Natalie French: The praying mantis is a fascinating creature. Forced to live alone.
Xander: I see. So if she's not human she's...?
Buffy: Technically? A big bug.Welcome to Part 1091 of the Soulful Spike Society Main Thread!!! Relax. Have a martini. We're not California Praying Mantises, and you're not forced to live alone here, but that doesn't mean you're not fascinating. So is our website where you'll find a host of essays, reviews, commentary and fan fiction written by our very own S'cubies, including our very own Queen Bee E, for hours of solitary fun. ;D If certain topics of the day bug you and you don't want to be alone, go here where you can rant, get out the bug spray, call an exterminator have deep discussion about them, with others of like sentiment or opposing beliefs. Creepy crawlies can be found everywhere, especially in some of our favorite television shows and we have a special place to talk about them as we cluster around the egg sacs. If you want to avoid driving us buggy, risk having your heads bitten off or having us screech in your ears like bat sonar, please be sure to play nice, read the Rules and avoid posting spoilers anywhere but under the ghost button provided for your convenience, or in Spoiled Souls. Heh! I was first. Only because it's 6:47 my time, and I'm waiting for dinner to get done.
Great photos as always, Sara; I love the sky and Kaylee's doggie expressiveness, but that reel is one sexy little device, it is, and those two shots hit my shameless tool kink.
Julia, must go look at dinner.

From the last part, Spring's wedding dress design for Angelique: S'cubies! Here is the dress I've started for the wedding dress design for angelique. I don't want her to have to worry herself about she wants on her big day . . . let's do it for her! That way, all that will be left for her to do is the actual construction work! What are friends for? As you can see, it has that Renaissance feel that Angelique likes, plus it proudly proclaims her allegiance to S'cubiedom! But I really think it needs a li'l sumpin' sumpin' more . . . your input appreciated.

Be is not the queen. Be is the reverend. If bees have reverends how would we know?

Be is not the queen. Be is the reverend. If bees have reverends how would we know? By the little white clerical collars around their tiny necks? This is an awesome part opener. Nice to see Xander's Praying Mantis Lady is in such a good mood and so cheerfully attired. (In case anyone is interested, what looks like joyful exuberance on the part of that praying mantis is, in fact, a defensive threat display. But hey, it looks good and I'm sure the mantis isn't going to sue! Although we may have to check with Sue about that later.) Diane *whose mind is wandering into strange and forbidden places*

Hey! I can see images! Y'know icons, photos, stuff like that! In fact, I can see everybody's images except my own.
D'you suppose that means I'm a vampire?
I wonder how long it's going to last.
