going to the Chicago convention this weekend.
I WILL read your story, AND Rob's AND finally get to Rusty's and the ESSAYS, none of which I've read...they are like piles of presents I have not yet opened.

::If no one has claimed her yet I'm doing Tara in the S'cubie musical. Hmmm, there's something punny about that last sentence. Ok, but if Willow gets all black-eyed, you've been warned... :: I AM NOTKISSING YOU !!!! Diane Getting very black-eyed and brunettey.
Okay! Okay! We'll SKIP the revolving scenery and 'underneath my Willow Tree' scene in the remake! Sheesh...if James can wear only a SOCK, you'd think some people could make more of an effort....

James wearing a sock doesn't impress me, although if you could get Alyson to wear only James' sock ....

600 pages, that's the one to get. You'll be through all 600 pages in no time though, so don't let its size intimidate you. (and you can make all the James Marsters' jokes you want about that last line).
