You got the snow we got on Sunday night, but I think you got twice as much. It's been a snowy winter, but no terribly cold days below 0. I'll take snow over 20 straight days of -0 weather anyday. But enough is enough. It's time for spring! And I'd say we're getting it today. It literally hasn't stopped snowing since yesterday afternoon, and there's more than a foot of snow on the porch railing now—it's even deeper in places on the porch itself. When Kaylee tries to move around where I haven't already walked the snow is up to her chest. Speaking of Kaylee... when we went out this morning I strapped on some snowshoes to make walking a little easier. As I tried to take some pictures, wiping the lens clean frequently, I caught the edge of one and started toppling backward. It was a bit of a slow-motion fall, so I was able to keep the camera safely in the air. But as soon as I landed, Kaylee ran over, poked me in the face with her nose... and promptly started digging at my coat pockets to try and get to the cookies she knew I was carrying. Lassie she ain't. It looks like that is the first of 2 storms headed your way. We've had enough flurries to give the ivy and bushes a dusting. After the 67 on Sunday. Weather Whiplash. Jim has to fly out of Baltimore tomorrow, where there are 5 inches (possible) forecast from late Wed. thru Thursday.

I'm all caught up with Spartacus! Whew! That last episode with the nekkid and the nekkid and the . . . nekkid. ;D Oh, so you noticed there was the nekkid and all...

Yes, it was very nekkid-y. I'm still rating episode 4 as #1 in the gross-out Olympics, however. Aside from the blood and violence, I think Bones still is the leader in sheer gross special effects. more than Supernatural? (not that I've seen that many, but that one from 2 weeks ago still has me creeped out)

I concur. Supernatural comes in at a close second. I must check out Spartacus. Sounds like my kind of show. After the "My Bloody Valentine" episode, with that opening scene? SPN is now definitely my number one for grossness. On the same page, boy howdy!

It's kind of a toss there between the splattering gore and the body bits and the occasional entrails of Spartacus vs. the pustules and the barf and the occasional skin peeling off so prevalent on House. Oh, and don't forget that Nip/Tuck could be in the running what with the up-close-and-personal views of plastic surgery. ...and of course there's Bones and the flash-fried or rat-eaten humans... ...and CSI with the you-name-it yucky... Damn. Spartacus is beginning to sound tame! Except with the nekkid.

See, I still don't think that scene from that ep of SPN was all that memorably horrific. I mean, it was gross, but not more so than some stuff I've seen on Bones or Spartacus. Eh, different pukes for different . . . dukes.
