Back to the vomiting, I wondered if that was a hint that she and the Chief were going to have another baby (like he talked about), but then she was killed, so we'll never know. i was wondering during the episode if that was where they were going, actually. and if she'd been feeling "off" since the nebula because she got pregnant while they were in it. i guess we'll never know for sure now.

I thought she threw up because of the emotional distress. As someone whose stress takes her in the stomach every single time, I totally get that. Also, she had quite a lot of medication going on, which could contribute to the puky factor. And which would also make the idea of being pregnant a VERY bad one, IMO.

That's what I was thinking too, that it had to do with stress and distress and medication. And it seemed to me when I was watching that Cally threw up in response to seeing Tory and Tyrol together, so I just attributed it to discovering what she thought was Tyrol cheating on her. Which would make anyone nauseous. Or was that just the viewer I was using?

Or was that just the viewer I was using? yeah, i definitely understand throwing up in response to stress. i wasn't just thinking of the actual throwing up though, but the shaky camera work and disorienting camera angles they kept using during her scenes, like she was dizzy or nauseated or something. however, now that you bring up the medications, i realize that it could have just been a side effect of them; i hadn't thought of that during the episode.

As someone that recently felt extreme queasiness due to opiate painkillers (for the first time in my life!) I simply figured she was doing way too many of whatever the doc had prescribed for her. Roslin having treatment again and awwwwww, Adama is being all caring and book read-y. Awwwww! Wow. I forgot how good lookin' Lee is in a suit . . . **goes to shallow happy place** Ahem. OK, politics and stuff. Everybody putting a plastic happy face on things, lots of bland B.S. and platitudes and then, "that's enough questions". "I'm gonna be covering for you for a long time on this." Oopsie! Mommy and daddy are disagreeing. Obsesso Kara. Gaeta!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy happy happy squeee!!! And not-Boomer. Oh and Helo and Anders together on the same ship? Damn! Happy sweaty fun times ahead! Woot! **continues hoping for threesome or foursome or moresome** More Chief and Cally unbliss. I love this Six and Cavil convo and the sideways Boomer glances. Ooooh! Unbox the D'annas, unite the 12 models once and for all! Woo! Oh, that was lovely. "Escort him off the ship. . . . Please." ;D Yeah, but that look the cleaning Centurion gave Six was truly chilling and I think rather foreshadowy. Completely!!

Okay. Didn't anyone else go to a BtVS Season 6 kind of place with Kara wanting sex and being all destructive and cruel, in order "just to feel" something? Cuz, I sure did. ;D Nice comparison. And a BtVS season 6 place is a good kind of place to go, isn't it?

Cavil, I'm convinced, is truly just in it for Cavil. And so what he says changes as he needs to to get his way, I'm thinking. Believing in things, not believing, machine, not-machine, kill all the humans, save the ones that fit my plans, etc. It all comes back to Cavil-izing things, not any real sincere anything, IMHO.But I might be having that opinion just because he's icky!! ;D He's the Baltar of the Cylons, eh? <edit> At least in the self-serving, icky way. Oh, nice one!

Part II Lee's first Quorum meeting. Roslin is not the type to forgive and forget. Zarek's appraisal of Lee. Zarek's appraisal of Roslin. That was a rather revealing and intriguing series of moments, wasn't it? **nods** Some very nice nookie.

Part III Kara senses something different. Like she's watching everything, but not experiencing anything. Everyone's agreed to bring back D'Anna. So they can run out of bodies. Central Resurrection Hub. Quorum Meeting. Doubt about Roslin knowing the route to Earth. And that's probably why she was refusing to entertain Kara's story. Didn't want to lose control over the fleet. Lee tries to make peace. Order 112 Tribunals. Way to spin things, Roslin. Oh, so Cavil gave up on diplomacy and just decided to blow the shit out of everyone. They started it. And that's how all family feuds begin. Now Boomer has doubts. Machines, no souls. Secret note. Ah, the meeting place. Now Cally knows there's something more going on. Or that they're going to have group sex. So the Galactica has Jeffries tubes. So now Cally knows. But Tory knows that they were spied on. Now this will be a pleasant conversation. Whole relationship flashing before Cally's eyes. Cally beats up Tyrol, takes the baby, and runs. Where is she going to go? OMG, is she going to airlock Nicky? Tory shows up to stop Cally. Wait, Cally's going to airlock herself too? Holy Crap. And Tory backhands Cally? That's not going to help with the trusting you part. Unless this is a hallucination. Holy Crap, Tory really did airlock Cally? The red? **nods a lot** Family feuds, wars, etc.

shit man...that was harsh...no matter how much i hated her whining....that was harsh... Yup, it was harsh. But then I remembered Callie shooting a handcuffed woman—both out of hate and out of jealousy—in cold blood, and figured the karmic wheel had finally spun back around for Callie. This isn't to say what Tori did wasn't deplorable, 'cause it was. But for some reason I suspect Tigh might have done the same thing, and that makes me less certain of how I feel about Tori's actions. It's hard to see how she would have done anything else...I don't know what *I'd* do, in that situation, but - if you don't want to get blown out an airlock, and there's only one other (non-Cylon) who knows what you are...what do you do? Not that, ethically, I guess, but it's very...human.

Okay - could someone summarize what happened in the political meeting (I was distracted during that scene) and what happened with the Cylons? (killing, Boomer macking - it's a bit of a jumble)
As I say, I didn't get to focus on this very well and really the only thing that I caught was the Tori,Callie stuff and the Kara stuff.
I loved the dark, twisted nature of this episode and whoo hoo for Star Trek shout outs in the 1701D weapons locker.

Ah. Yes. The karmic wheel does keep a spinning. And there is a reason why there is the comparison being made here. I wonder what the chief is going to think when he figures out what really happened to his wife. Will he be relieved? It will also be interesting when Boomer finds out the Chief is a cylon. Oh- I had an interesting thought. What if the 12th cylon is Helo - and Boomer's baby is the first whole cylon child?
