There was an awful lot of blood awful fast...that does not bode well. Vlad Yeah, I don't know the medical aspect of it well; but, If I'm not mistaken, the blood was bright red instead of dark. I think if the liver is hit, it comes out dark. So, that may be a good side to it. It may not be as bad as it looked.

Well, I was expecting ...more, somehow *grin* But then, those of us that watched Buffy knows that "scyth" matters only in the hands of the right girl. *ducks fruit* Vlad LOL. Watch out for flying veggies too. And canned goods are a ...

You'd think after a couple years of biology I would know these things... unfortunately I spent that time working on my queen's gambit and doing small arms sales... Vlad

Vlad I think that's a big part of it. I can only say what I know from other movies and whatnot. I remember something about blood being darkest when it comes from the liver.. And liver shots are usually fatal. I don't know how accurate that is; but, I remember it from, I think, the Willis version of 'Day of the Jackyl' Hmm.. wonder why they're rerunning Colonial Day.

Well, there it is - the hard landing in hell. Apollo and Starbuck are both guilty of mutiny. Commander Adama is dead or dying, making Tigh the military leader of the fleet. Roslin is in jail. And Baltar is now the acting president of the 12 colonies. There are also two Boomers - one pregnant and the other - what the heck? I did not see that coming at all. (duh - understatement) Adama was making his speech - which you knew he was making for the benefit of Apollo - then Bang! A very Joss-worthy surprise. Starbuck's reaction to Helo's "she's pregnant" was amazing. Her world/faith has just been shaken to the core. All of their's have. Was that a baby in a cradle on Kobol - the next generation? Not C!Boomer's kid already, is it?

I mean, how the cinema represents assorted wounds as a sort of short hand language for the viewer. And back to BSG... Helo told Starbuck not to shoot CapBoomer becasue "she's pregnant?" Wow! I mean, I was expecting somethign like ..."she can get us out of here" or even "she kept me alive." So what does this mean? And is her baby the baby that Baltar and Six were looking upon in the cradle (or is that Claire's baby? *Grin*) or does Six wanna knit some booties for Baltar's progeny in the future? Vlad

Well, the only real answer we got was: it will be back in July. OKay, that was one of hte most powerful cliff hangers since I don't know when. He can't be dead, right? Right? Vlad I certainly hope not. I love EJO. He did look pretty drained - and kind of Christ-like laying there with the blood spreading fast.

As I was quickly logging on to see what everyones reactions were here I kept thinking "Oh crap... Olmos is such a big name... what if he doesnt wanna come back to do a regular series next season? What if they decided to axe him? And do it in a Jossian way?" Vlad

But Boomer on Galactica should be in the brig now too. As for the cradle - Six has said she wanted a baby and referred to what's in the cradle as the future.. Baltar isn't actually in a building. So, I'll have to do some brain racking over it. lol

They want to merge themselves with humans... hence the whole storyline on Caprica this season... and while that particular Boomer experiment may not have gone exactly wher ethey wanted, its still their desire. The whole becoming one with God? Didn't the humans, infact, create the Cylons? And wouldn't mating and producing offspring be a way towards that "becoming one" deal? Vlad

I certainly hope not. I love EJO. He did look pretty drained - and kind of Christ-like laying there with the blood spreading fast. It would really suck if he left the show. But, it kinda fits into a larger picture. If Starbuck returns with the arrow of Apollo and Baltar opens Athena's tomb instead of Roslin, that could really screw things up further.

But, I don't know what they're now going to do with Caprica Boomer. If they take her back to the fleet, she'll probably take a short walk out of a pressurized room..

And CapBoomer.. she wants to go to Earth...am I the only one that got this Adam and Eve vision?
A single Boomer and a single Helo, alone on a new world raising a family of little CyHumans.
Did anyone check to see if they had some black stones on them? That LOST hatch certainly lbears a resemblance to the BSG tech. *L* We have solved what is running around on the island! It's Helo and Boomer's tyke! Woo hoo!
