When it turned out to be Missile Command from Atari, I about choked because jsut a couple months ago Frazer and I were having a male geek discussion about the classic games of old vs. the glossy stuff of today, and I told him that possibly one of hte best games ever was a game called Missile Command, which he had never heard of. I used to be quite the hot shot at it at the arcade, and could roll it over and over and over on the old Atari 2600 console. And yes, I used to listen to music on my Walkman while playing. So, when we were watching Chuck and the entire plot revolved around this game, he jsut stared at me. I jsut grinned and buffed my nails. "See, I could have saved the world, too." He gave me a grin back. It was a "moment", you know? Vlad

Wait, wait, wait- isn't that fountain the same one as the one in front of Giles' apartment in of Buffy?
Julia, how did I miss that before?

New assistant manager Emmet is a real weasel, isn't he? Oh, Chuck. Chuck. Chuck! Way to be smooth, dude. Aaaaaand of course her boss is known in the intersect. "When you say 'reconnect', you mean send her an email or invite her to be my new facebook friend, right?" "She slept with Bryce Larson." "Who hasn't?" Oh, snap! Woo hoo!! Captain Awesome! Heh! Jeff, of course, is totally ready to "pound some plastic". OMG OMG OMG Casey's disguise??!!?!?!! The . . . wig and the glasses and the little goatee!!

Oh ouch. "I'm not like you, Sara. I can't turn my emotions on and off like some robot." Oh, I would kill the Buy More guys!! Can't catch a clue with a giant net, those guys. Cap't Awesome coming in and they're all goofing around with the CPR dummies? "Come on guys! What's wrong with you?!" "I drink too much." "My parents had impossible standards." We think Chuck might have rabies?? That's the cover story they came up with?!?

Dude. He can't win for losing with this girl, can he? And why the hell would they have it set so that they could be overheard on the wiretap?! Heh! Casey, with the tissues and the "get it all out" and the wastepaper basket and desk cleaner. ;D Oh oh oh and teasing Chuck and the wink!! Heeee! Chuck putting his foot down "gingerly" and Casey with the flag comment and the eyes!! I'm so happy I'm swooning. ;D Buy More guys? That is the worst cheating I have ever seen in my life. Seriously. Oh nooooooo!! Save Casey, Chuck!! Save Casey!! And he gets to look like a total badass cool guy in front of her. Awesome! Except that means going into the danger zone. Noooo! The guy was with the CIA? What? They choked Jeff. So they could copy the steps for the Heimlich. I am . . . sort of scarily impressed. And afraid, of course. Yes, afraid. And liplock!!! Score!!! Yes!!! No death with dignity for you, Casey. Instead you get to have the memory of a Chuck kiss and that is so way better. Oh Sara. Well, it's not like you haven't done this kind of thing to him, a time or two.

This week's episode of Chuck was beyond awesome. So funny and so good. I echo all your comments Lola. I think I loved every minute of this episode. Quite possibly my favorite episode this season.
Wow - was that good!

I had totally forgotten that Chuck had mentioned in the pilot about having a girlfriend.
And the CPR test totally doesn't work that way. It's like 15 questions, takes 10 minutes or less, and you can totally get the answers from the book.
Loved the picture of Casey on Chuck's iPhone. ;D

I'm guessing that the Chuck/Casey kiss was supposed to be a fan service, but I didn't think it was that funny or that hot. I also don't know whether Chuck spitting into Casey's mouth would have been more or less disturbing.

I love watching Chuck. But apparently I don't find many deep thinky thoughts (ala Buffy, Angel, Firely or Veronica Mars) to post about. It's just fun. (And, they do manage to get at least one shot per episode of her in her underwear. Bonus points for Chuck in his. (Regarding Chuck's black boxers----not what you'd expect from his nerd persona.)) There. A thinky thought about his underwear!

Also, does anyone know artist/title for the "don't find love in a hole" song that's playing when Ellie is uncovered? googling those words puts me in a hole. Julia, also, HOW CAN I STILL BE HALF ASLEEP? ?

Julia, also, HOW CAN I STILL BE HALF ASLEEP? ? Do you mean when Jill is revealed as a Fulcrum agent? I found a site that says it's "Keep Yourself Warm," by Frightened Rabbit.
