I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest we may need to brush up on our math/science for this one...

Desmond-centric?
They're gonna lose Naomi's corpse out the door if they're not careful.
Oh. Desmond's gone unstuck again.
Double-unstuck, it appears.

Juliet kicks ass. And Charlotte's got great eyes.
"Maybe if you talk real slow, we'll be able to follow"
variable time slippage.
What KIND of side effects?
Meanwhile, back at t he helicopter... woohoo! THERE IS a freighter!
Crap. And Desmond would bugger off to a point where he doesn't remember Penelope.
Brain-swappie cloud thingie.
Poor Desmond! he was on the helicopter for a moment. God, it sucks to be living a Vonnegut novel..
Oh, he HAS met Penelope by that time. Did he not recognize himself with the facial hair?
WAAAH! Poor boy!
Fisher? Unstuck too?

Okay, so they jumped forward in time about a day.
Dude, you put him on speakerphone?!
Uh.. radiation?! Well, yes.
Not amnesia. Billy Pilgrimitis.
Ah, the wonders of Thorazine.
You not comin' nowheres near me with no needle in your hand, creepy doctor bastard!
*sigh* Back to the past.
So he doesn't have his normal future memories, despite all the hopping about.
Yeah, I'd give up and say "Woohoo! Hello to the crazy!" after hopping around like that. Poor Desmond.
So Farraday is trying to work out the slip? Oh, he's sending him to meet himself.
THIS IS SO AWESOME

Flying right into the storm because . . . ? Because it's the only heading that will work, but it's a hell of a ride, perhaps?
Oh, and Desmond is hoping about in time again! Woo hoo!
Oooooooooooooooooh, and he lost his memory in the time jump! Or else was never really there? Or has been having a whole false memory of the island imposed on him? Or . . . ?

Why aren't you worried? Why don't we just tell them? Aha!!! Yes, tells them about the time difference! Damn! They're actually gonna make it to the ship? Whoa! Now, that is a genuine surprise! Hmmmmmm. The boat guy knows something about what's wrong with Des. Ooooh! "I'm not supposed to be here." "You are here. And this is supposed to be happening." Ooooh! An answer! They're in the Pacific - last port was Fiji. Holy moley, Rocky! Tied down crazy guy - "It's happening to you too."

Wow, Amazing.. What does Dan remind me of?
"the things Oxford frowns upon"
And this explains the memory issues. Retrograde amnesia?
Unstick eloise in time! I'm right! Vonnegut!
"Oh, this doesn't do jack for you, Desmond. But it makes loads of progress for my project"
So he's Minkowski?
"Under strict orders never to answer it" Penelope knows about them, but she's lost control of them.

Huh. I didn't even notice the change from evening to day. Huh.
And there's the answer to not being able to call any other place.
High levels of electromagnatism. Uh huh. This is not amnesia. This is coming loose from time, dude!
Oh, how very interesting! Telling Des in the past how to find Daniel in the past so that they can figure this all out! Heeeee! I love it, it so twisty!

Huh. Is Eloise dead?
Well, probably, Desmond, as you're gonna have it happen at an awkward time, like he said.
Penelope is his anchor. his CONSTANT!!! Wahoo! title! MEANS NOTHING mathematically, but plenty, shakespearically!
great, he jumped while on the stairs. Gerald Ford.
"Two days ago someone sabotaged all the equipment" I wonder who.
"through the door" I... what?
Owie.
1845. for the Black Rock.
Tovard Hanso!
Who are all these James Bond extras biddng on the journal?
Oh, Mr. Widmore.
So this is why he was reluctant to let Desmond date his daughter. He's seen the crazy desperate bit.
And yet he "helps"
Bastard! not shutting off the water!
And switch..
It looks interesting from the outside.
heh. More than a minute..
uh oh. his bain is leaking..
Bye, Fisher.

I love how Sayid is helping Demond!
Giving him info that will convince him in the past. Cool!
"I think I've just been to the future." I. Love. This!!! ;D
"You can't change the future." Ha!!
"What's that for?" "Radiation." "Do I get one?" Heeee!!
Rat in a maze. Gee, remind us of the Island Others, eh?
Oh! The crazy guy is the radio guy - Minkowski! And it's a flashing light thingee again. And now there is a connection to Penolope? WTF?!? ?? !

whew. Still got Penny's address.
And Penelope listens. "Eight years from now, I need to call you, nad I can't call you if I don't have that number"
Wow. Eight years. No wonder she was named Penelope.
Woohoo! We get Penelope-callage at last! Taking your time to get to the phone, Pen.
YAY!
And she mentioned Charlie... and he tells her he loves her.. and this hopefully will keep his brain from 'sploding.
Wonder if he'll remember the past eight years at any time?
Yep, it all came back to him.
Desmond will be Dan's constant? He can barely remember how to tie his shoes!

Oooops. Dead rat. That can't be good. Although, if you survived all the electromagntism and the island and so on, something tells me you can survive the time hopping too. Ah, find a "constant". Is Penelope his constant? Oh! And he tells Penelope to call him on the boat, he starts her searching for him!!! Yay!! Oh. All the communication equipment has been sabotaged by "someone". Yeah, that wouldn't be Ben's "someone", would it? Minkowski is gonna die like a rat, 'cuz he's got no constant. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Black Rock!! And the first mate's journal. Which was owned by Hanso. Oh my oh my oh my. Damn we're getting so very very very many connections! Whidmore buys the journal and learns about the island, which Hanso and the Dharma people already knew about. So, it is a competition between Dharma and the Whidmore empire? Or . .. ? Minkowski and another guy went out to see the island and got nabbed by the time problem thing. The Captain is not a good guy, aparently, and Sayid? Sayid is not happy! Bloody eyes? Also not good. Next he's gonna be yelling about no one replacing the toner.
