And Merry Christmas to you, my secret benefactor! We don’t leave cookies for Santa in England. Instead, we leave a glass of sherry and a plate of mince pies. I don’t know if these exist in the U.S. – they’re made from a bitter-sweet mush of dried fruits and peel. Anyway, here you are, and Merry Christmas again! Riff, I have really enjoyed being your Secret Santa - and thank YOU for the delicious mince pies! Yes, these exist in the U.S. In fact, Santa's father used to make them every Christmas, along with fruit cakes which were actually good! So thank you for reminding me of happy Christmases past, and since you've been such a good boy, you can sit on Santa's lap ANY time.... Your Secret Santa

Dear S'cubies, here is a treat for you all. A tradition at Santa's house was for the family to get a new jigsaw puzzle - the big 1200 piece kind. And in the days after Christmas, when we children were out of school and the weather was cold and dreary outside, we would sit around, eat Christmas cookies and have fun putting the puzzle together. And Santa would always slip a piece of the puzzle into my pocket so that I could be the one to finish the puzzle. (Yes, Santa was a naughty child too!)
So here is part of Santa's tradition, for all of you S'cubies!
Enjoy!!www.imagitek.com/xmas/games/jigsaw.html

HO HO HO! Merry Christmas, Diane!Too much? I can never figure how far to take this Santa thing. The rest of the year, I'm just an elderly married elf, who leads a quiet, retired-ish life...but at Christmas, folks expect the fat, jolly, Ho-ho-hoer....
Anyway, for you, this week, I have a fun Christmas greeting from someone other than Spuffy:
*** A few avatars that you maybe haven't seen yet, including a couple suitable to Halloween:
***
A site that should have abundant sparklies, and most of them weighed in carats....
***
And, finally, something I think you'll just find cool, and suitable for a last-minute Christmas gift for yourself:
Diane, my dear, it's been sooo much fun being your Secret Santa - I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
Wow, Mrs S, thank you! I like my sparklies a lot, and my new avatars are nothing but WOW! --but I think you found the one being who could woo me away from Spike--him and one other--maybe. Thanks so much! *runs off to play with her new toys, tightly hugging Goliath and catching one wing at an awkward angle*

My mother can manage one of those. As a matter of interest, mince pies once contained actual minced meat along with the fruit (medieval people liked that sort of thing). They were baked in oblong shapes to represent Christ's crib and contained three spices to symbolise the gifts brought by the magi. I have very much enjoyed being your giftee. I'm looking forward to the "big reveal" after Christmas. ;D

Stumbling in (ow, keep it down, you stupid elves!!) to tell Sara that Santa's got the mother of all gifts for you!! Check your e-mail for a letter from Fark.com. Activate the account that Santa has set up for you, so that he can activate your totalfark account. Ho Ho Ho!! Trust Santa, Sara! For an example of the strange and wonderful things one can find on Fark, go here: "Children's Christmas Letters to Christopher Walken" www.brandonbird.com/./walken_letters.htmlDamned competitor. Who do those ungrateful little bastards think works all year getting their stinking presents ready for them? (SHUT UP, you stupid elves!! I'll fire you all, Christmas Eve Eve or not!)Anyways, an e-mail has been sent to your yorick_jest account. Please confirm it so that Santa can log in and activate the totalfark aspect. Fark.com is a warehouse of news of the strange and bizarre. TotalFark is even more loaded with workplace distractions. Santa wants to give this to you as the gift that keeps on giving, so that he can go and take a nap with the hair of the Reindeer. Your username is Yorick and your password is your last name, all lower case. Please don't change the password until after Santa has activated your paid account! God, I need some vodka.. stinking Christmas carols....

Sweet Lola, Just two days to go and two presents left on your list. One is still in the works and should be here soon but you'll find the other below. Enjoy! Working away, S. Santa Whedon and Mutant Enemy Announce New Series:The world has forgotten the tragedy that flattened buildings and left a black scar on a block of L.A. during the summer of 2004 but some will never rid themselves of the memories of that fateful night. The friends he fought beside have disappeared and now only Spike remains to tell the story. If you can find him. Spike has retreated from the world amongst the party goers of New Orleans. Here where people find thrills in the dark, Spike blends with the crowds and walks the streets - living after hours. Stayed tuned for the next series to enter the world of Buffy the Vampire slayer and Angel the Series, bringing with it guest appearances by many of the characters introduced in those shows. Whedon never fails to deliver quality entertainment and this new series is no exception! Copyright 2004 by The Erinland Press (EP). All rights reserved. Lola, Well it has finally arrived my dear. Christmas Eve. I hope you have enjoyed the presents so far and I hope that you have a truly wonderful Christmas tomorrow. I, myself, must be off to deliver everyone else's presents now so here is the last of your secret santa wishes. I do have to apologize because it's not quite complete. However, W.I.P. seem to be fairly normal when it comes ot fanfic. So, you can think of it as a truly authentic piece of fanfic for you! Actually, the elf who has been helping me gather all of your gifts promises that she'll finish it up next week as Mrs. Claus and Rudolph hogged the computer all day long buying last minute gifts, giving her NO TIME to complete the gift. For now, here's something to get you in the mood: Click on the present above to view what's inside! [glow=green,2,300]MERRY CHRISTMAS![/glow]- S. Santa
