Cavil, I'm convinced, is truly just in it for Cavil. And so what he says changes as he needs to to get his way, I'm thinking. Believing in things, not believing, machine, not-machine, kill all the humans, save the ones that fit my plans, etc. It all comes back to Cavil-izing things, not any real sincere anything, IMHO. But I might be having that opinion just because he's icky!! ;D heh. it's a plausible theory, but i don't know if it's true. sometimes it seems like he knows more than he's saying. and like some others, i wonder if there is significance to the ordering of the models. I agree. I get the feeling that he knows way more than he's telling and may, in fact, know the identity of the last remaining unknown model. Hey, when are you going to choose a Master S'cubie name, Artemis? ;D

that's how i interpreted it. i don't know if we were supposed to draw that conclusion, though. it's really interesting, isn't it? cavil in particular - he seems to express all these differing viewpoints that aren't entirely internally consistent. and he seemed to be saying that he thought that because the others believed in god, they have souls, whereas because he does not believe, he does not have a soul. Cavil, I'm convinced, is truly just in it for Cavil. And so what he says changes as he needs to to get his way, I'm thinking. Teaser
That's a little unceremonious. Oh, he's newly downloaded Cavil.
"His ship." Was it really "his ship" or did he just always think of it that way?
Ethnic cleansing.
Teach me not not to trust democracy. Yep, democracy's a tricky creature. Means it's not always just about you.
And Boomer's kissing him? Why???
Cally.
Echoes of the music.
And one of those kaleidoscope light thingies.
Domestic conflict.
Oh, yeah, Tyrol's been off doing secret powwows with the other Final Four. That's why Cally's been stuck with more parenting and getting more frazzled.
Tyrol looks like he's losing it.
Cally sees Tyrol and Tory and gets the wrong idea. Oh, no. But seriously, you Final Four are being really careless.
Tory likes being one of the Final Four? Uses it to justify otherwise unacceptable behavior.

Part I
More cancer treatments for Roslin.
Love and Bullets. Romance or Mystery? Maybe a combo of both.
So I guess Roslin and Adama made up.
Zarek!
Lee is nominated to be a member of the Quorum. He's going to become president eventually, isn't he?
About the Demetrius and Kara's mission.
So Roslin knows about Kara's mission.
So Roslin and Adama are still working together, but tensions remain.
Kara's mission, Day 22. So she should get there in another week or so.
Oh, Gaeta went with Kara. And Anders, Seelix, and Athena. And Helo, of course. The crew is beginning to doubt her.
Trinary star system.
So now Kara's asking for blind faith.
Cavil and Six meeting 2.0. Cavil is concilatory.
6 and 8 want D'Anna unboxed.
6 wants to unite all the models.
The Centurions wait until she says "please." Hee!

Part II
Lee's first Quorum meeting.
Roslin is not the type to forgive and forget.
Zarek's appraisal of Lee.
Zarek's appraisal of Roslin.
About benevolent tyrants. And Roslin's not a tyrant.
Classified documents. Interesting.
Ooh, would Doc Cottle be able to tell anything about Tyrol being a Cylon?
Doc Cottle just pretends to be a bastard. Hee.
About the Callie's proposal to Tyrol after he beat her up. Thank you for bringing that up again, show.
Oh, and Cally's smoking too. Great.
Now Kara's painting a mural?
Ander's trying to talk sense into Kara.
About Kara and Ander's marriage now. But unlike Callie and Tyrol, theirs is based on something deeper.
Don't give in, Anders! Oh, well. That's some nice nookie.

shit man...that was harsh...no matter how much i hated her whining....that was harsh... Yup, it was harsh. But then I remembered Callie shooting a handcuffed woman—both out of hate and out of jealousy—in cold blood, and figured the karmic wheel had finally spun back around for Callie. This isn't to say what Tori did wasn't deplorable, 'cause it was. But for some reason I suspect Tigh might have done the same thing, and that makes me less certain of how I feel about Tori's actions.

Part III Kara senses something different. Like she's watching everything, but not experiencing anything. Everyone's agreed to bring back D'Anna. So they can run out of bodies. Central Resurrection Hub. Quorum Meeting. Doubt about Roslin knowing the route to Earth. And that's probably why she was refusing to entertain Kara's story. Didn't want to lose control over the fleet. Lee tries to make peace. Order 112 Tribunals. Way to spin things, Roslin. Oh, so Cavil gave up on diplomacy and just decided to blow the shit out of everyone. They started it. And that's how all family feuds begin. Now Boomer has doubts. Machines, no souls. Secret note. Ah, the meeting place. Now Cally knows there's something more going on. Or that they're going to have group sex. So the Galactica has Jeffries tubes. So now Cally knows. But Tory knows that they were spied on. Now this will be a pleasant conversation. Whole relationship flashing before Cally's eyes. Cally beats up Tyrol, takes the baby, and runs. Where is she going to go? OMG, is she going to airlock Nicky? Tory shows up to stop Cally. Wait, Cally's going to airlock herself too? Holy Crap. And Tory backhands Cally? That's not going to help with the trusting you part. Unless this is a hallucination. Holy Crap, Tory really did airlock Cally?

Nice speech, Chief. Heck, you even say "let's have another little hybrid baby". Holy moley! I wasn't expecting that! She smacked him down! But if somehing happens to her before she tells, then everyone will just think it was jealousy. WTF? Is she gonna space herself and the baby? Tory actually tells her the truth. And wants to make sure Cally and the baby are OK? Or is this all a ploy? And Tory is so lost. Oh. Yes. She's gonna save the hybrid baby and herself and . . . and kill Callie, maybe? It's a perfect plot, really. And it worked. Is it horribly horribly wrong of me that I was happy to see Callie spaced? **hangs head sort of in shame, only not really** 'Cuz I really don't like Cally. I always liked her. But I bet a lot of Cally-haters are cheering right now. That kind of makes me sad.

Huh. I'll be the first to admit that Cally is, er, was more than a bit unstable and self-destructive, but Tori just gave up any and all moral authority she may have had, what with her whole "murdering someone" method of trying to get along, here. That's just not right. Oh, definitely. I mean, yes she was saving herself, but that could be accomplished by incapacitating Cally and getting all of them out of the airlock area. And then work on convincing her not to rat them out. This was a cold-blooded killing. But at least she saved the hybrid baby . . . Well, she's got the sociopathic justification thing going on...

It was cold-blooded, but I don't really think she had an alternative. There was no way she, or anyone else, was going to convince Cally to not rat them out. Tory made an interesting point: she doesn't know if she's a machine, but she doesn't think she's evil. Well, that remains to be seen, but if Cally had told everyone that she and the others are secret Cylons, there would be no chance to find out. They'd be as dead as she is. Back to the vomiting, I wondered if that was a hint that she and the Chief were going to have another baby (like he talked about), but then she was killed, so we'll never know. And, I'm joining you in the not liking Cally club. I did like her haircut in this episode, however. ;D

Yeah, but that look the cleaning Centurion gave Six was truly chilling and I think rather foreshadowy. i agree! that was the point at which i decided that cavil was right about six & co. opening a bigger can of worms than they realized.

I get the feeling that he knows way more than he's telling and may, in fact, know the identity of the last remaining unknown model. and perhaps that would be a reason for him not wanting to talk about the final five and being so adament about the others not doing so as well. and remove the aura of mystery? really it's just that i've never thought of one i like enough to commit to.
