I knew it! What I don't get is how he "saw" that Kara would come for the child, but he seemed so surprised when she killed him again. And did he really think that forcing her to tell him she loved him would really mean anything? Well, I'm sure it made sense it his crazy cylon brain. It's insane Cylon logic. I really really really loved the special effects in this ep. Heck, I just loved this ep--sad, sickening, frustrating parts and all. Awesome special effects! I loved the effect of the fake 'snow' swirling about on NewCaprica at the end. And there was one shot looking back at the gate they had all just broken through that was very effective in showing us just how bleak their lives had been.

Woah. Apollo even sounds just like his dad, just like now he looks like him. ;D Dualla knows the mission. But I'll bet Lee goes to help anyway. Ellen using those words again. "Do anything to save you." Oh, wow. And she tells him everything. Absolutely everything. She knows. She knows what's going to happen. And she just takes the cup and curls up with him. She'd do it again. Tigh just looks completely poleaxed. And destroyed. Man. They made me sorry for and slightly admire Ellen Tigh. Wow! "Just go away." Ya know, if there was ever a time when they should listen to Baltar, this is it. But they won't, those silly cylons! Boom, boom, explosions in the city and guns under the game court - going to free the prisoners and get to the ships. 2 battlestars? Yes! I knew Lee would do it! Oh! Decoys. Damn!! Hot damn!! Holy fucking hell! The ship dropping like a rock into atmosphere and "launch them all" and jump back. MAN that was totally amazing. Man!! Get Starbuck!! Yes!! "We can't hold off four . . ." A suicide mission . . . ."That's it. It's been an honour." Heeeeeee! Yes!! Pegasus!! Lee, you sneaky bastard! "Damn it, Lee." "Thank you, Lee." ;D ;D ;D And the Cylons flee. Yeah, told ya you should listen to Baltar! Oooooh. Lee knows it was a one way trip . . . Baltar bargaining to stop the nukes . . . but the people are gone now, yes? Or not all yet? And they don't know that . . . Oh, that was another stunning space battle thing. The sacrificed the Pegasus. And took out all the Cylon big ships . . . OK, I am officially NOT happy with this Casey thing. NOT happy, not happy, not happy!! "I love you." And then stab him and go. "I'll explain later." Hey, is that the magic cybrid baby? What happened to the crack shots that were gonna protect her? And so they don't nuke the city because of her. So, the mystical hippie woman was right about 3. Aha!! Not her kid! Casey is just a kid Leoben took to mess with her head! Whew! 'Cuz I knew she was too old to be grown from Kara. But, man. Starbuck's head is going to be seriously frakked with now. "You brought them home, Saul." "Not all of them." He's gonna be seriously more frakked up now too. We see some of the future, maybe? How the survivors will be struggling with what happened? The fleet together and on the move again . . . a renewed purpose . . . and the porn 'stache says "bye - bye". Well, that was a most excellent rip-em-up action-packed ep! Whew!! What a night of shows, boy! I'm emotionally drained. ;D

Having just watched the scene again, Greg and I are starting to lean toward the "Ellen didn't know what she was drinking" camp.
And I have to be sure to mention, for the record, that Greg totally called what would happen to the Pegasus--that it would end up being sacrificed, most likely being used as a battering ram in its final moments, so we'd be down to just the Galactica once again.

*bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce* Lee wants to fly in with Daddy. Dee, you know him so well. heh, she knows. Convincing him to do his duty, even though he wants to be his father's vassal. "Because you're an Adama" So sweet... Helping him swallow that bitter pill.... That was such a good scene! "We have to survive to find Earth." So someone is left to remember a ship called Gallactica. Awwww. Like we do! That was a stunning scene between Tigh and Ellen. Stunning!

Having just watched the scene again, Greg and I are starting to lean toward the "Ellen didn't know what she was drinking" camp. I actually thought that at first. But now I'm leaning the other way. That she knew and didn't care, because Saul was OK and with her. Which of course now means I'm probably wrong. Well, that's why he has his own temple, isn't it?

Watching again since it's so quiet in here now. OMG! You really did smother the children. I'm sure not "permenantly." However, there are uses for duct tape that don't get put on the official packaging! ;D And I can't read the thread *pout* I taped the episode because I watch it with Havoc and he has to work nights. From the few little things my eyes strayed over it sounds like it must have been one heck of an episode! Vlad

Apollo doesn't look convinced by what D is telling him. That they need to save humanity by leaving his father and try to find earth. There is no way Tigh is going to be able to kill his wife, if that's the plan. I love how she basically took the decision, and the cup, right out of his hands.

Did Saul Kill Ellen? I was too busy smothering my own noisy offspring to notice. And I think the answer is yes. Depending on your definition, I guess . . .
