Joss and birthdaysLinda - prokryoteHeh. Saw the episode, loved the episode, but didn't notice that. My theory: Joss is eeeeevvuuuullll. Anything that should be happy is fair game for his destructo ray. And to support my hypothesis: Any date or time period specifically stated on any Joss show for any character seems to be consistently contradicted in a later episode. (e.g. Spike was NOT 126 in season 4 OR barely 200 in season 2, and I think I read somewhere that Buffy had more than one birthdate, etc.) This MUST be deliberate: the writers have been shown to be geeks of the first order, who would never let such things go un-commented upon whenever it happens in their beloved comics or movies. I think it MUST be Joss, who deliberately scrambles the dates, just cause he can AND he's eeeeeevvvuuuullll. It was only a matter of time before he contradicted himself on Firefly, too. Linda, who will nevertheless watch anything he chooses to produce...

On this day in S'cubie history, Diane waxed nostalgic over her favorite Cordy moments.
quote author=Diane link=board=oldparthome&thread=1087137963&start=457#30 date=1076255998
Cordy moments? I wanna play.
*Her "Softer side of Sears" remark to Willow, BTVS S1/1. What a character intro!
*"Hello, Salty Goodness" first reaction to Angel
*"Tact is just saying things that aren't true. I'll pass." And pass she did, unhesitatingly dropping unpleasant, unvarnished truths wherever they were most needed.
*Her facing down a vampire by telling him Buffy's just the runner-up while she, Cordelia, is the queen. Whatever Cordy may have lacked in insight she made up for in sheer guts.
*"What's with 'Giles, The Next Generation?'" first reaction to Wesley.
*Classic Cordy in 'Room with a Vu':
"CORDELIA: I’m not a sniveling whiny little Cry-Buffy. I’m the nastiest girl in Sunnydale history. I take crap from no one.
MAUDE: You're going to make yourself a noose and put it around… (personal comment oh Maudie, you are SO out of your depth
CORDELIA: Back off! Polygrip. You think *you’re* bad? All mean and haunty? Picking on poor pathetic Cordy? Well, get ready to haul your wrinkly translucent ass out of this place, because lady, the bitch is back!"
Buffy handled edged the weapons, but sometimes Cordelia's tongue was sharper.
and, of course, "I didn't ASK!" dismissal of EveL.

There was an interesting discussion on this day in S'cubie history about whether or not Cordelia's return was the work of good or evil.
Sue on Cordelia's role:
Thoughts I had in rewatching the episode, and now partly in response to Rob's post. I hope I can lay them out in some type of clear order.
Much of this season has been about what is real vs what is perceived (to be real)--they are often not the same.
Regarding Cordelia.
First there is what Cordelia said: "Spike's a hero and you're working for evil...bizarro." " Deal with the devil," etc. She did seem to be speaking for all of us fans who have been yelling (or muttering)--"can't use evil as the means to do good," "won't be long before the beast devours you", etc. Spike has been saying a lot of the same things. And we believe Cordelia is not only speaking for us, but speaking the truth. She's always been the one to confront Angel with the truth. So, we have what Cordelia said
However, then we have the chain of events brought on by Cordelia's presence. (Not what was said, but what really happened.) She woke up and appeared at W & H. Eve called Lindsey. Lindsey decided to take action (perhaps ahead of some unknown schedule?) As a result Angel (and all) are informed about (and there aware of and can defend against) the thing in the basement. Also, Cordelia tells Wes about the runes which results in Lindsey being decloaked and removed). Eve is revealed to be conspiring against the SPs and discredited.
So: Three threats removed: the beast in the basement, Lindsey, Eve (or, if not removed at least temporarily stymied plus the FG's guard is up.)
Then, at the very end Cordelia stuns us all by reversing her advice to Angel. She tells him he can work from within W & H and bend it to his use. Were we not all stunned? I was. Weren't we all sure all season that the "lesson" of the season is you can't do good using evil means; that if you try to work from the belly of the beast all that will happen is that you get digested? Trust Joss--it's never as obvious as it seems on the surface. ' So: Cordelia's words say one thing, but her presence (actions) eventually lead to a very different conclusion--several threats are removed; Angel feels renewed confidence and direction and is empowered. Hmmm.
Say what you will, at the beginning of the episode Angel is ready to quit. Cordelia wakes up, mayhem ensues, Angel decides to stay. Cordelia seems good with that outcome.
Lindsey next.

