Finally watching the flashbacks, because I didn't want to do it piecemeal. Also, I hope they got paid for these, cause otherwise I'm going to feel guilty.
Notes:
Flashback 1: Repetition of the "nothing but the rain" dialog. Interesting. So, I guess it has some deeper meaning?
Adama's chick is like a cross between Six and Kara. They also did a really good job of casting YoungAdama.
Flashback 5:
A maturation chamber, and captive humans?
Flashback 7:
So, Adama was not only in the first Cyclon War, but he discovered that the Cylons were up to no good... right before the armistice was signed. dun Dun DUN!!!!

No do-overs.
Back at the introduction of Pegasus to the series. Review of the Pegasus arc.
You make your choices and you live with them. And in the end, you are those choices.

Regular credits.
49,579 survivors. At what point in time? Because it was much lower than that at the end of season 3.

It's the only opportunity the enemy has left us.
As long as the ship survives, the war is not over.
Compare to Adama's speech in the mini-series.

Cain made the conscious decision to operate the ship as a weapon of vengeance. So different to what Adama and Laura Roslin decided to do. Instead of fighting, they looked for survivors and ran. What made the difference? The fact that there were civilians and a civilization to consider? Although, I don't know as if a civilian presence would've made much difference to Cain. ETA: Scratch that. There were civilians, and they didn't make a difference.

What made the difference? The fact that there were civilians and a civilization to consider? Although, I don't know as if a civilian presence would've made much difference to Cain. I think Cain had an edge to her that was buried up until this point. The part when she shoots her XO in the head is very revealing. Up until that point, her plans and such are harsh, but logical, based on the information available to the crew. But shooting her XO, who is supposed to question her when he feels appropriate, well, that's the moment when she stops leading a crew and starts running a police state.
