You mena.. I get to be the First? Hmmmm...now let's say I CAN assume Buffy's body... what's the first thing I am going to do? *takes about a 3 second ponder and then knocks over his chair in the mad scramble to the bathroom and the full length mirror*

I posted this before I noticed we'd moved. For those getting it by e-mail, I first sent it without the attachment, then noticed and sent a second post WITH the attachment. So don't panic if you first see the post with no attachment. This was a hard one to wrestle into submisson. Hope you like Spike's haircut. Profound stuff... Nan

Nan, I have finally caught up with the last few days' posts (my goodness, you folks talk SO much!) and I just wanted to tell you that I'm really enjoying Old Blood. My only problem now: keeping two in-progress plotlines (yours and Rob's) distinctly separate in my head-- and that's not counting the "actual" Buffy and Angel plots! Confusing or not, it's a wonderful, well-crafted story and I'm looking forward to more. And, I am thrilled that there's a SIT named after me!! And spelled my way! Squeeeee! (sorry, happy squeak) Now I'm exhausted from reading Part 25 in a mere three hours... this should be a lesson to me. Silly Meagan, you should know better than to go out of town for a day! Take care!

Hi Patti. I didn't get a chance to post earlier and the others are such chatterboxes that the part has moved before I got a chance to reply (It's like the Magic Faraway Tree - I keep feeling that the land has moved before I have got down the ladder). "Fair dinkum" does not mean happy (despite the context I used it). It means truly - as opposed to a joke. I like to use the occassional Australian colloquiallism to show Vlad and David that there are other Australian words, not just "bloke" and "shiela" and the other Australian word that they both knew, but which I have forgotten. I am so petty sometimes! Sorry for the confusion. Now (or rather tonight) I better go back to find what else I missed on the other board. Cheers.

Kerrie said: 'Fair dinkum" does not mean happy (despite the context I used it). It means truly - as opposed to a joke.' Thanks Kerrie! That was total news to me, and I love to collect words. Now, about that third word Vlad and Dave know...?

I've just read the wild-feed summary and it looks different to what Spoiler-slayer originally speculated would be the dialogue between Spike and Buffy (i.e. no spelling references). When the episode airs, can you confirm whether it has actually changed pretty please.

Why are you all sleeping? I've got 2 hours til BtVS and nothing to do. If this continues I might actually have to do some homework (ghastly thought). I am so bored and I'm up-to-date on all my S'Cubie reading. There is literally nothing to do except real life stuff: house-work, home-work, or work-preparation. Decisions, decisions. They all seem to have that whole 'work' thing in common. I could try and play with my husband, but I think he's played out. Oh why aren't you awake? I'm sure some of you normally are at this time. Damn. I'll go study (big sigh): I know I won't learn anything.

I'm sure somebody will be up soon to play with you. As for me, I was up till three hours ago writing and I'm really not up now: the cats danced on my face, requiring that they be fed. I'm conking again now. If you're only two hours from the new Buffy ep where you are, please DON'T tell anyone anything. We have 13 hours to go. Nan

// Is anyone still archiving? Are we missing any parts? I volunteer to archive Part whichever is missing...please let me know if needed. // Patti... you beat me to the punch. I was planning on posting the list of archives updated with the new parts later this week. We were all caught up until we got all "talky, talky" the past couple of weeks. I don't have the list here at work but, I think we left off at Part 20. So, we need to grab parts 20 - 26. I'll dig up the list when I get home tonight and get it posted. (I might hold off on posting it until tomorrow morning as I don't think I'll be on before the episode and I wouldn't want to interrupt the episode talk.) Thanks for asking!

Ye gods, you guys can post. I finally catch up with six pages of post, go to bed and the next morning there are eight pages of post. Now I have to refer back to Part 26 to reply to everyone. Part 26 PATTI ( #392): … Trust in Joss...WAIT A MINUTE! The guy that rips our hearts out of our chests every other week? What are you THINKING!? If he didn’t, would we watch? BECKY, WELCOME ABOARD! JULIE A: WELCOME TO YOU, TOO. Once you’ve de-lurked, you’re OURS! No going back into hiding for you, little lady! Now have some cookies. DAVID (#460) Well said. ‘Nuff said. ROB (#464): I was really going to lurk over there. I figured Spring, Nan, Rusty, Vlad, Watergal--with apologies to those I've forgotten to include-were among the originals in the group, with myself and a few others coming later. Apologies accepted. I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve been omitted, forgotten, ignored or left out. If it were just here, I’d probably blow it off, but it happens in my life and in my job with the same regularity. Hence, the psychosis. I don’t know why it happens, ‘cause I’m certainly no Fred. I’ve decided to call myself “The Forgotten Scubie.”

Is she off on another business trip? I know I still am not caught up on part 25 so maybe I missed it. But Rusty, I do notice that you are MIA and come back soon. M. the W.

What is with the dissapearing and reappearing? I know you were with us when we first formed the Super Secret S'cubie E-mail page way back when, and then you dropped off the face of the planet for a while. Glad to have you back. And as for you Diane, you are not forgotten. I simply have a mental block on names. And now that there are so many of us, I am lost. And Gail, and Betty, I missed your arrival since I missed part 25, so a belated welcome to you. And of course welcome to all the newbies whose names I can't remember. Forgive me, I am slightly concussed. (Don't ask. I'm a klutz.) Micha the Watergal
