Oh Lord. I cannot sleep, so I got up and wandered around awhile and came to check this board - and you guys have been at it again. And you even recruited someone new for your late night parties! Nagaem: Welcome! Patti: My doggie is a girl. She appreciates hugs. Now what's this about my OMWF role? As the underwear lady, I am going to be "extending a cop's part?" Darlin', your wording leaves me breathless. And uh . . . well, I actually dated a cop for about a year. It was years ago, but I guess I can remember how it's done. As to who I'd like to play the role - well, since you're such good pals with him now, can't James come to this? Wait. I see Dave has volunteered. OK, Dave, I'm sure we can both be suitably professional about it all. And I hope you understand that I can't make any promises about how big your part will end up being.

:: Nan: (459/467) David, our official late night greeter, has already presented you with a fine S'cubie welcome. Allow me to offer the official S'cubie Spike salute... :: :: David: (472) I'm trying to envision the official S'Cubie Salute, and wondering if it was the gesture Spike did to Xander while tied to the chair in Hush. That could help in trying to get it correct. :: In my husband's circle of musicians, that salute is known as the "key of two!" Nagaem, welcome aboard this "Ship of Fools." Trust me, foolishness abounds here, in fact it's required! Patti, regarding the remake of the musical, did you WANT me to kiss you??? I'll do whatever I have to to get into the part, but I figured you for hetero... [We had lunch together on Saturday so I could see her convention goodies and hear "Tales of the Dinner." For details, check her report. But it was far more fun to sit next to her and hear about James complete with hand gestures--very expressive hands our Patti has--a slight blush and oh! those sparkling eyes!]

I can't reply much because I have to go back and read. Which I will...eventually. But I'll probably get further behind today because Real Life intrudes. That said. I, at least, am warm, dry, and with electricity. Not everybody in TN and surrounding states can say the same. Still raining (up to 9 inches in 24 hours--even the interstates are flooding), still with tornado watches. And here I sit, my biggest concern that Buffy not get pre-emtped by weather reports! I've already emailed siblings in two states to tape the ep just in case. I did see (briefly) lots of posts to which I WANT to reply, but it may have to wait until the post episode posting flurry. At least my husband is out of town for the night--so if I spend 6 hours straight here, he won't give me grief! To everyone who has new stuff up at the website: Patti (part II), Rob, Nan, Rusty, Spring, ?. I just haven't read it yet. Hopefully feedback in June will be just as sweet (like getting a birthday gift 3 weeks late.) Welcome to Nagaem (or may I call you Meagan?) Welcome back to Lee P--haven't seen you around much recently. Josh still MIA? Kerrie and Michelle--I know there were posts of yours way back I hope to reply to. To whomever asked: Yes, I goofed in saying Spike was fighting for evil in Nec. Evils--I meant good. My bad. Maybe if I work really hard and avoid temptation for a few hours I can get back here later. Sue P.S. Never, ever buy a house in a low-lying area. (Ours isn't but the folks on TV break my heart.)

Oops. Guess while trying to fly through the backlog of posts I was trying to catch up the other night I misidentified Michelle's son in the Tigger suit with a younger version of Spring's son. My apologies. deborah

Patti said: //That makes me of two minds about the possibility of Spike dying.// Maybe because I've missed a couple or recent Angel episodes lately (although I've read all the posts about them) I don't understand the recent discussion about becoming infected by the blood of our favorite characters who get killed off. Would someone kindly explain? Thanks. deborah

Thanks for the recommendation of "Sunlight and Shadow". I've bookmarked the site and inscribed it on my reading list. Yes, Adjrun is one of the "Dancing Lessons" writers. They are still working on Foundation so maybe she's just been consumed with that. I hope she is planning on finishing "Awkward Phases". But her failure to answer Emails has not inspired me with confidence. Have you read "Bag of Bones", the WIP by Shadowlass? I am loving that one too. deborah

Thanks for the info on the cruises. I printed it out and I'll definitely remember the money part when we go. Also, just to erase any doubt, I don't mind you telling everyone about us being neighbors. In fact, I almost mentioned it in my response back to David about his homesickness but wasn't sure if you'd mind . I'm totally with you on that May to October thing. I'd love to live in Maine during the FL summer!

goes out to each and every S'cubie! Thank you so very much for all your thoughts and prayers and good wishes - I know my grandmother and I really appreciate them. As I've said before and I'm sure I'll say it again, I am so glad I found this board and all of you! Oh, great news - my grandmother is doing remarkably well, better than the doctors EVER expected! I got to the hospital yesterday and she was sitting up, she had color in her cheeks and was talking to everyone like nothing had happened. She's going to be in the hospital for a while but the doctors are now optimistic instead of pessimistic! The doctors can't really explain her recovery - she had a weak heart and the heart attack was massive enough that she could have died. They don't understand my grandmother - that lady is not going out without a fight!! She's not 100% better but she is getting there - she'll probably go home next week, if things keep improving at the rate they are. She's got a tough road ahead but I know she can do it!! I was talking to her yesterday and she was telling me that she felt this incredible peace come over and that she knew it wasn't her time to go - of course, I started bawling at that because I was just so incredibly thankful! While I was talking to her, I was telling her that she had a lot of people praying for her and I started telling her about the kind words you all had expressed. She told me that I had such "nice Buffy friends" and that I was lucky to have such a caring group. I realized then how true her words are - we are lucky that we found one another and even though some of us have never met and might never meet, I am so glad to count you all among my friends. OK, now I'm getting teary again - think of something funny, think of something funny...I haven't been able to catch up on the posts (man, y'all posted a LOT!) but hopefully, I will be able to sometime. I did however scan through them and y'all were on a roll yesterday! The S'cubies make me happy, the S'cubies make me happy, la la la la....the S'cubies make me happy! Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers - they mean more than you'll ever know! Love, Lee :-)

I remember how frightened I was when my father had his heart attack. Then when we knew he was going to be all right, how relieved. I am so glad for both of you. Please send love and hopes for a quick release from the world of jello, thermometers at midnight and no privacy.

S'cubies rule, ep boards drool! Take that episode board! We, the S'cubies, have posted often enough on the Miscellaneaous board in the few short months since our inception, to leave you in our dust! Nya, nya, nya, nya, nyaaaaaa! Can't you just feel the maturity in the air? Just had to ring in on the coolness of us. Watergal P.S.: Hi Nagaem! I know a man whose last name is Nagaem. Imagine, if he named his daughter Meagan, her name would be a palindrome!
