Lola-- why do you call him "Grampa" Adama? I'm not Lola, but I'm pretty sure she calls him that because he's the grandfather of the future Lee Adama, who was the latest generation of Adamas that we saw on BSG.

I thought she was implying that he was the grandpa (rather than father) of Bill Adama.

Oh, man! His speech is the one that the TV networks should hear, eh? From the pens of the writers right thru metaphor to comment on our times. “That’s where the kids are going. Because it’s free. And the next generation coming up? They’ll expect it all to be free.” **get shivers over the “take a nice look at all these fine folks” bitterness in his voice** “Do you find yourself wondering, what it might be thinking?” “Are you seriously asking me about the practical applications of creating another race that will walk beside us?” It won’t be “beside us” for long, though, will it? Won’t need to be paid, won’t retire, will do whatever we ask – hey, there, rip your own arm off, will you? Yeah, “beside us”? Not so much. “Looked a little painful, didn’t it?” “We make them. We own them. They’re real. And the world’s just changed.” **gets shivers again** That was a SERIOUSLY disturbing scene! And then he even adds that it "looked a little painful"!! If he had any idea that was his daughter.... Thanks for sharing that--I didn't know the story. I wonder if applying those tats is going to get old for the actor. I remember hearing that Wentworth Miller got sick of it during the filming of Prison Break. This really took the show in a new direction for me. I was wondering how long they were going to let this poor girl wander around in the virtual world before her father found out she was there. Why did the kid run away after he told Adama, I wonder? Will Willy find out that his sister is a precursor to a Cylon? You would think something like that might have been addressed on BSG.

Hey. Isn't that guy that Graystone stole the chip from what's his name from BSG? The suit Cylon? Number 5? What do you think? Our second definite crossover, if it's him. Ooops. Young scientist got caught flirting with Zoelon. hehe James. Ouch. Oh. Zoe has a new outfit on. Pretty. Interesting ring. Hehe......Zoelon is coming on to the boy. Philamon. Fun! Well, not sure what to think of this ep. Pretty uneventful, but lots of setup.

What surprised me about Barnabas was that he's frankly short: it's unusual to see JM shot from an angle that doesn't, uh, flatter his height.
Zoe is beginning th scare the hell out of me, I have to say.
Julia, fanatics tend to

Different somehow from Clarice's corrupted (means/ends, etc), but still intense, beliefs. Seeing Teryl Rothery (Esai Moreales' assistant; the doc from SG1) makes me smile. Nice to see her working. With the smoking and the styles it's like "Mad Men meets Terminator."

Well, not sure what to think of this ep. Pretty uneventful, but lots of setup. I don't think it's the same guy, but they do have similar features. I loved Esai wrestling with the holoband packaging, and the whole scene, really. The way he recoiled at seeing Graystone, then tried to overcome the canned programming to no avail, and his shock at the the real Graystone getting in his face. Graystone's flashbacks(?) to the bloody murder of his rival's assistants were interesting. He was just imagining the murders because he wasn't actually there, correct? So not so much flashback as anxiety attack. I guess it's good that he is having some remorse; I was starting to think the man had no moral code at all. And once again, Amanda Graystone has made a huge error--this time by letting Sister Clarice into the secret lab to steal data. Too bad Zoelon didn't see it happen so she could stop it.

“No one called me terror-mom.” Ha! I like that we’re seeing consequences from the chip being stolen, all the ripples from that one act, eh? Everyone just keeps discussing things in front of the Zoelon. I’ve mentioned before how much I love these opening credits, haven’t I? Because, damn! The holoband scene, when Grampa Joseph Adama sees the opening Greystone program? Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! Sister Clarice, you’re sounding a bit frantic on the phone, better make your story smoother. Robo-tech guy, you are such a dork. James! Religiously fanatic-y, self-mutilating James!! Oh, yay, he’s gonna be a crazed bad guy! He’ll be the new Baltar!! (Hey, his character name even begins with B.) Barnabas and Sister Clarice are opposing each other in the one god organization . . . Interesting! I like Serge. Or Surge. Or whatever their little electronic butler is called. He’s fun! Probably because Daniel has been programming all sorts of weird stuff in him. See, now, this is the way to ingratiate yourself with Mrs. Greystone, Clarice. Get her drunk and bond over how no one understands Zoe. Doc Frasier – good to see you again. Mrs Greystone is a potty mouth when she’s drunk. I’m really liking Lacy more and more – she’s so dedicated and determined. All three of the young women are totally kick ass – Zoe, Lacy and Tamara. Using the tv talk show again to shape public opinion. OMG, the Zoe avatar pretending to be Rachel who is supposedly wearing a Zoe avatar. Nice matching scenes. Sister Clarice drugging up and then in bed looking at us. Greystone’s nightmare and then in bed, looking at us. Joseph – nice bit of heat there, between you and your investigator. “My dream is to tear up your dream.” Oh, snap! Everytime we see those windows, that vista from Greystone’s house, it just reminds me of the bomb going off and blowing thru Baltar’s windows.

I love how we are getting multiple technological paths this future can/will go. And yeah, the connection between the Adamas and the beginning of the Cylons? Whoa!

Good point. Serge has his own Twitter account, if your into that sort of thing. He answers questions from fans; it's very cute. I love Patton Oswalt. And he does such a good job portraying a talk show host, I could see him being one in real life. I love her 40s inspired clothing. It's still a little soon for him to move on from mourning his wife, though. Someone pointed out on another site that the confrontation was setting up a Bill Gates/Steve Jobs type rivalry.
