Is this where the election night party is? Oh - this is just so . . . I don't even have the words for it! Amen. (Allie has gone into Chicago with friends. Fortunately she is meeting up with SIL Barb who has a friend with a condo high above Michigan Ave. So they can see Grant Park without having to actually be there. Carolyn has improv class but thinks she'll join them when it is over. Barb took my 12 year old nephew into town so years and years from now he can say "I was there.") What stations are you all watching? I mostly lean toward CNN, mainly because their numbers are so BIG and easy to read. I'm all about the numbers. And I love John King's county by county analyses.

I confess I'm watching the House marathon on USA. I'm tracking the vote using the map up above, and the more conservative approach over at fivethirtyeight. And I'm going to go over to that British Guy Oliver's blog, too.

I keep refreshing google news and 538, cause no tv. I can't see the widget at the top of the board, I think because I blocked the ads. I'm too lazy to try to fix it. This is really exciting.

We're watching CNNHD. Their graphics remind me of the iPhone. Very cool.

It really is. And it is starting to get to me. I'm trying to stay cool, but this is so jawdroppingly amazing it's scary.

I'd love to be in Chicago tonight. My co-worker asked me if I'd feel afraid being a white woman and all. From what I've seen, the crowd is pretty mixed. It's an amazing scene. And - no, I wouldn't feel intimidated.

It's kind of a quiet party over here . . . looks like some places are calling Ohio for Obama already. This is a great sign for Obama. I can't remember the last time Ohio went for the losing candidate.
What a night.
I am kinda missing Tim Russert.

I don't have much to say because I'm watching and reading too many things at once. It's making my noggin hurt.

It's over.
RNN (the Rachael News Network) is calling it.
Add the 73 votes from CA, WA, and OR to the 200 Obama already has, and - it's over.

Thanks to RNN for choosing the S3 in which to make your call. Who needs NBC, CBS, ABC, or any of the rest? You heard it here first, people.

Well, to paraphrase a T-shirt I saw last week (and I'm sure it isn't "official Obama wear"):
Yes We Motherfulking Can!
