The radiation therapy has become pointlessly distressing for Dad, due to the discovery of even more cancers elsewhere, so we have stopped the treatment and will be moving him to hospice care tomorrow. His oncologist and radiologist both concur that this is the best course at this point, due to his extremely rapid decline. They both also agree that it's a blessing to go so quickly. My sister and mom and I also agree, intellectually, but it's hard to get the heart to understand. We are helping each other try, though. I love you guys.