James Marsters' appearance on the Ryan Seacrest show cause quite a stir among the S'cubies a year ago.

Think about the scene in "Beauty and the Beasts" when a kneeling Angel wraps his arms around Buffy; on his knees, DB is only a foot shorter than the very short (I think 5'3" is as exagerrated as JM's 5'10") SMG; when they stand he is at least ten inches taller.

this makes sense as to why the sprawl makes spike look tall.

In a sprawl, Spike looks tall, But when he's kneeling he's still appealing.

After a serious S'cubie discussion on evolution, Rachael rose to the occasion and set us on the right track to an absolutely hilariously, smutty Angel Wednesday on This Day in S'cubie History. The S'cubies were all over the board in their opinions of the Angel submarine episode - "Why We Fight".
Beck H shared her positive reaction to this thought-provoking episode.

Re: Things that make you go "hmmm"
quote author=Becky H link=board=oldparthome&thread=1087138164&start=159#10 date=1076600960
Judging from the responses I've read, I think I liked this episode more than most (a lot more than Diane).
Here's why:
Just as last week Cordelia was an emissary from the past to remind Angel of who he is and what he should be doing, so too was Lawson this week an emissary. The crucial difference is that Cordelia was, I'm presuming for now, from a place of light and Lawson from a place of darkness. What does it say when the message from across the moral spectrum is " do you even remember what your mission is?"
Second, I think the claustrophobia of the sub was meant to echo the virtual claustrophobia of the FG's W&H existence. The walls are closing in.
Third, does using evil means invariably taint "good" ends? Lawson was vamped, an evil act, but for a good reason and we've seen how that turned out. The FG is using W&H, Evil Incorporated, but for a good reason. Hmmm.
I think this is one of those episodes that will strengthen when we see it in context. Plus, I think they managed to pull off most of the continuity stuff. Angel was still obnoxious enough to keep Spike from realizing Angel's soulful state and thus make their meeting in the corridors of Sunnydale High believable. I do wonder what Drusilla was up to but I expect she was having a fine time back in Berlin.

A year ago, “Angel” had just celebrated its 100th episode, critics hailed Season 5 as the best ever, and its ratings were the best they’ve ever been. Then yep, in true Joss Whedon storytelling fashion, the WB axed its best show on Friday the 13th, which S’ubie Matthew appropriately dubbed the Valentine’s Eve Massacre.
Makd - Part #201 p13
Here's what the WB thinks can beat Angel: another round of Dark Shadows. Well, poo on them, cause I, for one, never watched it, couldn't care.
I'll buy Angel DVDs and watch them instead.
I will write the WB and I will write the sci-fi, and etc.
Goddess, I am depressed right now.
You can't sleep; I can't grade papers.
ooh, ooh, this so fulks up my research!! Oh, no! It just hit me!! the next part of my fandom project is an abort if the show isn't picked up! Bummer10!!
I will never again joke about Friday the 13th.
Hey, Nan? Is this analogous to how a fanfic writer feels when they've been Jossed?
grr. arghh.
I have so much work to do, but I am so pissed right now.
I know --- I'll go beat up a demon! I can hit a demon, right now! Then, I'll...I'll...beat up a network executive....they're probably demons, too!! Yeah, and, and, their lawyers are W&H, and, and,....
I'm gonna go downstairs to the dining room, get the bottle of cuarenta y tres, and pour a double-glass full. Then I'm gonna sit with MOPS....(Maybe I'll bring him a glass, too.)
Damn the WB. I knew it, too! As soon as I read that crap about Dark Shadows, I knew it, just didn't want to believe it.
Hey, Spring--- want to have a virtual drink with me in the Thrall Room? I know you won't be sleeping tonight, and neither will I.....

