Smallville-Topic of InterestLionel-Lex relationship: I maintain that despite everything Lionel has done to Lex, he truly does love his son. Lex cannot see that, and who could blame him? Lex's conflict with his father plays a large part in the dark path he is going down. I'm curious as to other people's opinions on their relationship Well - I've only seen this season, but - I guess whether or not Lionel loves Lex depends on how you define love. Lionel is certainly not indifferent to Lex, and vice-versa. I definitely agree that Lionel has a huge influence on Lex. The whole feeling I get is that everything Lex does is about Lionel - proving himself to Lionel, proving him right while trying to prove him wrong, trying to get back at him, etc. Lionel cannot separate himself at all from Lex, and basically sees Lex as an extension of himself, as a version of himself . . . and Lionel's treatment of Lex reflects this.

Are there any BSG watchers out there? See if you can answer the following questions: What was Executive Officer Tigh's first name originally slated to be in the show and what was it changed to?

The son always seeking approval from the father, the father looking to "live on" in the son. Somewhat normal roles, just warped by the . . . extreme way that the Luther's live them out. We saw the same dynamic between Clark and his dad, just - you know - in a healthy way, for the most part. Interesting question, Liz. I also wonder how much of Lionel's actions and personality in the past year or so is influenced by "extraterrestrial mental visitor" Jor-El? Also, interestingly enough, a father.

It's time for more Veronica Mars trivia! Some of Veronica Mars’ guest parts and recurring roles were played by actors who were better known for the television shows on which they previously appeared. - What two guest stars dated at one time?
Hint #1: She starred in a movie that he directed. Hint #2: For those who've experienced sleepless nights wondering about the answer to this question, the answer is: Kevin Smith and Joey Lauren Adams! Adams starred in Smith’s film Chasing Amy, which Smith wrote and is based on his relationship with her. [/center] Joey Lauren Adams played the journalism teacher who ultimately gets fired in "Weapons of Class Destruction." Kevin Smith played the slimy convenience store clerk profiting off the death of the bus driver in "Driver's Ed."

What a long strange trip it's going to be, with opportunities aplenty to test your knowledge of trivial Doctor Who facts! Don't wait! The Tardis leaves tonight! Christopher Ecclestone was not a fan of Doctor Who and hadn't watched the show. In order to prepare for the role, he watched DVDs of something. What did he watch and what is the name of actor who starred in the production Ecclestone watched? Only two crew members of the current show worked on the original Doctor Who. Who are they and what are their jobs? Which previous "Doctors" were considered for guest spots in the 2005 series?

Veronica Mars- Topic of InterestUnderstanding Cassidy: So he turns out to be a molested, psychotic mass murderer. Who knew? Who got taken by surprise? Looking back how can we better understand his character's personality and action in light of this revelation? Today I ran across a compilation of Cassidy scenes that some one put together in an effort to understand his character better. vmcp.nfshost.com/

Okay, CE said he didn't want to see any of the previous Doctors, but someone (no doubt Russel T. Davies) got him to watch "The Talons of Weng Chang" with Tom Baker. This was a very good choice and CE was suitably impressed with Mr Baker's performance. Two crew members? You've got me there. I know that Graeme Harper, director of the Fifth Doctor's swan song "The Caves of Androzani", directed the Season 2 (28) finale. Hmmm. I await the answers with interest! I didn't know any past Doctors were considered, but the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) is the only one I can think of. Because he's the only one still young enough! Edit: LOL! Sara beat me!
