Of course, I could be wrong, since she asked the doctor to examine her Cylon prisoner and gave in to his requests. Ah, but she was totally on board with Gaius' whole explanation that the cylon should be manipulated emotionally and that he was gonna use "a carrot". I would bet she called him in purely because her cylon prisoner went catatonic and she was wondering if there was more info to be gotten out of her or should they just kill her.

Well, they are successfully making Admiral Kane and her gang seem rather . . . . vaguely threatening. Nicely playing on our attachment to the folks we already know - making these guys feel like interlopers barging in on our little gang. Oh, yeah. It pissed me off when I saw how happy *our* crew was to see the Pegasus crew, and the rather coldness of the *others*. How dare they make the Galactica people feel inferior after all they've been through!

Very ballsy to openly defy a superior officer. Espcially an admiral. Go Adama! 3 cheers for Adama! I think the Pegasus is very much in denial about the real situation they are all in. This is the last of humanity that is left! Each one of them needs to start looking at being more adaptive and less rigid. Also, they need to think less about hunting down cylons (especially when they lose lots of people that way - people they can't afford to lose). Pegasus is gonna have a big shock when they start having to deal with the civilian population as well! They've been their own little world for too long. Makes me wonder how much of this is how they were already and how much is caused by cracking under the strain of thinking they were all alone.

Greg just declared he believes that having Starbuck out there tooling around in her new toy will be key to busting her crewmates out of jail. And they better get Six out of there as well, or I'll start getting medieval on them too. Do you think they will try?

With the inhumanity expressed toward the cylon prisoner as a shining example between the Admiral and Adama and the President. *nods* It really sickened me a lot. Especially the scene between the new pilots who were bragging and making lewd comments about the 'robot' girl. Nasty.

After the court martial bullshit I came to the same conclusion. I wasn't watching the scene between her and Gaius very well, and missed the suggestion that they manipulate Six.

Yup. She's just too . . . calm and OK with ordering her vipers to go out and shoot down her fellow soldiers. And the way she rigged the court martial and was so fakey in her "it was a hard decision" speech to Adama. I cheered when he ordered his marines to go get them back and stomped down the hall all "I'm getting back my men!" Frankly though, I'm surprised he didn't call the President. I mean, the perfect response to her "I don't take orders from you" would be "no, you take them from the President" and then have the President order an impartial tribunal. Well - presuming their system is the same as ours and the Pres is the "commander in chief". I get the feeling that it would not have mattered if the President told the Admiral to convene a new court martial and set aside the original verdict. She had no respect for the president or the office by the time they met up. The admiral is more intent on running a military dictatorship. Bitch. Yeah, I think she's a bit too used to just running things the way she wants. She's even more dangerous than Tigh, because she's actually competent.

How dare they make the Galactica people feel inferior after all they've been through! Assholes, that's what they were acting like. I like what Lola said, though, about how much of their behavior is due to the stress of being all alone out there and how much is due to personality traits that were present anyway. I tend to think it's a combination of both. Pre-disposition to be bad and the stress of their situation gives them the opportunity to act out their bad impulses.

Okay, Greg and I are pretty homicidal right now. I don't care what the hell Number Six and Sharon are--to treat them like that was unconscionable. Every single Pegasus crew member who assaulted Six should be castrated and get their penis shoved down their throat. And then I'll go to work on them. I was glad the "interrogator" died, myself, but Greg wasn't--he felt his death should have taken much longer and been a hell of a lot more painful. This treatment they (Sharon and Six) both suffered pretty much strengthens the Galactica's tenuous bond with the Cylons. Baltar's declaration of love for Six had me in tears. And what was almost done to Sharon...it...I have no words to how awful it made me feel. I'm with Greg. The interrogator's death was much too quick, but then again, we won't have to deal with his repulsive face again.
