Just walking.. slowly, to go kill my admiral.. *whistles* She's shit-scared.. oh, poor Kara-woobie!! SHIT.. Huh.. and her XO didn't do it? oh yeah, they are to wait for signals. Oh, whoosh. Adama's gonna call her off. Cool. Oh YES. "Not enough just to survive. One has to be worthy of surviving" So Cain knows her executioner just had her orders rescinded.. does it affect her decision next? Jack? Huh. "That's all" Wow. Figured her for doing it. Dang. So Baltar's gonna send her out to commit Suicide by Cain? The hell? Does she not know who he is from the pool-memories? AWESOME music.. And Sara was right.. "Can you roll over? Beg?" Just thought that bore highlighting... ;D

State funeral rather than a court martial.
Oh lord, don't go by the Gospel according to Cain...
"Safer with her than without" Gotta disagree, Kara.
Oh, that's what is agonizing him..
Ah. World had gone too mad for him to want to come back to it.
So Helo and Chief Tyrol are released.....
And Tyrol leaves her to Helo.
The Cylon had oodles of assistance.
Thank the CYLON God.
He's Fleet Admiral now, isn't he?
Yep. Wow, Billy got replaced by someone ten years younger than he is.
Oh!!!!!!!!!!!!! that tender little kiss, and those grins.
What a cute couple they'd make if her days weren't numbered.
LIKED the music this episode. LIKED THIS EPISODE LOTS, period.

Nothing was more important that her ship, her crew and her mission. Well, that's one way to put it. She looked them right in the eye and didn't flinch. One ship, no help no hope. Well, other than the civilian ships she destroyed, but hey. Who's counting. She did what she thought needed to be done. Yup. Always a good rationalization, that one. Oooh. Dualla listening in, eh? And there it is. I didn't want to make it back. Huh. So was the Pegasus' new commander's first act to let Helo and the Chief go? Ah. Where do we go from here? That's a question that's launched some excellent episodes I've seen before. Pegasus Six got off the ship? So, did Baltar help her? Now she makes him an Admiral? Or is it more that he's now the highest ranking and therefore technically in charge. Awwww. A sweet kiss. And she's so obviously on her last legs. And really, the look on his face as he watched her leave was actually more touching than the kiss. Bittersweet. My favorite.

Very good point - that this contradicts the whole "machines don't feel" thing. Oh yeah! Cylons are big with the monotheism. And they're cranky about the humans believing in a whole bunch of Gods.**nods** Ok. Let's just review our stellar human history for the parallels. Huh. **nods** It's just another reason I find BSG so fascinating. ;D

I have to say that I really liked this episode. What a great show. I'm just pissed it took me so long to start watching it. Dumbass.

So. Onjel and I were talking, and I noted that finally causing us to relate to and feel empathy for Cain was a very Jossian thing to do. Onjel replied that while she'd been hoping for redemption, she didn't think Cain was ever going to deal with the Cylons as anything but machines to be destroyed--and that she thought Cain changed her mind because Adama is human, hadn't done anything wrong, and it wasn't politically smart. But, as I said to Onjel, I think Cain called off the kill order because she looked the moment in the eye... and she flinched. Because, after all, she was only human.

Perhaps because she felt it, in seeing her own executioner released from the duty?

Kara's words at Cain's eulogy have me worried. So, she thinks that they would've needed Cain? I hope that doesn't mean that she might be taking on that mantle. Awesome episode! I KNEW as soon as Baltar told Pegasus Six that she needed justice and gave her the gun that she'd make a beeline for Cain. A very human thing to do, don't you think?
