Yahoo is always coming up with new and different ways to torment me. The latest is that in my address book all of my categories have disappeared and all my contacts are listed as "unfiled." 300+ contacts and there were about 10 categories. So how would they suddenly all become "unfiled?" Because Yahoo Mail is run by idiots? Mine have suddenly become unfiled too, but at least I only have 86 of them.
Three pairs of earrings complete, sort of. I'm waiting for my Artbeads order with copper earwires for Bestest Buddy's two pair so I can finish them, but that's all. One more pair in process, hand charm ones for my cousin; I have enough more charms to make myself a pair, but at the moment I'm thinking I probably won't. I have a new work area, a bit - I moved the blue wooden Ikea TV tray into the living room. My comfy chair is too low for it, so I'm really working on my lap, but at least it's a place to put the bead tray and tools and all. So far, I've only lost one bead/eyepin unit that went flying when it snapped out of the pliers, but I had more beads and eyepins, and it might still turn up some day. Okay, I'm getting things done today, why am I still feeling so down? ETA: And my cousin's hand charm earrings are done - gold and silver feather hand charms (like a glove with feather cuffs) and black and garnet Czech firepolish beads, not too shabby if I do say so myself. They go nicely with the necklace I'm giving her for her birthday. Oh, now THAT IS interesting. (Anybody else use Yahoo Mail? Do you have this problem? Well, fudge, I answered this myself by looking at my other yahoo account, which I run for the church women. Yep, all 300+ of those are now unfiled as well.) Here is the address to report it: <address-book-feedback@cc.yahoo-inc.com> Maybe if they realize that it is a wider than one person problem they will be more likely to figure it out. I have so many because of my church activities --- which is also way I need my categories: Early Greeters; Late Greeters; Bakers; Visitor Card Follow-up Callers; then there is family, friends, tutees, and random others. Without the categories I have a real hassle making sure I include everyone who needs to be notified about an issue. Wondering how they can put them back and where they have gone?

Thanks for the email address - I sent them an inquiry. I doubt anybody will so much as get back to me (aside from the automated response thingy you always get), but at least we tried. By the way, my categories are all still listed, but they're empty and everything is in "unfiled".

Julia, see me through the time of trials indeed...

My shawl/veil. You can't tell in this light, but the outer diamonds are beaded along with the center star. I pined it out at 6 ft across exactly. Phew. Stunning!

Happy Sunday, S'cubies. I have been half-way vegging out this weekend, though there is plenty to do . . . must get on the ball . . .

Hey, y'all. Please to vibe for my surgery tomorrow. Supposedly at 7:30 am central. General anesthesia, removing a parathyroid gland.
Hopefully I'll be back on here by Tuesday but don't panic if it's longer. If it's longer than a week some of you have my email address I believe and I think Anne has my SIL's email.
Not anticipating any problems, but in my worldview one way to prevent issues is by over-preparing to begin with.

I have been hiding from the heat and wallowing in online TVness, interspersed with moments of putting things away and neatening up. ;D Very nicely lazy and yet accomplishful. And I went with a friend to see a really rather excellent community production of "The Drowsy Chaperone".

I don't think I have your SIL's email; if I ever did, it was at least one computer back.Which reminds me that there was discussion, a long while ago, about setting up an emergency contact list. I was collecting contact info, but it all kind of fell by the wayside at some point and was forgotten. Technopagans, if you want to start that up again, I can be the collection point again. Just let me know.
