JM returning as Brainiac on Smallville this season. Ooo...this is cool. Smallville was actually pretty good last year. Good-bye, Lana! Not that she wasn't a good character, but it was time for her to go. ETA: Couldn't sleep, Sue? Hope you're doing ok.

The one that works best, so far, is a 3M one that looks like a joy stick; it's a little too narrow for my palm (but comes in bigger sizes) and doesn't have a scroll wheel, but works OK. I haven't tried it for anything tricky (like using the retouch tool for unuseful flies in flower pics) but it's OK for cruising the web. Anna's off taking her driving test, if anyone has vibes to spare. Julia, all phalanges crossed, myself You already have lots of good vibes coming, but I'll add driving-test ones and to your list. Kitty and I have been back to the dentist. She got her cavity filled, I got the rest of the gum-pockets planed or whatever they call it. I have to go back in three months, which insurance does not cover, dammit. As usual, the novocaine took so long to kick in that it was basically no help during the torture procedure, but my nose is now numb on the right side. We are both having frappuccino for lunch. What the hell, I deserve it. I could use a hug, if anyone has some brackets lying around. (((((brackets Anne and all who need them)))))) I have some to spare from all the hugs I got from Lucas last night.

My dresses are done! Well, mostly. I have about an hours worth of hand sewing left to do. Pics will have to wait till Saturday though. I'm about to start making pie crusts for the individual pies I'm making for Saturday.

I have slain usefuls. Many, many usefuls including walking to the market, moving furniture, vacuuming and moving furniture back again. I ache all over, and I still have to clean all the hair off the vacuum cleaner's roller brush. I think I've taken enough exercise for one day... and also ow. Good vibes, please, if there are any not currently in use. Younger Daughter has taken the bus to her college, with the Elder Daughter going down (because Elder had to take that bus anyway), but she will be getting lunch, exploring the campus and taking the bus home by herself. Okay. I shall now heave myself out of the chair, find the seam ripper, and clean the roller brush. Slowly. ETA: Younger Daughter just walked in. She got snacks from a vending machine on campus, but decided to come home for lunch. She seems to have had a good time, so I guess my mom-worry vibes were sufficient.

Oh, yeah. Been awake for values of awake that include seething resentment at the whole concept of "not asleep" since 9:20. Need to wash hair. Hating on that idea, too. Also dinged my bad knee getting out of the damned bed. Julia, stupid corporeality, anyway.

Younger Daughter is a young woman now. College type. Finding her way around town on the bus means she is functioning well within her parameters. You. Sit. Now.

Hey ho! Good to hear you have a solution to the handfasting location mix-up, Angelique - and especially one that will actually be a good solution in some ways. Also good to hear that surgery went well, Sue! Lots of and {{{ }}}} to all! Crazy hot weather up here - I hate the hot when it comes with sticky. Oooh! And I will not be around for PR tomorrow night 'cuz I'm heading off to the "Can't Stop the Serenity" first night. Woo hoo! This one comes with bonus Dr Horrible showing - - - score!

Thank you! Have you recovered from the hotness that was the most recent episode of nakid,sexed-up vampire Eric in True Blood? Checking: Respiration: 160 breaths per minute Pulse: 240 B/P: 325/299 Nope. Did write up my takes on some of the ep's more, um, interesting moments. It was a very **fans self** nice ep. **happy purrs** This one is living on the DVR for a while for some strategic rewinding.

Huh. I just realized I never posted a link to yesterday's pictures. All two of them can be seen here. And today's are here.Love the comparison of the large-scale from yesterday (big sky, long shot of mourning dove) and the more intimate small-scale of today (action!feeder). The close up of Queen Anne's Lace is lovely. Lovely! I love the dark tones of the "hand" pieces.