On Valentine's Day 2004, Gail posted her vision for the perfect ending of Angel. quote author=RAKSHA link=board=oldparthome&thread=1087138236&start=396#26 date=1076792383 Part 116, #396 Spike & Angel
I've always thought that ANGEL would end with a visit from baked Buffy, who tells our boys that she's loved them both and has fallen in love with a human man who is cool with the slayage (an expat American cousin of Giles is what I envision), and leaves. Then Spike and Angel turn to each other in the fog and Spike says that classic line from Casablanca, and Angel smiles ruefully at him, throws a friendly non-slashy arm over Spike's shoulders, and they go off together.....Sniff, sniff.
THINGS I WANT TO SEE HAPPEN BEFORE THE END: 10. Eve dead or turned into a frog 9. Lorne back in charge of an even better CARITAS 8. Harmony getting a raise and promotion so she knows that Being Good pays off 7. A visit from Xander, who has a new young-Slayer girlfriend who thinks he's incredibly hot. 6. Riley and the missus pop by L.A. so they can witness Souled Spike being heroic 5. Gunn either become the new CEO of W&H or realize that you can't get self-respect on the fast track and vows to do it the hard way 4. A visit from Buffy and Dawn; repair of Dawn's relationship with Spike 3. Lindsey becoming stuck with visions by the PTB, and oh yes, jamming with Spike at Caritas 2. Wesley & Fred in love and HAPPY AT LAST 1. SPIKE GETS A NEW COAT AND WEARS A RED OR BLUE SHIRT!

Vlad and Never Say Diequote author= William the Bloodylink=board=oldparthome&thread=1087138300&start=0#0 date=1076837103 Welcome to the Soulful Spike Society. We are glad you joined us. We are a fun and friendly group here. We have very few rules, the two most important being: 1. No spoilers anywhere other than the Spoiled Souls thread. 2. Be kind to others. Differing ideas and opinions are all good but don't bash, bait, or annoy just for perverse enjoyment. If those are your favored posting activities, I advise you to go elsewhere. If you are new and stumbled your way here somehow, please make sure to visit the website at www.soulfulspike.com . There you will find the best in reviews, essays, original fanfiction and far, far more. ******************************* Okay…that's out of the way… Let's talk about the important stuff! Folks, first off, I had to be out of town. I heard the news late last night and I was as shocked as all of you. I wish I had been here to share in that distress. Somehow it always seems I am gone when the shows and websites get axed. Sorry! I haven't had the time to read the threads yet. I will as soon as I write this and get it posted. Now, on with my post… The S3 and the Saving of AngelAs I said to Patti last evening in her moments of distress…. " Don't worry , we ain't goin' anywhere." But, if you all are game, we ARE going to do things. That's what we do at the S 3. Think back: ScoopMe's Buffy Episode Board, always a place for intelligent, articulate posting, became hostile to Spike fans. Alexandra said "bugger this" and started her own thread where civility and goodwill was the key word (and some sort of fascination with Spike….whatever that was all about *wink*), Then BtVS ended last year… and we thought it was THE END. But it wasn't: Spike moved to AtS. Next, ScoopMe closed it's doors. We took it in stride and the improved Soulful Spike Society Website and Message Board grew from it's ashes. Certain people have come and gone, but through it all, we are the same fun, intelligent group of people that gathered around a television show and character. We will still gather around that television show and character. There are over two hundred episodes of AtS and Buffy…and something like nearly half of them feature Spike. Those aren't going anywhere Now, before you think this sounds like giving up, it's not. I am in the process of trying to organize our own "save the show" campaign. I won't go into all the details right now, but I am looking at a combination of email write-ins, actual letters, and a very aggressive friends/neighbors/co-workers plan. On top of that I want to try to appeal to the network's base motive for doing anything: their pocketbook. I think I have an idea that needs to be explored, but, if pursued by us and other associated sites, may demonstrate how much we love this show. This all will not be directed at the WB… they obviously do not want the show. Instead, I believe we need to focus on the show being picked up (similar to BtVS) by another network. There are several good options. First off, I would say UPN. They picked up Buffy and I believe it did well for them. If they are still making money by that association (and I think they will when the DVDs get released from THEIR seasons) they may go for it. Next, I would say SciFi. The audience is perfect and they have had tremendous success with Stargate, a show that is older than Angel but floundered through two other networks and horrible ratings. After those there are FX (who has had great success showing Buffy repeats), TNT (who has had very encouraging numbers from the AtS repeats it airs 5 days a week), and lastly there is FOX (who owns the DVD rights to Angel.) I think the selling features of AtS to be the built-in audience that will follow it from WB to any other channel as did Buffy fans, a chance to maybe get into the merchandising of the DVDs and assorted sundries, and very respectable numbers this season. Also, the sets are already there and there are no HUGE special effects costs since it is story and character driven for the most part. We will write our letters, and our emails, and do every thing within our power to save this show. Of course, none of this will happen if the show doesn’t want to be saved. We have to take in the fact that DB himself may not want to do it any longer. JM may not want to. And I think it is going to take at least one or the other to keep the show (or a possible JM spin-off) alive. I don't see the other characters wanting the show to end yet, and see them as … well, let's not say replaceable, but the show could function without them. But we do have to have the support of Whedon, and the support of DB and/or JM. Okay, I am getting ahead of myself. I have some very intricate plans swirling about in my head about how we can maximize the potential of what we are capable of. Believe it or not, we, the Soulful Spike Society, can be a very strong voice "as is" in the fandom quadrant. But, soon, I will show you how we can possibly be even stronger. But for now, don't give up hope. We haven't even begun to fight. This battle is bigger than saving a website or a chat group. Those are things I knew we could pull off. It just took organization and commitment. And we did it. This is something we can't control. But we can do our damnedest to influence. And I, for one, am going to. I am willing to go as far as I possibly can. Are you? It's going to take every single one of us to become a voice to be heard. And even then, we will only be a mere company in the battle to save AtS and Spike. Don't be discouraged, however. Battles are won by armies. Armies are composed of divisions. Divisions are, in turn, made of companies. And companies are all about their soldiers. You, my fellow S'cubies are the soldiers in this fight. We are S'cubie Company. Every single one of us is going to have to work our butt off. We can't depend on the guy over there, or another website to get the job done. We will do our job, focusing on what we can do. The rest will sort itself out. We have a reason, we have a goal. It's personal to me and you and everyone else here. It's easy to answer the question of "Why We Fight." Because, if we don't, what are the alternatives? Vlad, TA, tp

