Ah, but when I type M-ischa it gets replace with "he-who-better-enjoy-his-one-good-day-because-S.P.I.K.E.-is-back-tomorrow-and-will-kick-his-behind."

Spike OK. Well this changed back to normal, as you can now type "Spike" without it changing. So the smilies should be back to working OK . . . Yep. ETA: Oh! Everything changed back! Ah, well. Good one while it lasted, Powers-That-Be.

No, I've been busy plotting fic with a friend from LJ and basically discovering that she and I were separated at birth. ;D I'll probably try to watch them sometime this weekend, if I'm not too busy sobbing into my pillow and flailing over missing all the fun at JIBcon.

May you and your super-friend and your LJs live happily ever after.

I"m hoping all of the broken links are back tomorrow. Also, Mother Nature seems to be pulling an April Fool's joke on the entire eastern half of the country. In that she is making it 80+ degrees. The joke will be in a few days (or weeks) when she pulls the rug out from under us. See, and now *I* have hail and sleet and cold temps. Julia, or, in my experience: Holy Week in Western Washington

Well, you do realize that if they're all distracted by that other bright shiny object, that means you could be having your way with the one and only original, unopposed... Have you looked in the cellar/dungeon? Spring has that crypt mined like every field in Iraq! There's motion detectors, radar, sonar, AND he has a GPS implant! She's got dogs, tarantulas, scorpions and drawbridges over the crocodile-infested moat and then there's the heat-seeking missiles (safe around vampires y'know because of the whole lower body temperature thing, and all...) to say nothing of trying to chew through the stainless steel straps... *whispers* yeah, amazing, innit? all that trouble just to protect a spikebot. the real thing's over here in the three-year-old corner, having a cuppa. Also, where's that rain we were promised? No rain, just cold and windy and way too bright out there. *pouts*

I"m getting smilies. And the pics of (apparently) the man of the day. But no other images (like Numfar). They all just say [image]. Well, I am just assuming they are smilies - I don't know what they are supposed to be, I just know I'm seeing a lot of red-x "images." Looks like someone did some sort of "search and replace" on the board names . . . my next suspect is Sara. She acts all sweet and innocent, but I stopped falling for that awhile back. The link breakage on the smilies is because the word S-pike is changing to Misha, so the link shows "soulfulmishasociety.com" or some such thing, and there is no such page. If you try to type just type S-pike (without that dash), it won't let you. It changes to "Misha." Ah, but it works with all caps: SPIKE Or we could just use "Blondie Bear".

It's like you've been there! Just remembering Jack Benny's vault.

Oh well, contractor is supposed to finish kitchen this weekend so I think I may spend a lot of time at the movies. Clash of the Titans opens. That could be worth a look.
