Headline from the local weather website: Welcome to June: Hot with PM Storms Now, seriously, if you are mostly focused on the radar map above the headline and only sort of half scanning it slowly, might you not think that "June is hot with PMS". Poor June. The Houston Summer Weather Report has begun. Today will be in the high 90s with crushing humidity and deadly allergy index. Oh, and it might rain. Repeat daily until November.

Tipper and Al are separating. after 40! years. Random other topic: massive sinkhole OH MY GOD, THAT LOOKS LIKE A HELLMOUTH.That is terrifying. Hello, my new nightmare. My thoughts exactly! We get those--and while I've seen them swallow houses and yards, I've never seen one eat an office building before--or be so perfectly round. Where is the Slayer when you need her?

Hi, everyone.... Beginning of the month after a long week end is always rough at work, so I'll just say: Glad the Memorial for Vincent went well for Spring... despite the heavenly waterworks. Glad Spring and Michelle sort of behaved themselves with the waiter..... even without Monnie and Lola's supervision. Was thinkibng of travelling up to Ann Arbor for this year's art festival. Do I dare? Hope that the Michiganders are hospitable outside of football season. ;D leftylady

My brain has been ate by a computer game. And also the last week. And a bit. GemCraft. You make shiny things and they blow up bugs. Simples. ... except there's 8 different colors of shiny things that do different things, and you can put them in towers or traps and they do different things, and there's a lot of percents maths to figure out, and if you have gems of 2 colors at once there's mass bonus but if you have 3 colors you lose all your bonus and get penalties on specials, and there's skills you can earn with XP, and you have to figure out where to put the towers and traps, and there's thingies you put a shiny in and they do something spectacular and there's bunches of different varieties of those, and the towers and caves and buildings are all in different places on every level, and it is not simples, except for how it is. I'm on level 89 right now. That doesn't mean I played 89 places. I'm on place #65 right now but some of the places are hidden until you play a place in the right mode. There's 9 different modes. I've played quite a few places now in all 9 different modes. If you blow up bits of random building or piles of stone you can find hidden shiny things that give you XP. If you do the right combination of things that make a level slightly harder you can get more XP. If you play the modes with 3timesXP you get more XP. And XP turn into levels, and levels give you skill points, and skill points buy one of 28 skills, some of which give you more shiny things. It has eated my brain. I keep trying to figure out the best way to play this. And it doesn't get any different or more interesting.... and yet I'm still playing it. I'm also listening to Doctor Who audios at the same time, but mostly from a feeling that playing just this tiny game over and over is not a well thing to do. Aside from that I'm having fun. PS level 90 now

Poor June. **snickers** ;D **continues to giggle, totally 12 years old** See, Will should know better than to try cruelty back at Sue. She is sooooo much better at it than him. She will wreak a revenge that is truly terrible to behold.