On the heels of his recent ascension, our own sweet S'cubies' Man-Whore, Matthew, was in the mood to share his favorite filk song and its explanation with us. quote author=Matthew (Mercuric Boride) link=board=oldparthome&thread=1087138300&start=372#24 date=1077001105] Skip this if you don't like tearing up. (I do every time I hear it).I'm quoting this from Tom Smith's own website. He's a fantastic filker who has written so many hilarious songs that words fail me.. I love singing his "When I grow up, I wanna be Peter Lorrie" ... from www.tomsmithonline.com/lyrics/boyfrog.htm"A boy and his frog" Tom Smith's comments on the song: "Jim Henson was a hero of mine. He was creative, he was loving, he made his living helping children learn and making people laugh. It is a wonderful tribute to his talent and power that, when NPR played an old interview with him and Kermit, you could hear the announcer's sad little smile when he apologized for the vocal quality: the sound man had miked the frog. When Mr. Henson died, I had to do something -- and I had to do it quickly, because MarCon was in three days. In a fitting burst of weirdness, this song was written on The Steps at the MarCon hotel, while the con was going on around me, and immediately after writing Bimbo Wizard. I went back up to the hotel room, sang it until I could sing it twice without breaking down, then did my concert, and broke down anyway. That was my first standing ovation. The song won a Pegasus award for Best Filk Song in 1991, and helped me to also win Best Performer and Best Songwriter awards that year. This is my dad's favorite song of mine. But I think and hope no one will be offended if I say that I wish it had never been necessary for me to write it. We miss you, Jim." (sung in a kermit-like voice: ) Life is unfair, so they tell me, Because they think I wouldn't know. They only can see a cheap gimmick On their children's favorite show. They say, "Oh, that's just foam and a wire, Attached to a green velvet sleeve, Anyone can do that" -- well, that's true, I suppose, But who else could make them believe? What can I say without you there to guide me? How else am I supposed to give? How can I sing without you there beside me? How else am I supposed to live? You could never just do the expected, I was just an idea in a bog, But you sewed up your dream and we made quite a team, Jim and Kermit, a boy and his frog. It was me, Rolph, and you, but I think that he knew There was something that you and I had. The magic we made just kept growing, And none of it ever was bad. Then came Ernie and Scooter and Gonzo, Doctor Teeth, Cookie Monster, and more. But now all of those voices are silent, And I want to go on... but what for? No one can make me what you did, No one could walk in your shoes, Nothing can make me forget you, But that's not a thing that I'd choose. I can't just let it be over, And you wouldn't want it that way, So I'll stand up and I'll face it, And, though not quite in your voice, I'll say: I will go on without you there to guide me, There's so much more I can give. Whenever I sing, you will be there beside me, As long as I keep you, you'll live. We just wanted to make people happy, I was always much more than your toy. I will never regret and I'll never forget What we had, I'll miss you, Dad, This frog and his boy. Ah dammit. on the tape I have, his voice breaks on the next-to-last line and I lose it. -Matthew the far-too-maudlin.

