Hey ho, all! So, what's the what with y'all? Lola! Hi! So, I've got this page on academia. edu, and it tells me every time someone googles me. Which has been twice in the past three days. It's kinda cool, and kinda freaky at the same time. I'm hoping it's places I've applied to, checking me out, and not some cyberstalker.

Well, yeah, but ................... ROBIN SACHS! Is there any chance that Tony and Robin will be making out? But seriously - tough decision-making there, be. I wish I could say I would go for you and report back, but I don't think I can arrange it in time. I love the name of the event, though. From your mouth to the universe's ear.

And I'd put money on it being a potential FABULOUS employer!

Oh, and how is you today, my dear? I am rockin' life, hardcore, baybee! So it's any day that ends in the word "day," then. I'm being vaguely amused by my mom, who I made a little mix for...so all day she's had Leonard Cohen's "So Long, Marianne" stuck in her head, and has been singing it. Of course, she's been singing it like herself, so it sounds really really upbeat. That's my mom: She can make Leonard Cohen cheerful. I told her I should give her some Joy Division and see what she can do with that.

argh: I had decided not to go to the Hallowhedon convention on Halloween weekend. It's the weekend before an exam, and I wasn't especially interested in 3/4 of the guests. But there was Anthony Head... but then there's a whole weekend to see one guy... so I thought, no, be sensible, don't go. So now they've gone and announced Robin Sachs. <--- that Robin Sachs. ... must calculate all over again! ... could I even get myself organised for this Friday? Do I have clean clothes that fit? Would there be a hotel room? Okay the website says there's hotel rooms. I don't even know if there's any people going, let alone people I know... I will probably sit around at my house and not go. Probably. I'd have to buy tickets on the door from this close anyway. ... I haven't been to any conventions for ages. According to my 'conventions' tag I haven't been to any for a full year. That's just weird. ... I thought I'd decided this. Now there is thinking again... Plus, that con has got an AWESOME name!

The winds are kinda amazing right now. I will have to make sure I pin Nanucci securely to his chain when I let him out, or I do believe he would make friends with Toto in Oz. I wrote the "rest of the story" in the Admin thread, about the fostering thing. Am going to remain cool and calm. Have counselor on Wednesday evening (tomorrow) and that will help. OMG, the wind!? Crazy wild wind out there, dude!

What's not to love?
