I find (mock) chicken soup with a few drops of wine mixed in to be very soothing and sleep friendly. I don't eat chicken so I use a vegetarian soup stock but you can go ahead and make the real thing. If making chicken soup is beyond your energy capabilities right now and no one is making it for you then you can always use the Mrs. Grass mixes or similar. Just so long as you don't forget the wine.

I'm sorry to hear that you are sick! :-( *big, big, BIG hug*
My advice? Take Watergal's advice and maybe go see a doctor - a fever for three days is not the best sign.
Let me be like the fiftith person to wish you a speedy recovery. Don't wear yourself out - you need to focus on getting better. Eat chicken noodle soup, drink lots and lots of liquid, eat chocolate (OK, yes, maybe that's not a technical cure but they say chocolate can cure anything), get lots and lots of sleep...man, is my mother coming out in me or what?!?!
Thank you for your well wishes for my grandmother - I really appreciate it (see post #16).
GET WELL SOON!!!!
-L :-)

'The last three original BUFFY episodes are fast approaching, packed with excitement and HUMOR,....'
3 more episodes and UPN STILL doesn't have a clue...

OK, here I am sitting at work, and I had an extra minute so I went over to slayage.com, which I haven't done in ages, so as to stay away from spoilers.
I only opened "non-spoiler" articles, but there was just article after article about THE END of BtVS. And suddenly I realized it was really ending. Now I understand that kicked in the gut feeling many of you have already experienced.
And I just want to go home. I am going to cry my way through tonight's ep, I just know it, no matter what happens.
Oh, I can't stand it.
DAVE! On the size of your part, it was just meant to be a (very) silly joke. But you probably knew that. It's so hard to interpret people's moods and meanings sometimes in these posts - so just making sure I haven't offended.

And I hope you understand that I can't make any promises about how big your part will end up being.
HA HA HA! Ah, Spring, you never disappoint! Well....I guess Dave will be the judge of that....HA HA!

No kidding! I got that email too and I was like, "Huh? Have they BEEN watching the show for the last few weeks? Yeah, Buffy being kicked out of her house and abandoned by her friends...I can see where that is funny."
Stupid UPN, they are almost as bad as the promo department at the WB - wait...nah, they're right up there with them!

I don't know if you live by yourself or what, but just promise me you'll pay attention to your symptoms and get to the doc if you don't see improvement soon.
Do not do that "man thing" where you avoid the doc when you shouldn't.
NAN: I think you may live closest to Vlad. Be prepared to mount a search and rescue operation if we don't hear from him in more than 24hrs!!

But it was far more fun to sit next to her and hear about James complete with hand gestures--very expressive hands out Patti has--a slight blush and oh! those sparkling eyes!]
wow...are you SURE you don't want to kiss me? LOL!
Actually, I am playing BUFFY! Buffy and Willow don't kiss. Willow and TARA kiss! Except in this production apparently! You and Michelle will have to work that out!
And about those hand gestures...in case anyone's wondering? Perfectly innocent.

after a month's unemployment, have some real hope of a permanent job for the first time in nearly a year.
Nan, my prayers and crossed fingers (couldn't hurt) that you get that job! Unless it stops your writing of course.

It sounds like a very nasty case of the flu. I just got over one like that. I didn't find the congestion and sore throat to be as severe as you've got, but the fatigue nearly killed me. Slept nearly 48 hours straight through. Still tiring too soon.
Do all you can for yourself, Vlad. Chicken soup is good with blood in it. Add rice for texture. Keep your feet up and watch your Buffy DVD's and don't do anything else. Take your Dimetapp (or Nyquil or TheraFlu) You can catch up with us later. Just get well.
If you still have a fever tomorrow, then get someone to take you to see the doc.

Seppuku...I looked it up to see if there was a difference between it and hari kiri - they are the same thing but the proper term is seppuku, and there is a WEBSITE telling you how to do it! Not that anyone should so I'm not posting the address.

How about if he just drinks the wine?