One year ago, Lola and Joss both gave us a reason to smile. OK everyone, let’s sing along with Anya!! They’re not just cute, like everybody supposes; They got those squishy hands and removable, felt noses …. Puppets, puppets, it must be puppets!!! I don’t even wanna try to find the meaningful, deep significance of this show – I just wanna list all the stuff that made me laugh so hard I’d spit out my retainer if I had one. (All right, I’ll put whatever serious stuff I think of in the next post.) The funnies: • “And the hair!” “You’re fired.” • "I do not have puppet cancer!” • The eyebrows, my god, the eyebrows • "You heard the puppet.” • What a great little actor the Angel puppet was – he had the walk down pat, the insecure puppydog upward glances. • “Is there a reason you won’t look at me?” “’Cuz I’m under my desk.” • “You’re a wee little puppet man!” • The whole entire puppet Angel/Spike fight – the elevator, the watching crowd – priceless. If I didn’t already worship at the altar of Joss, I would now be a believer. This is a conversion moment. • “I was turned into a puppet last night.” “Are you ok?” “I’m made of felt and my nose comes off.” • “Should reverse your puppet problem.” “I love you guys.” • The dramatic slo-mo walk with puppet Angel in the lead – sword over shoulder, battle scarred from Nina trying to eat him. • “Hey, man! You’re ruining the show!” • The fight with the big purple squeaky thing – ripping off its horn and the stuffing shooting out – and Fred saved Wes just like Wes saved her on the roof. Only, you know, funny instead of “holy crap!” • “Tear you a new puppet hole, bitch.” And the puppet sliding down the TV screen. • OMG – the vampire puppet! Lola quote author=Lola m link=board=oldparthome&thread=1087138418&start=72#4 date=1077162484 Alright – here’s the “serious” stuff – if we must have it. My few pathetic thoughts, such as they are. As usual, I don’t offer any real insights, answers or resolutions – just questions and ideas that crossed my mind tonight. Creepy sexual vibe coming off that first scene and all the ones where they were draining the life force out of the kids. Smile time’s not free. Always a price to be paid. Yeah! Knox is out, Wes is in! Go Fred for just being absolutely clear to “rather dense” Wes. Isn’t it always true that we give the best advice to others (like his to Angel) and are lousy at giving it to ourselves? Gunn! Dude, how right were we all?! Flowers for Algernon, indeed. But worse, he took the new deal from creepy doctor guy. Who knew just what buttons to push, didn’t he? “I’d never make a deal with the real you.” (And I liked “X-ray vision, very now” too – doesn’t fit with my theme I’m presenting here, just liked the line. “I make my own drugs” was a creepier throw-away line, but I liked the other one better.) Self esteem is for everyone; self esteem is how you get it done. Gee, anyone catch any ironic (considering the timing of this show) TV commentary? Or was it too subtle? The “quality edu-tainment” conversation. Ratings were low so he made a deal with the devil Hmmmmmm. I can’t quite get what Joss is trying to say here. Good on Nina and Wes! Adding to the truths told by Cordy, they both told Angel what he needed to hear. Wes just cutting right through the whole “perfect happiness” saga. Nina saying “what do you care what people think – you’re a hero”. Perfect! I’m very happy now. Lola

A year ago, "Smile Time" had just aired and our own Gentleman S'cubie, John G posted his insightful and own unique perspective on Gunn.
quote author=John G link=board=oldparthome&thread=1087138418&start=259#17 date=1077205441
I'm so loving the way they've finally, in your face shown the underlying problems Gunn has had, and why he's done what he's done. It's sad, but there's so much to be explored here, and I commend the writers for being bold enough to do it. W.E.B. DuBois famously wrote of the African-American dual-conscious, his double-identity, his "two-ness" as both American and outsider. And the struggle that goes on internally. It's a hard fight, and difficult to maintain yourself when trying to assimilate. Gunn's character is exploring that assimilation, that two-ness gone horribly wrong. I just hope that when they do finally resolve this, or show the details leading up to whatever end they have planned, their equally bold in exploring this.
EDIT: Found the exact quote: One ever feels his twoness,--an American, a Negro; two souls, two thoughts, two unreconciled strivings; two warring ideals in one dark body, whose dogged strength alone keeps it from being torn asunder.
Gunn is clearly losing his strength.

