Peter, Mohinder, and gods help us, Hiro have all turned from heroes into monsters; unless Hiro/Ando had some kind of plan and the stabbing was part of it. But it's awful to see Peter become psycho-Sylar. And I still think Sylar is conning everyone except possibly Claire - who I think he respects, and wants to suborn. And Papa Petrelli is the Eebil Mastermind? Oh-kay. i couldn't agree more!

So who decked Monroe, and what was that corpse he dumped off the van? Who is this guy, and who does he work for? "Oh, Tracy, we don't care about you" "divided the formula and hid it" because we were simple-minded morons. Angela Petrelli still strikes me as being more like Angela Landsbury from Manchurian Cantidate than ever. I can't feel much pity for her. Woohoo! Spider-Mo-Mo is gonna get flushed out into the light! Huh. he's already cocooned Maya. So she's gonna get Canfield to surrender the easy way? Huh! kill Sylar for freedom. This is interesting, because if I recall correctly, Sylar has the super-hearing package add-on... Noah, squishify his brains before Sylar gets ahold of him.. Oh. he did himself. Well, that's one way to assert your moral superiority. "we are the worst heroes ever!!!" I do adore Ando. NEVER say "it can't get any worse" "Yes! We are very badass!" What IS fear-man's name? Hah! the other two are all "Kill Ando?" Don't you dare/.ahd WHAT THE HELLL?!??!?!??!?!!?!?!? What the hell indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just keep hanging on to the idea that this was cooked up between Hiro and Ando to look one way but be another. Also? This might explain Ando "killing" Hiro later. It's the same game, played in the opposite direction for an audience that Hiro was unaware of when he saw it on the jump forward. This is what it must be, yes?

So who decked Monroe, and what was that corpse he dumped off the van? Who is this guy, and who does he work for? isn't he the same guy who was working with future!claire? which the writers don't seem to remember. can i get an "amen"? I'm trying to remember . . . now, did Sylar lose all his powers and was the hearing part of it? And maybe it's one that he hasn't re-aquired again/yet? Or, you know, just a continuity error.

That was my thought. Him or someone with the same power, but I think it was him. Which means they somehow got him out of the dream prison that Matt put him in.

Man. How horrible for Claire to have to sit there and hear Sylar say the things that feeling more true to her than her dad right now. Both of them are monsters to her now, in their own way. "It's all gonna be OK?" WTF?! Ah! Icky guy can make you do anything he want. Ewwww! And momma P is having dreams again. Who is that guy? Eeeeeeeep!!! Mr Petrelli is the mastermind guy?! Nice surprise!Only if you missed all the NBC promos for this episode—stupid idiots in the advertising department revealed that Papa Petrelli was the leader of the villains and the one pulling all the strings. So if you watched any NBC show live, as I did, you were pretty much screwed. Idiots. Idiots indeed!! I've been doing a much better job of speeding through all previews and it's making me much happier. Which is a bummer, 'cuz I used to love watching the previews, but now you can't trust them.

Let's see now...
Mohinder has become Shelob, or should I say, Helob, and is eating abusive neighbors and local drug dealers. Oh, yes, and it looks like he also ate his girlfriend. MoMo, eating people is wrong. [Flanders and Swann]
Claire means well, but she's got about as much street savvy as my daughters, poor kid.
Sylar has apparently joined BrainEaters Anonymous. He's a recovering brainoholic. We're supposed to forgive him, awww. Yeah, right.
Noah... My Noah... Running true to form, he puts family first. At least somebody's being consistent this season. Not heroic, just consistent. Which by the way, I do like Mrs Bennett this season - she's quite strong and together, when her mind isn't being messed with.
I really don't like Madam Petrelli.
And Hiro, after releasing Adam into the world, compounds his stupidity by turning his best friend Ando into shishkebab. It's the worst idea for a plot twist since Zack turned into Psycho Apprentice on Bones, and even harder to buy. A world of no, writers.
Also, it took me at least half-an-hour after the show ended to remember who the little round guy who manipulates minds and conjured up Linderman was - Matt's dad from S1, or am I sadly mistaken? Too many people, guys.

My post from LJ:
Oh Heroes. Why does the line from Aliens after Sigourney Weaver has just driven all badass into the complex in the Marine vehicle, knocking down walls and rescuing Hicks spring into mind? Hudson looks online and says the Sarge and Dietrich are alive. Their signs are low but they're alive. And the Amazon gal comes over and says then we go back and get them. And Ripley calmly says you can't help them. Right now they're being cocooned like the others. Mohinder, did ya inject yourself with Alien blood?
I'm still confused. And will continue to be confused. This show is confusing. So on the creeptastic meter:
1. Puppet guy. Ew, ew, ew. Scary serial killer ew. 2. Is that old Nathan or Nathan's dad? The dead only really not dead Arthur Petrelli? And he's mentalist guy like Parkman? 3. Speaking of which, isn't that Parkman's Dad doing the mental mojo with Daphne? Creepy. 4. Mohinder is seriously whackaloon. What he's grabbing people and cocooning them - why? Is he taking over Sylar's brain eating? (though bonus points for cocooning Maya)
Sad meter:
1. I liked Vortex guy. What a great job the actor did. And Claire, what a waste of space you were. You couldn't help him more than just standing there all angsty? I seriously am tired of angsty Claire. 2. Aw, Nathan lost his belief in Angels now that Mommy dearest has revealed where his power came from. 3. Ando dying only I call fake out. There's no way he's really dead or will stay dead. That has to have been some sort of plan.
Hell yea meter:
1. Ando saying that he and Hiro are the worse heroes ever. Amen to that brother. I am very tired of Hiro and his "oops, I messed up again" storyline. After last season and now this, Hiro has gone from most charming and adorable hero in the pilot to oh no, do we have to watch his storyline. 2. Sylar saying redemption takes time.
So overall another mess of an episode with moments of goodness. That's pretty much where Heroes lives for me now. I like some things, dislike some things and think they have a wildly overly complicated plotline with too many characters and too much disjointedness.

