Heh.... Adama asking the "we" question.
HEE! Good on Emo-boy, standing up for Starbuck! In your face, incompetent insecure bitch-ass!
SIXIE!!!!
I'd have another statistician check the numbers there.
EIGHTEEN YEARS??? Where the hell does he get that? Most of the population has life expectations longer than that.
Well, Laura's solidified one-twelfth of the population.
ARREST HIS ASS.
Adama said it louder, he wins. ;D
Lady or the tiger?
Ah, shit...
*sighs*
He did his damndest.
Ah, crap.
This is where you go "time to bug out!"
THREE basestars...
OOOH boy.

There's Six! Yay! "Luckily I ran these calculations 7 months ago when no one was interested." #rofl1# Roslin! Ah, Roslin. Taking another step over that line, aren't you. And don't tell me that you aren't thinking of the political angle of this. Because yesterday you didn't have one opinion on this and today you're imposing criminal penalties? Not even attempting to try rewards or incentives? Man!!! This guy is even stupider than I first thought! They're all dead - and this is a Cylon trap. Gosh. Who could have seen that one coming.

I wonder who's gonna be the first person to start bringing other than religious pressure to bear on the women to have all the babies they can. 'Cuz of most of their population being killed and all. Damn! It's Adama. I had no idea it would happen that fast! Huh. I wonder if he's been thinking a lot about it since spending so much time with Cylon!Sharon. Ah! That's an excellent thought, Karen!

Yes - what a surprise! Garner's an engineer. What'd you expect?

Heh.... Adama asking the "we" question. HEE! Good on Emo-boy, standing up for Starbuck! In your face, incompetent insecure bitch-ass! #chuckle# Emo-boy. Plus, their numbers aren't that low. I mean, there've been perfectly viable civilizations with smaller numbers than they have. I'm confuzzled. **snerk** That was my thought too. Yup.

Gee. Garner seems upset. At least Lee's not in the brig but on the bridge, so that's a bit helpful. "I have the con." Amazingly well acted. So . . . amazed and stunned and hesitant, and then . . . he does what needs to be done. Well, Garner is engineer guy - get him down there fixing things and he may be of some use. Damn. He's gonna end up saving all their asses and dying a hero isn't he? Making us all feel all sorry we hated him.

Yup. Heroic death. But he was still a lousy commander. A good and noble engineer, but a lousy commander. "He was used to working with machines." Well, hammer home the whole Cylon dilemna, why don't you? Commander Apollo! Woot! Break out the champagne and the babes! OMG. Prosecute the Gemenese girl? Aren't you happy enough that the law went your way? "I insist." Oooooh, don't say that to Roslin. Um. Hate to say it, but "pound of flesh" wouldn't be a phrase these people would be using. Just to be all nitpicky. Buck authority and get away with it. And there's the heart of their problems. Damn, Six! Work that dress, girl. Oh, Baltar. You're right, but you're just as self serving with your decision and announcement as Roslin was. So maybe he just lied to her about the figures, eh? And that's why they seemed wonky to us?

Wow.. they are so screwed... "Sergeant I think we have better things to do" And so does the captain: Relieve him, arrest him, and release him on parole to the engineering. Or, you know, do it that way on paperwork, later: otherwise bitchass faces a court for abandoning his command as well as criminal insubordination. Apollo has the hot seat on a doomed ship. See. I was thinking that this should have been the way it should have been since the beginning, if they were keeping the PeggyLook like Garner's gonna save them the trouble of a Court and get himself a medal in the process. Gonna Master & Commander them with the broadside railguns, Apollo? Proof that a GREAT and brave engineer can be a lousy freakin' line officer. But Scotty was better. This is new...oh, just perspective. "command is about people" Yep. Heh. "Remember that, as you take command of the Beast." AWESOME!!! Man, the promotions, they are just a-flying for the Adama family, aren't they? Huh.Now they spelled it "Gemenese." Heh... Well, there went the support of that one-twelfth. Good on Roslin, though. Awwww! Bonding again! Good!!! Yeah, Apollo, you just don't have the right style of authority-bucking. Good that he recognizes that his brain makes no sense. "You should hear the way my brain works, sometimes." SNORT!! They're fine. Hey!! She's NOT under his command anymore!!! They are on different branches of the tree!!! Oh crap. How is Gaius gonna spin this puppy? Shit. He's gonna trot out the real figures now? No, just a great speech. Which seems to be hurting Sixie in its content. Huh. Sardonic clap there as he gives Laura the Judas Kiss....

Ok, so maybe he was a little like Scotty.
Interesting how Starbuck, Apollo and Garner excelled when they each were where they were meant to be.

Oh - that scene where Apollo was given the con. You could see him at once afraid and excited. Jamie BAmber is the bomb, even though sometimes his American accent grates a bit.