One year ago, Spike's Finnish Maiden, Reetta, posted her excellent "Smile Time" insights.
quote author=Reetta link=board=oldparthome&thread=1087138484&start=267#17 date=1077305397
My so- called random thoughts (or something of the kind) on this week’s episode:
I watched “Double or Nothing” the other day. I feel very Groosalugg- like right now, stating the blatantly obvious. Well, actually I feel like that every time I come here but well, I mean, I, anyway… My thoughts just usually die their natural death as I’m thinking about them (as I think I read Matthew say some time ago. That’s exactly the kind of “excuse” I can see myself using. If you don’t mind, Matt, that is). Also, as Alexandra said in the “This Day in S’cubie History”, being non- analytical to the nth degree, it always surprises me when I get anything.
I liked it. Well, looks like the hell really is all around us. The puppet idea is exactly the kind of thing you feel very suspicious of at first, at least if it was someone else than Joss was doing it. Only in the first scene I felt the ick-eww factor.
I don’t have the faintest idea what is the meaning of all these things is but I noticed all the references to seeing, touching, hearing, smelling etc. Especially seeing. All the characters are making false assumptions, or seeing just one side of things. The scientist Gunn goes to see gives the other man the dark glasses (i.e. blinders?). What’s with the “all the signs are there, you just gotta know where to look”? Pretending not see it, or pretending that it does not exist, whatever the it is. What about the "He might just as well walk into a nuclear reactor and lick the core" (paraphrasing here)? Obviously, there are more than enough references to ignorance and not seeing the signs while you are looking straight at them. The action math news and the song reminded me of the saying (I’m not sure how it goes exactly) that the result is not just the sum of all its parts. Maybe I’d better shut up. Like I said, I don’t have the faintest idea of what I’m talking about (when do I ever?).
I absolutely love seeing Fred and Wesley together. Took long enough. I don’t think Wes was being clueless in this episode though, just really cautious and not having the courage to believe that he could have any chance with Fred (I’ve read some of your comments, but not all of them, and neither of the reviews yet). Of course, if things go as they usually do in the Jossverse, it won’t take long before tragedy strikes (just for the record, I’m unspoiled for the rest of the season so I don’t know what is going to happen). But, but… they can’t do anything bad to Wes, because that would be just too much, and Fred is basically the only woman in the show. On a related note, Wes in that black turtleneck – man, Alexis Denisof looks good. Unbelievably gorgeous. He makes my heart beat almost as fast as Spike/JM does. For that, I can even forgive the writers for not giving us enough Spike. A few other precious moments: - Angel and Wes talking about feelings, and then being thankful when Fred arrives with the case - Angel’s “I love you guys!” - “I’m gonna tear you a new puppet hole, bitch.” - “No Nina, bad Nina” (I laugh at stupid things) - the entire Spike/Angel puppet fight (though there was not enough Spike, that scene was funny) - someone (Sue?) also mentioned JM’s genuine smile on that same scene. I agree that it was nice to see. - the fangy puppet Angel
The Fury gets the job done. As much as I don’t like some of the things he makes the characters do as a writer, he really can act. That “You wanna talk to the hand?” scene seriously gave me the wiggins. Let me elaborate on that, I agree that he is a good writer, I just really, really, really don’t like some of the things he makes the characters do (more than with the other writers). If that makes any sense.
Gunn scares me. I sure hope that he didn’t, but I believe he made the deal with the not-all-there scientist. Last but not least, the stupid foreigner asks what the h*ll was the towel man’s name? Did they just call him Nasty? Though I am sure that is not what they said, it sounded like Nasdaq to me - like the stock market term? It’s not really important, just bothers me.
Well, that sounded a lot more coherent in my head, but then again, everything always does. Coherent for me, that is. My coherence does not even come close to the coherence of the rest of you.

Gosh, Techno-slut - not only are you slutty, but you're kinda mean too. I hated to say that, and believe me, I plan to follow all your rules, but couldn't you be a little less trampy and bitchy? Why can't you be more like Techno-bot? She is so chirpy and cheerful and nice. She always calls us "Friends" and stuff. Just a suggestion Techno-slut. And may I add, you are looking lovely today.