MoMo, eating people is wrong. [Flanders and Swann] I don't want Momo to be all spidery!!! Or at least I want him to be a sexy good-looking spider. ;D **snortle** IMO, I think the evil little smile he had in the car when HRG went out to talk to Claire tells us the recovery is not that solid. Very true on the consistancy. And he's always been a character that was practically the definition of "gray hat" - sometimes noble, sometimes doing very bad things, but always in service of what he sees as the most important thing. I continue to believe that this is a con that Hiro and Ando are pulling on this group to fool them into letting Hiro in. Denial? Perhaps! Yeah, the sheer number of characters is a bit overwhelming. And where are some of my faves from last season? Monica, for example! She had such a very cool power.

Surely you should have done some more, like, testing and stuff. Before just shooting up. OMG, so icky!!! So very very icky!! I think he must be more than a mentalist like the Parkmans are, since he's running the elder Parkman like his own little puppet. Or maybe he's just the most powerful of the mentalists? I can't decide if he's saving them for a later snack or if he's gonna go full bore and lay eggs like Matthew (was it Matthew) suggested. Either way? Eeeeep!! Vortex guy was awesome! And I wonder where the vortex takes them. Are they dead? In an alternate world? Or . . . ? And it was nicely done to have him actually not be that bad of a guy! As our Heroes go darker, he looks good in comparison. So then it made you wonder about all the other ones labeled as horribly bad by the Organization. Will some of them turn out to be also pretty OK? And then again, we have the other guy they were worried Claire might visit and he is really bad. Sing it sister!! Gotta be a fake out!! **continues to believe in the Hiro and Ando con idea** **nods** I'm still enjoying, but enjoying for what it is.

Teaser Nathan Voice over this time! Except its more of this SuddenReligiosity which I still don't understand. Nathan and Linderman again. Wait, is Nathan supposed to be in DC? Cause it really doesn't look like DC. Now Mohinder's a drug addict? WTF? Peter and Mama Petrelli. And then she spits on him. And Sylar can fix his broken neck. OK, then. And then a stunning role reversal, he saves Mama Petrelli. Love the music here. Claire's Mommies discover that Claire took off. Introducing more Villains. Claire's donned black so you know that she's well on her way to becoming Eeeeeevil. What did Claire use to nab that guy?

Part I
Back at Hiro and Adam.
Adam knows about the formula.
Hiro promises to put Adam in a cell with a vent. HA!
So Daphne is working for Linderman. Or "Linderman." Interesting.
Sylar and Daddy Bennett. Entertainment.
Claire finds the justice business isn't so cut and dry.
So Mohinder's not a drug addict, he was just pretending. Well, that's better. But what does he want the guy for?
Claire bonds with Vortex Guy.
Pinehearst. Where "Linderman" is working? So they must be a competing Paper Company?
Is Claire wearing extensions?
Tracy confesses to Nathan. So parallel to Vortex Guy.
God or a Doctor in Recida?
Claire and Vortex Guy again. Hey, The Moms are going to burst in and ruin things, aren't they? Nope, it's Daddy Bennett. Crap!

Part II
Sylar can feel other people's pain? Or just Claire's? If there was some kind of exchange, that would explain why Claire can't feel anything (or why she can't feel pain).
Adam evades Hiro. Heh. That didn't take long.
Mama Petrelli catches up Nathan.
Mama Petrelli knows Zimmerman.
Synthetic abilities.
Nathan's ability is also synthetic? Huh.
Maya walks into Mohinder's lab the spiderweb. Ah, so Mohinder is collecting drug dealers to feed on. Naturally.
And Mohinder discovers her. Is that the end of Maya?

Part III
OK, if you really don't want to make sure that no one gets a hold of the formula, YOU DESTROY IT, you don't just divide it up in two and keep the pieces in easy to find places. Sheesh.
Nathan and Tracy go off to find Mohinder.
Aw, Vortex Guy's family didn't show up.
Daddy Bennett wants Vortex Guy to kill Sylar. Do it! Do it! Except for the cost to your soul part.
So in the end Vortex Guy vortexes himself. *Sniff*
We are the worst Heroes ever. Sing it, brother.
Never say "it can't get any worse!" I thought we discussed this!
Daphne and black guy recruit Hiro.
Hiro stabs Ando. But not really right? I'm missing the bait and switch here.

Part IV Daddy Bennett drops Claire off at home. Booooo. Sylar tries to divide Claire and Daddy Bennett, except that he's right for the most part. Yeah, parents never learn. BioMom is with... That freaky guy who's controlling her actions and playing out some sort of sick fantasy with her? *shudder* Mama Petrelli, all alone. You'll forgive me if I don't feel any sympathy for her. Tracy's dead? That didn't take long. Unless... this is a dream/vision. Ring Guy. Who lobotomized everyone? Huh? Now Daphne has to recruit Matt. "Linderman" is incorporeal. So is he a projection? Stoutly dude. Is this our main villain? Knox. Who is the man on the bed? It's Daddy Petrelli!!! Oooh!!!
