Dear Jon Stewart: Robert Pattinson? Really? Really? Well, the screaming fangirls got me out of the chair and off to bed before 11:30, so there is that. Julia, dumbest interview ever, Jon. Really, the crossover between RP fangirls and Jon Stewart's audience mystified me. REALLY? You go to a taping of Jon Stewart and you also squee over RP? Who are you? How old are you? [And, not to bash someone who may be a perfectly nice person but really, isn't this more about the character (in which case my questions still stand) than the actor -- wouldn't anybody who had been cast as Edward provoked the same response? Also ------ objectively speaking: do you other ladies think this guy is good looking? ] IMO, of course, no disrespect intended toward Twilight fans but I just do not get it.

Rpatz always looks to me like a Victorian caricature of a very handsome young man; rather Tenniel-ish. I suspect that there was a fraction of RPattz not JStew fans in the audience; they do announce guests ahead of time. Julia, I hear there are some Pattinson fans dating from his Harry Potter role, but I also suspect they're not the ones who make the noises he's described as "sounding like the gates of hell."

Morning! Dang it. I forgot about Parenthood. Sorry about the Facebook corruption. Why don't you block receiving the instant updates from the most annoying? Rachael - sorry about the nasty cold and the huge gas bill. Mine was 3 times larger last month, too, but it was estimated and it was COLD here, so I half expected it. Still - 3 times is a lot. Hopefully yours was an estimation. Scubies: Hi Karen. If I don't comment - I'm evil and bad and not appreciative of the great dancing daughters of the world. Or you know, something like that. So I can't really and honestly it wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the two newbies/crown princesses who post everything they do up to but not yet including bathroom breaks. Haha! Yeah, I get that. Best to comment without thinking too much on it and scroll on by quickly. they will tire of constantly posting soon. (Yeah - beyond wishful thinking.)

I just wonder how much say he really has in guest booking. Maybe Pattinson is a bargaining chip; ie, "I'll interview Pattinson if you get me Biden" or something like that.

Maybe The Daily Show looked at those line-ups and said "well, okay then, we'll book a typical Leno/Letterman guest?"

Did my stationary cycling while watching BtVS - this time Killed by Death. This is really quite a good ep. Love the way it ends with Buffy getting that gory picture of herself, drawn by the little boy. And I really love the Xander-Angel confrontation in the hospital corridor. Xander - he rocks! And the constant riffing with Cordy . . . so good. And David B - I know he wasn't very experienced as an actor going into BtVS, and it showed, especially in contrast with that outstanding cast. But he really starts to hit his stride once the character loses his soul, and though you can still see him growing as an actor throughout the next few seasons, you start to see - in those little moments like "telling Joyce about making love to Buffy" and "confrontation Xander in the hospital" that he can achieve brilliance. The BtVS watching is really helping me do my exercise! Coolio!! It is so fun to rewatch those eps!

Maybe he could be a mentor or role model for Kurt? I just want to see him go toe-to-toe with Sue. Anything else would be gravy.

Well, I finally went and did something for myself - I got my facial hair waxed off. Everything from the nose down is a bit red and tingly, but I am assured that this will pass. Next, remembering to wear earrings and at least a pendant when I go out in public. I comb my hair, I brush my teeth, I make sure my clothes are clean and not too ratty, but anything beyond that usually falls into the "why bother" category. Back to the online class, I guess. You comb your hair before going out in public? You're one up on me, then.
